How have I never had this flavor?! There's a sweet, lightly citrus scent which carries onto the flavor perfectly. Is it pineapple? Grapefruit? A mix of the two?! Its own unique mystery fruit that lives only on the Monster labs?!
I don't know but what I do know is that this flavor is perfection and will now be on regular rotation in my fridge!
Very good flavor and very big regret not buying more than 1 can found it randomly in some store 4-5 months ago, i didnt notice pop up again. Had it today good clean taste. Ive tried it from those big plastic bottles before which pops up once in a while along with the mucho mango one.
Tastes mostly of Raspberry and then Lemon and is a zero sugar.
The sweetener is very noticeable imo rven though the raspberry taste is somewhat strong but the aftertaste you really notice the sweetener/metallic like taste.
It doesnt taste similar to a regular 7up at all despite the lemon/lime in it due to the strong raspberry.
Very good melon cream soda tastes as good as mixing a good vanilla ice scoop with a green melon ramune. Also a really good and enticing looking can like most japanese candy/soda products.
...I do love me some passion fruit, ripe and picked straight off the tree while a cool Hawaiian island breeze blows through the leaves. It's a flavor that can't be beat!
Unfortunately, this flavor of Monster Energy is nowhere near it. The flavor is off-putting from the first sip, like you've mistakenly taken a swig off your auntie’s favorite Glade plug-in. Nope, that's the Ultra Wild Passion you're tasting. I will reluctantly give it credit for the flavor masking the fake sugar aftertaste but that's hardly a win.
This one, for me, is a definite thumbs-down. It's a pretty can that's best left on the shelf.
...okay, lemme start by saying:
I don't like fake strawberry flavor.
I don't like fake banana flavor.
...now that those two factoids are out of the way I just wanna say:
I loved this! The strawberry flavoring was subtle, it mostly just had a faint berriness to it with a solid, bold banana punch to it.
The "Banana Punch" was also my signature finisher during my brief stint in the WWF.
But I digress. This flavor of Ghost was surprisingly tasty with an almost juice-like consistency though let's be clear, there's NO JUICE in it so you know what THAT means?! Yeah, it's not good for you, I mean, at least as far as "juice" goes. But don't let that dissuade you, this is a solid flavor from Ghost and one I can highly recommend!
EDIT: It's been correctly pointed out to me that this flavor is "strawberry & mango" not "strawberry & banana". I see where I went wrong there. However, while I stand by my original opinion that I don't like fake banana I apparently do like fake mango.
Slightly artificial aftertaste but otherwise quite nice.
I'd give it like 3 mooses out of 5.
Not bad.
