All deodorant makes me smell worse

I stopped using deodorant for a few years bc after I had kids deodorant just made me smell awful! So for a few years I used rubbing alcohol and milk of magnesia instead .. it’s an annoying process and very inconvenient so I stopped.

Tried natural deodorants .. regular deodorants.. nothing works. I started using carpe a few years ago and it’s the best that works most of the time but it’s so pricey. Is there a carpe dupe? I saw on here degree 72 hour has the same active ingredient so I tried them.. nope makes me smell awful!

First of all why???!? Why does this happen?

Second. Does anyone have a good alternative that works as well?

(Ive tried men and woman’s deodorant, deodorant alone, deodorant and antiperspirant all does the same to me)

Edit to fix secret 72 hour to degree**

I sweat so much!

(F24) New York City has been sooooo hot lately with temperatures in the 90s and even 100s !! My main areas I sweat is my back and my underarms. I know sweating is normal because it’s your bodies response to cooling down but is there anything that could help me sweat alittle less or for my underarm sweat not to stink. I was using doves deodorant spray for a while and it was working on controlling the smell but I think my pits have gotten used to it so yesterday I bought Axe deodorant. Mens deodorant tends to be stronger and so far it’s been working. I heard drinking chlorophyll might help.

Any thoughts or recs ?

Looking for a deodorant that won't clash with Bleu de Chanel

I'm planning to wear Bleu de Chanel (likely EDP) as my daily fragrance and I'm looking for an antiperspirant/deodorant that won't clash with it.

Among these options, which would you recommend and why?

Nivea Men Sensitive Protect

Nivea Men Silver Protect

Nivea Men Fresh Power / Fresh Active

Nivea Men Cool Kick

Nivea Men Deep Black Carbon

Dove Men+Care Clean Comfort

Chemist at Play Underarm Roll-On

Minimalist Underarm Roll-On

Mitchum Unscented Antiperspirant

Open to suggestions

My priorities are:

Good sweat protection

Minimal scent so it doesn't interfere with Bleu de Chanel.

Long-lasting odor control.

Suitable for daily use.

What is the most effective deo you've used for heavy sweating?

I sweat a lot specially when the weather is hot or when I'm outside for a while. Ive tried a few deodorants, but some dont seem to last very long and I dont know what to do

For those of you who also sweat a lot, what deodorant has worked best for you? Im looking for recommendations that help with both sweat and odor. Please be nice to me 🫶

Can someone tell carpe to stop?

I actually use it and their email ads are honestly beyond embarrassing. Am I the only one who is almost turned off from using them due to their super annoying emails?!?

And yes, I can unsubscribe.. but knowing about deals is helpful.. but having my intelligence mocked is maybe enough for me to unsubscribe.

carpe review

i tried carpe after the over saturation of ads on tiktok and its been working great and actually helped my sweat not smell bad but i feel it runs out super quick for being 15-25$

like i just got a new container two weeks ago and i already used the whole thing... i work outside and will apply it every day like deodorant is usually used

has anyone else had this issue?

Need help

I need a deodorant that doesn't ball up and leave little balls of deodorant in my sheets. I put deodorant on after I shower before bed. Then, I wake up and have hard deodorant balls in my sheets.

M21 allergies to deodorant, recs please!!!

need a deodorant suggestion please!!!

i had a brain injury and i lost my sense of smell. my pcp is about 90% certain that i am allergic to something in most of the more mainstream deodorants, but we don't know what. i just lost my health insurance so i can't go to the allergist until around october-ish to find out exactly what ingredient, all i know is that the gel deodorants are the ones that typically make me react worse (and are 10x more painful to use because of it).

apparently any of the ones i've tried just don't work, i smell awful according to my mom, but i have no idea because i can't smell anything at all after my injury. the way she says it makes me feel really terrible about it, but i literally cannot find a deodorant that actually works that i'm not allergic to, and it's extremely embarassing having to go to the store with her so she can pick one for me since i can't smell them.

i want to avoid shopping online or buying one that's absurdly expensive because 1) i'm about to go on a road trip next week and 2) i'm too broke to continuously buy expensive deodorants, so if there's any that don't smell awful, work, and preferrably will last through some heat exposure and through some outdoor work (i ride horses for a good portion of my days every week) i would appreciate it so much

Deodorant recommendations

I have been using Dr.Sasquatch Fresh Falls deodorant, but the way it blends with my natural scent makes it a very musty/unique smell, what are stronger or better ones for this case?

Good Gel Deodorant?

Hello,

I currently use a gel deodorant and I like them because they don't stain my shirts. However, the one I use says it lasts 72 hours which is a lie. It smells nice but the actual deodorant doesn't last. Does anyone know a good gel one?

My go-to deodorant doesn't exist anymore and I stink otherwise. What do I do?

For years I've been using the Rexona powder dry stick deodorant. It smelled great on me and it never made me smell bad. I moved countries and can't find this deodorant in stores or online.

I have tried other deodorants by Rexona, some by Dove, they didn't work. Now I have a 0% aluminum roll on from Nivea and I've also tried the Wild deodorants. Both worked well at first, but after a few days of only using these, I noticed that I started to sweat more and stink just after a couple hours. If I use the Rexona powder dry deo a few days in between, it's fine again. Does anyone know why? Or any deodorant recommendations if you had similar problems?

I restock on the rexona deo every time I go back to my home country, but it's expensive and I'm mostly worried that they will discontinue it over there at some point.

Carpe Deodorant Scam

I gave Carpe a try after watching a compelling ad online. I placed an order, received the product, didn’t like it all, and tried to cancel the subscription, and get a refund, all which had not been accomplished after several emails. DO NOT PURCHASE CARPE DEODERANT!!! Their business practices are shameful and I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau.

Best deodorants/ antiperspirants for teenage boy

What deodorants or antiperspirants would you recommend for a really sweaty teenage boy? I sometimes have problems with strong armpit odor during the day and I need something that can completely block or get rid of the smell for a minimum of 6 hours so it lasts until school ends.

Are there specific brands, sticks, or sprays that work best for this? Any extra hygiene tips to make the protection last longer would also be appreciated.

Also I currently use L'Oreal Men Expert thermic resist ball antiperspirant
