Is Bomb Rush Cyberfunk the only game that's kind of like this?

I'm looking for games similar to Denshattack and the only one I can think of (that I can play anyway) is Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

I can't play Jet Set Radio on current gen consoles (not until the remake/reboot comes out), and I suppose there's Crazy Taxi but the later rerelease version removed the licensed music tracks.

I'm not sure Hi-Fi Rush counts either.

I loved the Initial D references at Gunma

I don't know if I missed others Initial D references but I loved seeing them in the game :)

Achievements not working

Hey !

I've been absolutely loving the game, and have been trying to go for the 100% right now, but even though i've beat the game, steam wont give the achievements for chapter 8 and 9. I've also visited all the Onsens and it's not giving me that achievement either. Im worried that if i keep 100%-ing it it wont give me any further achievements. Anybody knows how to fix this ?

Update : As u/S-Achroma and u/ultran698 suggested, i refought the bosses from chapter 8 and 9, and this time it gave me the achievement !

Ngl, only bought it for the soundtrack... but

It's fucking good.

So genuinely, I bought it because the soundtrack is a bunch of bangers and I wanted to support the devs for that alone. I have information processing issues so I did not think I'd ever have a chance of actually liking playing the game, too much happens on the screen at once.

But I figured, might as well fucking try it anyway because yeah, I spent the money right?

I'm not good at it, I'm really not. But I am a stubborn thing. Chances of getting golds on every level? 0 (although the fact you don't have to get gold all at once, but can do the consitutent parts one at a time is really fucking generous, even if it makes it look like the scoring rules are fucking brutal on the surface level).

But damn if I won't manage atleast no-crash boss clears on every fucking boss. (The amount of times I died to the fucking rocker during the track changes where there's fire behind the barriers and the fire kills you oh my fucking god)

I will manage that much, and y'know what? I have one gold medal, and that's good enough for me lol.

Also I knew, intellectually, that muti-track drifting was a thing, I heard someone mention it, but I didn't know anything about it other than it's introduced really late in the game.

Then my ass accidentally fumbles into it and I get distracted for like 30 mins on the rockabilly's race track trying to figure out exactly what I did and now I guess I'm just multidrifting for the rest of the game lol (also it's got a funny as fuck graphical bug sometimes where you're still visually mutidrifting when you aren't, so just half the train is sticking off the side for a while).

Basically, fuck, it's good, most games I get annoyed when I suck ass at them, this game I find that isn't happening, despite the hundreds of times I suffer from "drift when jump/jump when drift"-itus and egads my brain cannot process information fast enough to send signals for left or right so sometimes I'll just run right into a stop sign I had a full like two seconds to process and avoid like a deer in headlights.

And I think a lot of us will relate when I say: Yes dan, we godamn know they did!

Wondering about purchase

I was going to pre order Elden ring for the switch two, but got the demo for denshattack cuz it seemed like a cool game. Is this game as good (or better!) than Elden ring
In any case I’ll probably buy both eventually.

I fucking love this game

Just beat it, gold medaled every stage. No spoilers but goddamn. What a solid masterpiece with the most fantastic climax that brought back the same feelings of sheer indomitable will as watching Gurren Lagann for the first time. Pure, unadulterated fun and euphoria. I love Denshattack.
We are all Denshattack.

It's so rare that a game comes along that manages to nail EVERY aspect. Incredible gameplay, incredible art style, incredible soundtrack, incredible characters and writing. It hits EVERYTHING.
Superb.

This is my game of the year
2026, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32.......
until Denshattack 2 comes out.

Cool reward for all gold medals!

Apparently when you get all gold medals you >!unlock a train called "Morzilla Skater"!< as well as >!a new world map soundtrack that's a variation of the normal one with lyrics in multiple languages. Sounds pretty kickass.!<

This game is amazing, one of my favorites of 2026 so far!

My hopes and dreams for DLC and Sequels

I just want more of this in my life, this game has been such a feel good joy. People have been throwing around the term Hope Core a lot lately and this game is absolutely that. So much so that I have hopes and dreams for dlc and sequels, so here is a rough pitch:

DLC - Stadium Attack:

This hypothetical DLC would deal with the aftermath of the final fights, all the gang leaders are in agreement that they need to bring Denshattack to the masses to reunite everyone after the domes fell, so to enact their idea first is just more denshattack.

Each region will get a new miscellaneous track, be it a normal track, a race, a trick park, etc. Once each of those are complete a Stadium Attack will open up in each region. This will a new track type. It'll work like a trick park but in front of a crowd of people in a stadium, and each of these you'll be rematching against that regions gang leader and their underlings. Stadium Attacks won't be just about score but also battling off the opponents and winning over the crowd.

After all the Stadium Attacks are finished you get a final feel good cutscene that Japan is healing and reunited, but a mysterious stranger approaches and challenges you to a 1v1 race in the ruins of the Marido facility in the north. After beating them they reveal they are a denshattack gang leader from Europe and explain that denshattack has spread all over the globe, they then invite you to try and beat the Europe gangs, thereby teasing the sequel.

The sequel would be denshattack across europe, but a new corporate mascot shows up, is it connected to Marido?
