Deezer can't seem to switch between WiFi and network?
I don't know what's happened in the last few months but it seems like if I'm using wifi, and then leave my house, I'm stuck in a constant buffering loop. Does anyone else experience this?

It really pains me to say it, as a long time user. I want to support a smaller company and love the audio quality, the Flow algorithm.
But the quality of the Android application is just not acceptable. Using chromecast on any device works like a dice roll. App constantly disconnects and can't be used reliably for playback.
Android Auto support is genuinely terrible. I'm constantly forced to manipulate my phone while driving because the app will suddenly stop working and go blank on my car. Literally have to force stop the app at least once every drive, usually more..
The worst issue by far though, again while using Android Auto, is the needless buffering on downloaded music. If I play only the downloaded music it seems to usually work, but if I am using flow or start a radio from a song, 9/10 it "buffers" on music which is already downloaded?!
I've used Deezer on my iPhone as well and the experience is so much better that it's a joke. Clearly, the company has no priority for their Android app and it really shows. They refuse to support Android properly, and so after years of being a customer and hoping it'll get better, I'm done.
My post was taken down for security reasons so I got proper permission this time to just show case the app so please dont ask to features that may suggest piracy or the github link to the project
I made an alternative Deezer client for android because I'm a sucker for Material 3 Expressive
Basically it is a fork of a local music player project called pixelplayer, I stripped out those and connected in the deezer api.
this currently supports:
oh yeah any logo designers out there?
>I do not condone any sort of piracy I made this project just for my pure self satisfaction

I wish I had known about this app sooner! I habe heard more new artists (new to me, anyway) in the last two days than I have in the previous three years with Spotify!
Just wanted to say, I love it!
So until tonight I had the version in picture. Then when I used the app again it turned out back to the old flat line and all the interface went back as well ??
I'm bumed because the new version was so nice on Android Auto since you needed only a single button push to add a favorite but now that it's back on the previous display you need to push 2 buttons which is annoying while driving.
Say I want to listen to 10 random songs in a specific order, I can only do that if I add them in reverse order using queue next. I can't use the add to queue function, since it puts the entire playlist in queue so I would need to listen to 200 songs first before I reach the songs i want to. WTF is this, I moved from spotify because of their AI bullshit and now I have to deal with the worst music player possible.
I asked my friend who uses Spotify and he said it's available on their does anyone know why or if I need to chage a setting or something?
Is there a way that I can compare which songs are shared by two playlists? Or see which songs are on the one Playlist, and not the other? I've been trying to find a way to export my playlists as text, in order to do so, but can't seem to get it done
Well I just got a FIIO KA11 so I could plug my Shure 425 to my iPhone and enjoy Deezers lossless quality.
And found out that, once again, Apple has been playing their dirty tricks to make you default to their overpriced products.
Apparently the OS changes sample rate of the audio before sending it out via USB.
Of course if you want bit perfect, you have to use Apple Music.
ffs
My last post about the idea got taken down for "security" reasons. So I'm not gonna publish any download links or anything just purely showing off lol
I did fork the Pixelplayer project for the UI
(It's super fast and responsive)
Alright my friends - I have found the culprit of Flow “stopping” after a limited number of songs (iOS users seem to be the only ones affected for MONTHS with no solution).
Deezer Flow is “endless” unless you click on an artist name and go view their page. Once you do that, Flow will stop generating new tracks until you start a new Flow. However, if you start a Flow and do not click on an artist to view their profile, the Flow is truly endless. I have tested this across many decivces and Flow moods/genres. I assume most of you are like me and enjoy clicking into an artist profile when using flow. Go ahead and test it out by not clicking an artist, and I bet you will have the same results as me - a truly endless Flow.
I am not a tech wizard by any means, but I assume when you view an artist profile of a currently playing song inside of a Flow, this corrupts the data somehow and prevents new tracks from loading in. If anyone else can confirm this, that would be great. But I hope this post gets shown to the right people at Deezer so they can implement a fix.
I for one LOVE to view an artist profile when I find a song I like from an unknown artist in Flow to discover more about them (that is the whole point of Flow after all). Knowing this, I assume this can be an easy fix for the developers to ensure the Flow does not get disrupted when viewing an artist profile. I really hope this is helpful for users and the Deezer team to once and for all fix Flow for iOS users.
If you guys can help me tag the Deezer team that would be great as I do not know who would be best suited to escalate this. I already posted this on the official Deezer forums, but figured I would post here for added visibility.

every time i open deezer desktop i have this popup... does anyone know how to disable it?

Salut.
Deezer vient de m'ajouter une fonction de partage universel de playlist.
Cela permet de partager des playlists vers d'autres services comme Spotify ou autres.
Pratique.
It's Friday and time to share the hidden gems you found this week with others.
Feel free to include Deezer song links to the songs!
basically what the title says if enough ppl are looking for one I might make one that has a material 3 expressive design..... just a pure native android client
I do have experience with making clients as I already have made 2 desktop clients before here
