Finally watched this episode on Pluto tv

So I didn’t realize that MAYBE CSI:Miami had episodes starting at season 1, I have never been a fan so I don’t know how many seasons they actually have, I know that Vegas are hit/miss with them posting their seasons. I watched part of it last night & just finished watching the rest cause I fell asleep with it on. I like it, I’m not a fan of Horatio which is why I’ve never been into Miami as much.

Rewatched, 1 last episode to go, could it be sarcoidosis?

So funny, never noticed when it first aired, but binge watching, literally 20 episodes out of 22, the big question, "Could it be sarcoidosia?"

So I have to wonder if a writer had a relative that had that?

I think season 7 finally it was sarcoidosis, but then it turned out to be something else.

Just very odd to have it mentioned every episode... kind of lazy writing, as much as I absolutely love the show.

Immortality felt kind of underwhelming to me as a series finale

Tired of this - CSI

They are still messing around with seasons. First CSI disappears from Hulu altogether. Then seasons 1-7, 15-16 disappear from Paramount Plus in the middle of the night (who is supposed to own the thing).

Before I blow a ton of money buying the whole thing from Amazon, are there any (no ads) streaming services that has CSI now?

S3E4 A Little Murder: Ending Scene w/ Gil Grissom and Dr. Jane Gilbert

Immediately following the scene where Gil tells Sara and Nick that this was a hate crime and the killer hated himself, Gil leaves to visit the University for the deaf (presumably), where he's observing and notices two people sign/talk by a fountain. That's before Dr. Jane Gilbert shows up and signs/says, "Dr. Grissom, welcome back."

I know very little about ASL. I will learn more with time, but I don't want to learn a whole language right now just for a minute scene. So if someone is proficient in the language, can you please tell me exactly what they say, word for word?

My understanding from what follows Dr. Jane's, "Dr. Grissom, welcome back," is as follows:
Grissom signs: "Nice to see you."
Dr. signs something along the lines: "What's going on?"
Grissom signs something back.
Dr. signs something back-- I think starting with the words "I would," but idk if that's right or what follows.
Grissom smiles and shakes his head before signing back something.
Dr. smiles and signs/says "Take care of yourself." before patting him on the shoulder and walking off.

Bonus points if you know what the guy by the fountain says/signs.

I can't find a transcript. It doesn't have subtitles. Google AI loves telling you you're wrong while giving you wrong information. And the CSI wiki doesn't say anything either. I wish I was better with ASL. I know it's not important to enjoy the show, but I deeply love Gil's character.

The Colors Of CSI

I've recently started watching all the series in the past few months.

I've never been to Miami, but why is every episode (indoors and outdoors lol) overwhelmingly orange? Even Horatio is orange. And shockingly, as a pasty New York ginger, he walks around a tropical climate in a jet black business suit, never sweats and never gets sunburned.

I have been to New York, and I can assure with 100% certaintly, that it is not tinged blue. Yet every episode (again, indoors and out) is dark, shadowy and unmistakeably... blue lol.

The original series seems to be multi-colored, honoring it's Vegas roots. But everything was way oversaturated (again, Vegas).

I get it, they want a signature look that reinforces each series' location, but good gravy they were heavy-handed about it.

Also, does anyone know why the CSI Miami subreddit is private and seemingly not adding users?

"Doc Robbins' Protégé" in CSI:Vegas

I was rewatching S1E2 of the new CSI:Vegas and was a shocked to hear Grissom greet the new medical examiner by calling him "Doc Robbins' protégé" (at 36:20). I definitely understand if David Berman was unavailable to reprise, but Super Dave was with Doc every episode since CSI S1E9, and Doc Robbins even won the Hitting For The Cycle pool by betting on him! Feels like a huge oversight and diservice to one of the core CSI members, and was unfortunate hearing Grissom of all people say that.
