So last night i finished the main campaign by killing the black heart at the garden and was given the pulse rifle by the stranger....and immediately i wondered what if im the stranger from the future ?? Cause so far i have no explanation who she is and why she chose me to lead this campaign...let me know if my hypothesis has any base or if in the coming years of destiny 1/2 the stranger was explained , but plz no spoilers !!! This weapon is from completing The Dark Below campaign. I had completely forgot about it, especially since it’s locked to year 1 stats. But it has been a joy to use on my new character early on.

At its core it’s really just a normal fusion rifle. But it gives you the ability to swap between arc and solar damage. And doing so even changes the stats for the weapon aswell, not just the burn. Which is cool! It also just looks awesome, using a similar model to the Necrochasm but it’s… a fusion rifle.

It’s honestly a shame this gun wasn’t turned into an exotic (not counting Necrochasm of course.)

Oh and did I mention it has what I believe to be a unique firing sound? It sounds like a bell is being rung after every shot. Man this gun just had so much character and it was really never used again? Never got a year 3 variant? CRIMINAL honestly.

Anyone else think this weapon is neat?

As title says I bought engram from xur an got a Gjallarhorn but it’s only lvl 20 and light 160 is this still viable weapon for boss dps im new to destiny started d2 in June and came to this one two weekends ago and kinda confused on why my purple weapons are lvl 40 and exotic ones I get are coming in at lvl 20

Since L0r3’s crotaBot seems to be having another problem again today, I’ve tried my best to replicate all the usual information from the details I can see from DIM again...

I’ve been ripping dusty iron engrams for like 2 months now and still haven’t gotten it

So I pre-ordered Rise of Iron back when and so I got the Iron GHorn. Something neat I noticed is it seems the original copy you get isn’t level locked at all. I can use it at level 1 on a fresh character.

But the version you get from the Kiosk appears to be locked to level 40. Neat huh? Kinda seems like a bit of a cheat to have it on a low level character but it’s kinda cool.

Another thing I can use early on is the “Infinite Link” shader. I believe it’s the only shader in the game that you can use prior to level 20, unless I’m missing one.

Besides all that I just want to say I’ve been really enjoying playing Destiny 1 again after all these years. It’s straight up better than D2 minus the QOL that game received.

Incredible atmosphere, classic soundtrack, amazing visuals (especially those skyboxes… omg.)

How does a god roll Party Crasher +1 compare to Found Verdict? Just got one and was wondering if it was worth using

A few months ago, Athanor had a pretty big influx of Guardians. For a while there were raids happening constantly, new people meeting each other, PvP sessions, people teaching newer players and familiar names starting to appear and even a tourny

Things are quieter at the moment. People are busy, some are taking breaks, and that's just the natural rhythm of a community.

Rather than coming here trying to fill the server with another wave of numbers, I think Imma put this out there for the people who might actually be looking for what we're building.

Look, we're trying to make it more than a bridge between you and your next LFG.

LFG is brilliant when you need five people for a raid but there's something different about loading in and already knowing the people you're playing with.

You remember who always dies to the same stupid thing. You develop rivalries in Crucible. Someone you once taught a raid starts teaching somebody else.

Eventually you're not assembling six random players anymore.

You're asking if the usual lot are around.

That's the side of Destiny we've been trying to create space for.

Eventually you stop looking at everyone as another slot in the fireteam & you know them.

That's what I'd like to build more of.

And at the moment, that means starting from where we actually are.

If you're looking for a server that's packed every hour of the day, I can't promise you that.

What I can offer is a place we're actively trying to grow into something more personal something LFG can't really give you. (They serve their purpose incredibly well.)

So i chose voidwalker and was scrolling through my ability tree at Destiny 1 , im only lvl 12 so i haven't unlocked the whole tree yet...is it my idea that i can build around life drain and have super fast regeneration at my grenades and super?? Or im just imagining things ??

I just got back into the game after however long. Haven't really played destiny 2 but really love destiny 1. Hoping to find some people to run through raids and strikes

like the title says, I'm on series x and I'm looking for people to do strikes with from my quests section and prison of elders. I just bought this not too long ago when it was on sale. I have 3 characters at level 40, all around 370.

IIRC awhile ago there's vanguard private server with working tower plaza.

But no news ever since? Any other projects?

Tripod, Flared, Cluster. No Aggressive Ballistics but for all of you returning/new players this is a good starting rocket launcher for strikes/Aksis P2.

I can't complete the Queen's bounty to kill Stirok, because I can never find him. He is supposed to spawn in Rocketyard on Earth, but I sat around and waited literally hours and he won't spawn. All other Taken events seem fine. Is this particular one bugged? I'm on PS5.

Hey guys, I got into Destiny 1 for the first time after the recent sale and managed to play through the story missions, finishing Rise of Iron today. I enjoyed my time with it and think I've settled in nicely with the whole looter-shooter gameplay loop.

I'm currently around 335 light level with a couple exotics and legendary items equipped. Wanted to know what I should be doing next now that the story is over.

I'm mostly a solo player so raids might be impossible for me. I've been lucky with a few strikes that I managed on my own and others where I had help from strangers joining in.

So are there any activities worthwhile that I should try, or should I move on to the sequel? I'll probably try to finish all the strikes before moving on.

After 11 years+ of playing i finally got it. I remember never finishing the quest in year 1 and id always reset characters, so after TTK released you couldn’t get the quest anymore. I never knew you could get it from Y1 special engrams, i just found out last week.

Basically the title, I’m looking to complete my last remaining crucible grimoire cards and I currently need a lot of game mode type wins. Since a lot of them are basically dead game modes right now unless you have a lobby and I don’t want to bog down other people for my grimoire score, do solo private matches count towards victories? I’m planning on setting the game time to 5 minutes and just sitting through, but I don’t want to waste a bunch of time on that.

Is this a viable way to do this or is there a faster way? Or am I stuck with some of the cards?

I’m also planning on using two accounts for some of the cards, so I’m curious if enemy kills in the crucible would also still count.

Hey y’all, I’m not that much of a PvP guy, in fact 99% of the time I kinda hate it lol.

But I REALLY want that burning eye

So for all you PvP experts out there, what would be the best scouts I could use? I hear that mida is good but I’m not sure if there’s anything better.

While we’re at it (don’t mind if this doesn’t get answered) what kind of armour is effective in crucible, DOES armour even matter at all when it comes to PvP?

I feel like an idiot for asking but like a fish out of water in the crucible lol so please… help me out
