If this comes off as too nosy I’m sorry! I’m just watching the newest mukbang and was wondering if they mentioned anywhere I might have missed or something.

Basically did they always plan to hard launch after they came back or was it a play it by ear thing (like maybe they do maybe they don’t) or did they make the decision after they realized we grew up and could handle it lol?

We were both just deep in that Tumblr era like.. THE TUMBLR ERA you know? emo/pop punk stuff, Fall Out Boy, MCR, Panic!, lyric posts, reblogs, all of it. I remember we didn’t even properly “meet” at first, it was just constantly seeing each other on the dash because we had mutuals and similar posts.

The first time we actually spoke properly was kind of random. I saw him reblog Dan and Phil stuff one day and I messaged him like “wait you watch them too?” because I was obsessed at the time. He literally replied like “oh my god you do too??” and that was it 😭 that’s actually what made us start talking properly. Like Dan and Phil + emo music was our whole overlap.

After that it was just messaging on Tumblr for a bit, then we moved to Skype like everyone did back then. It was never like “we’re doing long distance now” officially… it just slowly turned into that because we were talking all the time and neither of us really stopped.

Then it just evolved over the years: Skype → Snapchat → Instagram → WhatsApp

We stayed long distance for years. It was very on and off, like we’d be super close for months, then life would happen and we’d drift, and then one of us would randomly reach out again and it would just pick up like no time passed.

Dan and Phil honestly feel like a weird important part of it in hindsight because that’s what made it feel normal to even have this internet friend in another country that you talk to all the time. It didn’t feel strange back then, it just felt like Tumblr life.

We eventually started meeting up in person, did the whole US/UK flights thing, figuring out money/time/schedules, all that messy real life stuff Tumblr doesn’t prepare you for.

We got married when I was 24.

It still feels a bit unreal thinking it started with Tumblr posts, emo music, and me randomly messaging him about Dan and Phil 😭 anyways the two gay guys loved Dan and Phil who would’ve thought now we’re going together finally to the hard launch tour and we somehow got gold can’t wait to explain to these two how the fuck this happened

I’m kinda sad just bc I had no funds to get an LA ticket and when I did it sold out. But this would’ve been my first show so I have zero prior experience in their past tours. Have they added more dates before? Or should I just try my luck in a different location. I was going to try LA as it’s my second closest city and I have a friend there who would’ve gone with me. San Francisco is an option atm but that’s out of the way for both of us. Not that I NEED their schedule to revolve around me but have they ever in the past added extra tour dates? And if not is there a non invasive allowed way to request they consider? Thanks in advance!

hellooo! I know I'm a little late to the party, but I was wanting to go to the Atlanta, GA show and get gold ticket(s) to meet D&P!

On Ticketmaster, I don't see any tickets labeled "gold," nor "silver." Does this mean they're sold out? I figured they would sell out super fast BUT I see some tickets that are priced $251.95, which is pretty close to the £175 that the gold tickets are supposed to cost.

I see the heads-up about posting about the hard launch tour, but I've read around and haven't seen any answers to my question yet as everyone already seems to know how Ticketmaster works 😅 my bad if this goes against guidelines! I've already posted a comment in the Atlanta thread a few hours ago, but I haven't gotten any replies yet and I wanted to buy the tickets soon.

I know they moved into the house before it was completely finished but that was what, five years ago? I don't know if the house was a new build or it was an older home that they renovated, but having a flooded bathroom and bedroom only a few years in seems crazy (and I think the flooding was an accidental finding?). They also had to exterminate earlier this year, a drawer in the kitchen is already broken (as pointed out in the baking video), and one of the steps of the floating staircase is loose (there is a clip of Phil going down the stairs and one of the top steps is not secure). Is this just shoddy construction? Or a (years-long) string of bad luck?

I know home ownership comes with a new set of challenges compared to renting, but this seems above and beyond the norm.

THE TIME HAS COME

I’m making a custom monster high doll based off of Dan and Phil/ the phandom (mostly the hard launch era but also so elements of other eras) to bring with me to the hard launch tour but I’m not sure what I want to base her off of! any thoughts would be great thx :)
