I really wanted these two tracks to be on a longer album with songs like Streetlight, Elisa in Summer Night, Something's Missing, 8 pm on a thursday etc. But even so, Midnight June Room and Shimmer rank among Damian's top 10 songs. Midnight June Room might actually be the best song in his entire discography. It makes me sad that this album isn't getting the attention it deserves.

Lots of great Black Metal and adjacent bands on the lineup. I’m in Chicago for the weekend and a friend couldn’t make it so I have an extra pass for both days. Face value if anyone is interested.

EDIT: 10/3 and 10/4 NOT 10/2 my bad
