I used to play D1 back in 2016-2017, it was the best gaming experience i had. Then i went to uni, trained to be a doctor, got married, life happened. I tried destiny 2 the past month but it was frustrating when i got to know they deleted the whole campaign, i felt so lost in D2. Since D1 is not available on pc im thinking abt getting a ps5 just to play this. My old console is long gone. Lets gooooooo

I've started playing through Destiny again on my 360, mostly to grab a few achievements I'm still missing.
I'd bought the Taken King expansion before the 360 Store was closed down, unlocked the new Hunter subclass back then, but returning to the game now and I get an error message regarding any of the exotic class items.
Each of them states 'Requires Taken King Collectors Edition'. I was unaware that the 360 had a Collectors Edition available for it.
Is this a known error, is there any way to gain/unlock these Exotic Class items in 360 D1 still at all?

Back for almost 2 months now after 9+ years away, and hitting it hard.
So much stuff in my Vault has sentimental value, and I’m getting things now that are really decent, and that I want to keep… I have a lot of Exotics in my Vault (both weapons and armor) that I could get rid of because I can pull them from the kiosks, yeah, sure, but the problem with that is that the items in my Vault are fully upgraded, so that’d suck to just trash them. I mean, what do I need a Jade Rabbit for? I havent had a need for it since coming back. But other things like Gjally, Black Spindle, Sleeper Simulant, Touch of Malice, the 3 exotic swords… those are different. I remember getting every one of those, and I use them regularly, so I can’t trash them. But still…I’d rather have a god roll Legendary that is irreplaceable than something I can just pull from the exotic kiosk. Right?
I don’t know. I get that even if Vault space were doubled that we’d all fill it up just the same, but I’m really struggling with some hard choices atm
Relatively new to the game and I’m going for 400 light, I have all 385+ legendary equipment except for a 380 light artifact I got from Tyra, it’s the only thing holding me back and I just can’t seem to get new ones

I've been getting into destiny 1 for the first time since highschool, and I've really been enjoying the story. I never got past level 25 originally, and I'm going through again now

It's been an absolute blast and I'd love to play with people who want to do old raids content etc. I'm not really interested in min maxxing, just enjoying the world, lore and maybe grinding some guns. Recently I made a new account and started fresh for the member berries. It's been great so far but now im at a stall. I finished Taken King and am level 40, but my light level is still way too low to do rise of iron. I really just want to run some strikes, but player population in the low level strike Playlist is nonexistent. Is there anything I can do to play with people or increase LL fast? I know lfg is a thing but I can only play for short bursts and really don't want to have to lfg every time.
Edit: although theres no population in thr taken strike Playlist, ive found decent population in the Legacy strike playlist!! I guess thats where I'll be!
Edit 2: a few more things that have helped me a lot: 350 exotic armor from xur. 250 husk of the pit that dropped which levels into 300 eidolon ally. Save up legendary marks from daily public event and high value target quest line to get 380 ghost from ikora. Finish rise of iron campaign to get 340 exotic heavy. Finish Nova Mortis quest for 370 exotic heavy.
I’ve played with a couple absolute units from LFG and seen some crazy stuff happen and was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on how to replicate them.
First one was a guy named “Rafaellos” on HM VOG. After completing oracles at Atheon he seemed to rush up to Atheons feet a put (presumably) a weapons of light bubble. He then jumped out of the bubble and shot Atheon in the crit spot with what appeared to be a shotgun and melted a good chunk of his health almost immediately. It was the fastest one phase Atheon I’ve ever seen and he was dead within 10 seconds.
Second one, didn’t quite catch his name as he seemed to do the breach and get the checkpoint then leave. Shadow theif strike, just as you enter the temple of Crota there’s a window that overlooks a ledge with a dead ghost on it. He breached through the wall and within a minute or so I was being transported to the room with the teleporter the almost immediately transported to the room with the siva tank on the ceiling.
I’ve been able to find no public record of these but they seem to being infinitely beneficial to know, if anyone has any insight I’d love to learn!
I just discovered you can in fact track your current grimoire score in 2026. Go to this website https://destinytracker.com/destiny/trials and put in your username and the respective console that you play on. Once you’ve done that press enter and then tap the 3 lines to the right of the username, scroll down to grimoire. And boom updated grimoire scores and tracking.
It really helped me when I was collecting the calcified fragments because I completely forgot which ones I had collected
