why was Dooku so weak against Anakin's kicks? or was he...

He takes a boot to the face in the clone wars film and then I think to the chest in ROTS. I understand once but you think after the first time he would've learned from it and developed some defenses at reading it, especially since Anakin choreographs the hell out of his kick in ROTS since he jumps and chambers his right knee up before leap-kicking with his left-foot for impact.

This seems to turn the tide in BOTH fights giving Anakin the high ground and momentum and in both cases it happens when Dooku threatens someone Anakin cares for (Ahsoka in CW, Kenobi in ROTS) so one might think of it as a 'darkside kick' which was unusually fast and powerful, fueled by anger?

I wonder if maybe Dooku would normally just use the force to guide unarmed attacks away from himself or let them impact a force-shield so he doesn't bother to predict them (they're not as inherently dangerous like a lightsaber) or dodge them, but a force-propelled kick which can't be stopped by a force-shield would be the achilles heel (so to speak) against such a strategy.

Still doesn't explain why it happened twice though... the 1st sucker-kick I understand could have happened based on Dooku being startled, but the second one...

Do you figure Sheev told him to take that kick on purpose as part of the whole "throw the fight" strategy? A kick is the sort of thing you could survive, and probably milk to make it look worse than it actually was. That would also explain why he took it on the chest instead of the chin the 2nd time around - easier to tank that without becoming disoriented.

And now I present to you: my Battle Damaged Darth Vader collection!

u/SWFT93 — 1 day ago

I just thought of this witty meme of Vader and R2-D2

Vader: Turn the star ship under the gorge and straight towards the valley.

R2-D2: Im sorry, ill go around the gorge rather.

Vader: it is my instructions R2, follow my orders!

R2-D2: Really! haha, your orders dont always work!

Vader: How can u say that, how dare you!

R2-D2: How can I? last time you ordered me to wait and guess what happened! u got cooked!

Vader: ....

Vader: I hate u.

R2-D2: Plz dont make me say I have the high ground!! (goes around the gorge)

Wc3 rpg dream

I haven't been working on anything for ages. My current project was mostly showing off some ai and gameplay, that's why it's Darth Vader vs ai Goku...

I got really good at the editor and I really want to make a CRAZY rpg for Wc3, but I also want to make something that others would be interested in. It's a wasted talent, and I can put this stuff together really quick now.

I have two options I landed on now -

1 - Mount and Blade style co-op with similar army building but it would have less food limit with a warcraft 3 fantasy touch to all the characters. Kind of like combining WoW with Mount and Blade co-op. This could also have enemies teams playing co-op also.

2 - Star Wars Knights of the old Republic style co-op but with more interactive combat. You will be able to purchase a space craft to travel to different planets with enhanced aerial combat. Unlike the original KotoR, you will have to fly all the way to the other planets - not a cutscene. Enemies will always be flying their own ships around in open space and you will be able to upgrade your own as you go. The space feeling is easy to make feel immersive too. I will definitely make a quick clip of the space combat I have in mind if this interests people.

Take a vote and I might feel inspired to make you something crazy!

Darth Vader ANH build

Just finished my second install! 89sabers Vader ANH, proffie 3.9, with removable crystal chassis designed my Rich at LSMSabers. I can’t recommend him enough. Here’s a link to his store.

https:// www.etsy.com/shop/LSMSabers

I saw someone post a graflex crystal chamber from him and had to reach out and check out more of his stuff. This chassis was absolutely amazing to work with. As I said, this is just my second install, so I barely know what I’m doing.

Rich helped out through the process, but his chassis was so well designed and thought out, that most things are obvious. Awesome hidden channels for wire management, notches cutout where you need them, little channels already built it.

Definitely check him out if you’re in the market. Never thought I’d be building a proffie crystal reveal saber. Love this hobby. Thanks, Rich, and everyone else on here who help to keep it all exciting.
