Restaurant FOH jobs?

Hello! I have about 10 years of experience in front of house restaurant work (hosting, serving, some bartending) and I recently moved here with my partner, so looking for a new job!

I’m not seeing many postings for servers in Denver and I’m wondering if that’s more of a timing issue, or if the industry is down here or if these positions are filled via word of mouth? Would also appreciate if anyone has any leads for restaurants hiring that may not having postings up yet. Thanks!

Hello Denver! Would anyone from the Denver metro area or surrounding areas need a ride to the Omaha metro area or surrounding areas in the next day or two?

I have a rideshare company local to Omaha, and we’ve got a trip out to your area coming up tomorrow! We’re just checking your area to see if anyone needs a ride back to this area since we’ll be out there anyway. I can provide more details if you reach out to me.
Thanks

Any on the job training opportunity’s/ schooling for low income?

I’ve been interested in getting on the job training for medical professions like sterile processing tech or surgical tech/ radiology tech. I always here about people getting lucky with their employers paying them to go to school or training on the job due to shortages in the workforce. I have been looking and looking but with each search and website browsing it leads me to dead ends/ doesn’t exist anymore. I’ve been interested for a while now but life circumstances kept me from going to college. Now I just feel stuck.

Little brother coming to Denver/Aurora for the summer — any temp job ideas or things he should avoid?

My little brother is thinking about spending the summer out here in the Denver/Aurora area with me before he starts his senior year. He is from a tiny town in the Texas Panhandle, so this would be his first time working in a big city, and I’m trying to help him land somewhere decent instead of getting stuck in some sketchy “summer job” situation.

Quick rundown on him:

  • 17, starting senior year in the fall
  • Only needs summer/temporary work (June–August)
  • Just graduated with his associate’s degree early (I’m very proud of him)
  • Has his FAA Part 107 drone license and Texas driver's license
  • CPR certified
  • Knows his way around CAD and 3D printing from robotics
  • He’ll be staying with me in Aurora/Centennial so housing or car is not an issue.

Any ideas as to what places might hire teens where he can utilize his skills?

He’s a good kid. He's smart, responsible, and just trying to make the most of his summer. I just want to make sure he doesn’t get taken advantage of or end up somewhere weird.

Any tips or warnings are super appreciated.

Affordable Pet Sitter / House Sitter Available in Denver :D

Hi everyone!
I’m a local student and huge animal lover looking to pick up some small pet-sitting and house-sitting gigs around Denver. Because I’m a student looking to help out the community and get more experience, I’m offering very affordable, neighborly rates (definitely lower than standard commercial boarding or apps like Rover).
What I can help with:
In-home overnight sitting (keeping your pets safe, fed, and comfortable in their own home)
Daytime house sitting & drop-in visits
Dog walking and playtime
I am highly responsible, attentive, and ready to treat your pets like family. Whether you are planning a weekend trip or just need someone to drop by during the day while you're at work, I’d love to help out!

Part-Time Party Bus Cleaner - South Denver

HIRING A PART TIME CLEANING CREW FOR WELL KNOWN PARTY BUS COMPANY
START ASAP
MAKE $200 PER WEEK

Looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner to help clean 6-8 party buses on a regular basis. This job is part time (15 hours or less) and an in-person job that requires a reliable vehicle to get to our South Denver office.

The cleaning team would sweep/mop,
sanitize the seats and railings, take out the trash, clean the windows, and stock items. Each bus takes approximately 20-30 mins to clean, so 6 buses can be completed in 2 hours. We pay $12 per bus cleaned (20 mins of work) but the math comes out to approximately $25 per hour.

Ideally this job would be done in the mornings anytime between 6:00am-12:00pm, before it gets hot and the buses go out to Red Rocks around 3pm. You would set your own schedule and clock in/out when at work. Having a reliable and working cell phone is a mandatory requirement for viewing our team scheduling app.

Working days may vary based on gigs/events, but Wednesday-Sunday would be pretty consistent. Weekends are our busiest days in the summer, so we need consistent help every Thursday, Fri, Sat, Sun. The job does require someone who likes to move/be outside. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.

If you are interested please email info@elevaterides.com. Serious inquiries only. Thanks!

Helpful certifications?

I'm still unemployed and looking, starting to get desperate (like a lot of other people on this sub 😭) and need to take a new approach.

Do you know of any certs that are worth pursuing to help standout? I've been looking at Hubspot, most of those are free, and am going to start there.

My degree is in Advertising and P.R. so marketing, or martech would be of interest, or something like cyber security.

I just want to get my foot in the door somewhere and go from there!

Really need help

I got let go on the 30th from a new job after advocating for clients to the wrong person.

I have experience in non profit, case management , being a teaching assistant in an elementary school for special education, retail management, sales… I’m a very hard worker.

my lease is up on the 29th. the apartment complex already is re-leasing my unit. I don’t have a cushion financially and waiting for unemployment to process.

I don’t know what to do—please help with places you know that are hiring. I was terminated only for doing the right thing above self preservation, which was admittedly a mistake.

I don’t even know how to handle updating my resume, if I should at all. I only worked at this new place for a little over a month. thank you in advance for any and all tips and job leads

[HIRING] Production Technician – $20–$24/hr + Shift Differential | Multiple Shifts | Denver, CO

Looking for stable, hands-on manufacturing work in Denver with room to grow? This one's worth a look.

We're hiring Production Technicians for a growing advanced manufacturing facility in the Denver area. Multiple shifts available, pay starts at $20/hr and goes up to $24/hr depending on experience — plus a shift differential on top of that.

No degree required. If you're mechanically inclined, reliable, and ready to work, you can build a real career here.

---

**Available Shifts:**

- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

**Pay: $20–$24/hr DOE + shift differential**

---

**What the job looks like day-to-day:**

- Operating manual and semi-automated production equipment

- Starting up, monitoring, and shutting down production processes

- Running in-process quality checks to make sure output meets standards

- Troubleshooting basic equipment or process issues as they come up

- Following preventative maintenance procedures

- Moving materials safely using forklifts and industrial equipment

- Tracking inventory and keeping your workspace clean and organized

---

**What they're looking for:**

- High school diploma or equivalent

- 1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience (preferred, not required)

- Forklift experience is a plus

- Mechanically comfortable — you like figuring out how things work

- Detail-oriented and able to follow processes consistently

- A team player who communicates well and shows up

**Heads up on the environment:** This is real manufacturing work. You'll be lifting up to 60 lbs, working in conditions that can be hot, cold, dusty, or wet, and occasionally climbing stairs or ladders. If that sounds fine to you, great — if not, this probably isn't the right fit.

---

**Why this one is worth your time:**

- $20–$24/hr + shift differential — transparent pay, no surprises

- Hands-on training — they'll get you up to speed

- Real advancement opportunities in a growing facility

- Stable, team-oriented culture

Looking for kind of a specific schedule

Moved to Denver recently, and stuck without childcare for my 4 year old until August.

I really need to start working before then, but I'm only available when my co-parent is off/not sleeping before his shift. Those hours are 9 am to 3 pm. I'd also consider working for a place that has childcare, I think I've heard that some gyms do this?

Also open to any recommendations for an in-home daycare 😁
