I usually doubt existence of this molecule, Cubane C8H8.

Has anyone worked with it in any setting, synthetic mechanism frame 2.
Do the carbons actually sit at 90 degrees!

Nanotubanoxide - Dehydration of Nanotubanol

B3LYP/6-31G* optimized geometries of an 84 carbon segment derived from Nanotubanol.

The laterally oriented epoxides isomer is more stable than the longitudinally oriented epoxides isomer, by 14 kcal per epoxide.

BENZOCYCLOPROPENE

I somehow reconciled myself to [1.1.1]propellane, but this forbidden cyclopropane somehow manages to look even worse. The second reaction is undoubtedly driven by Satan's hand, which explains the unbearable stench of the product and why the mechanism of the elimination is impossible to draw. I first saw this moiety in some substituted naphthalene and genuinely thought (and hoped) that it was a joke

Glucose

Can someone explain why Glucose cannot exist like this? Me as GCSE students wonder all bonds number matched in this compound
