Is there a way to protect paint from chipping?

I figured this community would be the best place to ask:
I have an official Genshin edition Dualsense and I'm worried that the print will start to fade with use. Is there a way to prevent wear except putting it in a glass display case?

AFAIK silicone cases can trap dust, moisture and leech chemicals, and hard plastic cases cause micro abrasions. I don't have access to premium automotive coatings rn

Where can I find these buttons? (Xbox Design Lab)

Looking for the these 7 buttons in Gray on Black: view, menu, share, a, b, x, y.

Xbox Design Lab doesn’t ship here. Trying to see my options besides parcel forwarding.

Vintage Styled

Didn’t feel like waiting for the 25th anniversary controller, or feel like paying the likely scapled prices, so I took matters into my own hands.

Extreme rate trans green shell, Xbox 360 ABXY buttons.

Had to sand the bottom of the 360 buttons down, and sand down the tops of the regular ABXY buttons. Bonded together with JB Plastic Weld.

Not bad for 3 hours of sanding and cutting.

The X button ended up being a little skewed, but aren’t we all 🤷

If they ever make third party full colour buttons after the release of the 25th anniversary controller I’ll probably pick up a set or two.

Which ps5 hall effect controller should I buy for ps5

I'm looking for a new Ps5 controller and budget isn't really an issue but my absolute top priority is getting something with Hall Effect or TMR sticks. Other than that, I have a few specific preferences: I really don't want those clicky, mouse-click feel buttons for L1/L2/R1/R2, I much prefer the traditional, regular trigger feel. Also a friend of mine has the Razer Raiju V3 Pro and I honestly hated how the D pad felt on it though he claims it's just an acquired taste. Do you think I should avoid controllers with that mechanical D pad style entirely, or is it worth trying to get used to? Lastly, I'm still not sure if I even need back buttons or not. any recommendations that fit this would be awesome, thanks yell

Is there any controller with a 8k polling rate and mouse click bumpers?

I own a g7 pro zzz edition and currently have a tarantula 8k on the way I like the g7 pro and want to try the ps layout hence why I got the tarantula 8k instead of the g7 8k however I’m most likely going to get rid of both controllers as shooting or moving in games with my bumpers (cod and gears) feels way better is there any controllers that have 8k polling and mouse click bumpers I’m not too fussed if it has back paddles as I’ve never really used them but would like tmr sticks mouse click face buttons I also play claw if that’s any help

I have few questions

I am planning to airbrush a controller as same playstation 1 matte gray color.. so here are my questions

1- should I use water base or alcohol based primer

2- which type of paint is suited for this job because again I saw water and alcohol and even oil

3- is varnish seal is a must ? How can I keep the matte look

I am planning to to use this controller I am not doing it as decoration.. so any advice ill help .. thanks in advance

My theory steps

1-Lowest sand paper to remove protective coating .

2- wash it with destiled water .

3- use water based primer ( white ) because the controller is black and I want it to be gray (ps1 ).

4- maybe I ill do double coat and wait to dry between each coat .

5- use the gray water based 2 coat max.

Gamesir Leggendaria Lite - my modding of the Tegenaria Lite

Iterated upon steviegalluscio/alpakka-lite: High-accuracy low-cost gyro controller, replaced thumb screw idea with soldering to copper tape (with conductive adhesive, allowing easy stacking). Conversely that also makes the mod fully reversible without any permanent cosmetic marks on the controller.

- Chinesium Pico, they seem to cost like 2.5 SGD each on aliex now idk I bought mine in bulk long ago + minimalist female USB-C breakout that costs like 4 pennies or whatever

- Tegenaria/T3 Lite is ubiquitious and can be had through aggressive vouchering through your ecom platform of choice (got mine for 10 SGD through Shopee)

- 2x LSM6DSVs are 4.5 SGD each on Taobao (I paid 5 SGD each for two LSM6DS3s before on Shopee, woe is me 😿), and they are *tangibly better* than LSM6DS3s, having *zero* cold drift, better stability at 250Hz and 1kHz capable(!)

- used like 1.5 meters from a 100m spool of 22AWG silicone wire (much better than PVC and very useful for future tinkering)

- some pieces of conductive copper tape as makeshift capacitive surface (works flawlessly but I don't ratchet so it's kinda lost on me :P)

comes out to like 22 SGD + 7 SGD in miscellaneous material costs (rough estimate), 1 hour of labor
willing to answer further inquiries with the project and/or building your own if I get around to them

Has anybody ever try a full-body controller setup for Genji?

There’s this guy on Youtube who created a full body sized mecha for playing DVA, and it made me wonder if anybody has done something similar for Genji (my new main). I study a bit of Bōjutsu and Jōjutsu myself, and have even ordered a replica dragonblade from ali express to make my practice feel more like Genji. I think it would be really satisfying to swing my dragonblade back and forth in the dark recesses of my room and have Genji do the same in game, and I think it would also be really good for my training, too.

Does anybody have any advice for how to accomplish this? I’m thinking a mini-trapoline for double jumps will be a must, sensors on the Ryū-ichimonji replica obviously also necessary, and some kind of shuriken projectile (frisbees?) for my standard attack. What could I use for deflect?

My new controller

This is perfect for cs2. Will remap buttons, add different input for different times of holding a button, and I will destroy anyone lol

Custom Controller Recs?

Hi, I want to build a custom design for my ps5 controller, but I can't seem to find any places that aren't premade designs. I don't want sticker skins either. I have an image I want printed on the touch pad and it's difficult trying to find something that isn't $300. Let me know if there are any places you can think of
