If I had a dollar for every time a Republican talked about Nancy Pelosi's stock trades, I might be able to afford their tariffs.

I graphed every calamity class’ dps throughout progression

Hog Wild update happened around old duke so any inaccurate damage numbers before then are at fault of the brainstorm update

edit: since some of you don’t understand how to make assumptions, the x axis is the amount of bosses defeated, the y axis is dps, the thick vertical lines represent the bosses I deemed as “major progress points” those being wall of flesh and moon lord. The way I got these numbers is by playing the game and using builds that would be used against the upcoming boss, and damage numbers go down because they just do that sometimes and I wanted to try and not use weapons for more than one boss.

Effect of Making a Chart Worse

I ran the numbers and unfortunately the data confirms that every chart becomes more convincing the moment you ruin it for everyone who understands charts.

"AI for the Good of All"?

A study of Brazil's national AI plan finds that the phrase "for the good of all" masks a structural problem: AI algorithms are built to process people at scale, not as individuals, making the promise of equal benefit harder to deliver than the policy suggests.

Can you see the colors?

Maybe it's just me, but my eyes are really struggling to correspond the dots to the lines. Everything feels like it's flashing over the black background.
