Have a question hoping someone can set me straight. I have nexus upper/lower with timney trigger (correctly installed ) and noticed can't move safety lever to safe position unless charge the bolt back first. When I do so, safety lever/safety functions perfectly. Was messing around with my old Scorpion Evo S1 (which I haven't messed with in years and only upgrade is safety shoe, hbi trigger spring, magpul pistol grip and hbi safety levers) and noticed I was able to flip safety lever to safe position even without charging bolt back first. Is this normal for both of these guns. Seems like should function exactly same way.

Ive had an S1 for a long time with a few upgrades, including a nexus bolt. I have quite a few PCC's and different 9mm cans. Even for a blowback design, the Scorpion is loud when shooting suppressed. Not at the barrel either or FRP from the port really (depending on the can I'm running on it), but more of an ear piercing high pitch tinny tone when the bolt cycles and slams back.

I'm considering getting an SD variant, but I'm curious how loud the action is when running suppressed with the delayed design? What's the tone like?

What was the lead time? 6-8 weeks as advertised?

As the title states, was the 7.8” discontinued? I saw that it was a limited run but are there no plans to do another production run? I can’t find one anywhere for under $1400, which seems a bit outrageous considering these we’re $800-$900 just over a year ago. Should I suck it up and pay that price because I’m late to the party or do I wait until they make more (potentially)?

I have the Nexus bolt and bearing delay upper. And I had a thought about a dead blow system to help with OOB detonations that plague the Scorpion. Especially in this age of FRTs.

I know the Nexus bearing delay system should help with bolt bounce along with the 125% spring.

But the scorpion bolt is a chonky bitch. Anyone try or thought about hollowing out some of that heavy bolt and put a tungsten powder in to act as a dead blow?

If my dumbass thought of that, there's no way someone else hasn't thought of it. Just wondering if anyone has seen this experiment done by someone before or heard something similar

Ive seen them on a micro, but id be curious to see how they look on the full size.

I received my Nexus Evo Gen 2 (8" barrel). I have no experience with suppressors, but am learning as much as I can. The most important considerations for me in order: (1) objective suppression (quiet), (2) gas blow back, (3) length, (4) weight.

Based on my readings I'm considered the Rugged Sub 9 or YHM R9. I've read too many threads at this point and would love to get specific feedback based on the Nexus (or Scorpion) and the order of what's important to me. Do y'all mind helping out?

Need to get new optic for Nexus. Looking at 512c, seems like a pretty big optic. Is it to big / look goofy on scorpion/Nexus? Previously had a PA 1x microprism on it.
