Devops / platform engineer / sre jobs in Germany?

Hey yall
I am a devops engineer in a country where we got heavy sanctions from US. So none of the companies use cloud services like AWS or Azure. That being said, I’m a senior devops engineer here but with zero cloud or terraform experience. I’m need to move to I know most of the cloud concepts and I have over 8 years of experience. I’m also really good at networks architecture.
My questions is:
In order to get a job as a devops engineer/sre/platform engineer, what should I learn that’s mostly used in German companies? What are the qualifications they look the most?
Also, how’s the job market?
Btw, if you’re someone who works in the industry, let me know and I’ll send u my resume :D

Built a free AI job search tool specifically for India — would love feedback from job seekers

I got frustrated with the current job search experience in India. Naukri shows you irrelevant jobs. LinkedIn is flooded. You spend 2 hours a day applying and hear nothing back.

So I built CareerOS India - a free tool that:

  • Reads your resume (PDF or Word) in seconds
  • Fetches real live jobs from LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor matched to your actual skills
  • Generates a personalised cover letter, cold email, and interview prep in one click
  • Has an AI career coach that knows the Indian job market

A designer won't see backend jobs. A PM won't see support roles. It actually filters properly.

It's completely free to start. No credit card. No signup required to try.

Happy to share the link - drop a comment or DM me

Would genuinely love feedback from anyone actively job hunting. What's missing? What could be better?

After 7 years as a founder (and losing $100K+), I’m looking for a full-time growth role

Never thought I’d write this.

Spent the last 7 years building agencies, brands, testing ideas, winning some and losing some.

One of those was a handicraft brand I believed in deeply. Between expensive production and getting burned by handicraft people, I lost over $100K.

I took a step back and realized something:

Everyone is building products.
Very few know how to build distribution.

That’s where I can help.

Over the years I’ve:
• Managed $15M+ in ad spend in Last 7 Years
• Helped generate $100M+ in revenue Overall Clients
• Worked across SaaS, eCommerce & enterprise
• Built and scaled a single finance creator’s audience to 18M+ followers (people in the space probably know who it is competitor to Finance with Sharan but I was behind helping build that growth)
• Built growth systems across strategy, GTM, SOPs, ops & execution

Now I’m looking for a full-time role in Growth / Strategy / Marketing.

Based in Bangalore and happy to work from office or Remote

If anyone is hiring or open to referring me, I’d genuinely appreciate it. After years of building, I’m now looking for stability while continuing to do what I’m best at helping businesses grow.

Not asking for sympathy only looking for an opportunity. I’ll earn the rest.

PS: Used an LLM to help write this better if everyone uses tools to build, why not use them to communicate 🙂

[FOR HIRE] I am a Freelance Web Developer building fast, modern websites for growing businesses.

Hi everyone,

If you're a business owner, you already have enough on your plate. You shouldn't be losing sleep over hosting setups, clunky templates, or websites that don't load properly on mobile.

I’m a freelance web developer who handles the tech end-to-end so you don't have to. I specialise in building modern, custom websites that actually stand out, run smoothly, and convert visitors into clients.

What I bring to the table:

  • Business & Portfolio Sites: Clean, beautifully designed 4-5 page setups that clearly communicate your brand's value.
  • E-Commerce & Lead Gen: Scalable storefronts and landing pages with contact forms that actually send leads straight to your inbox.
  • Premium User Experience: Smooth, high-end animations, lightning-fast load times, and 100% mobile-friendly layouts.
  • The Technical Heavy Lifting: I handle domain setup, hosting, integrations, and basic SEO optimisation so you can focus on running your business.

Pricing: I believe in complete transparency. Depending on the complexity and scope of your project, my rates typically range from $300 to $1500+. I'll provide a precise, no-nonsense estimate after a quick chat about your specific needs.

If you want a developer who values long-term relationships and clear communication just as much as clean code! Let's build something great together.

[Hiring] Software Developers

Quick post, we’re bringing on a couple of devs.

We’re a small team, pretty laid-back, and we try to keep things practical. No heavy process, no constant meetings. Just people building things and helping each other out when needed.

Looking for someone with at least a3 year of experience who’s comfortable getting their hands dirty, building features, fixing issues, improving performance, that kind of work.

We’re not strict on stack:

* Could be frontend, backend, or full-stack

* Use what you’re good at (JS, Python, etc.)

* Expect to work with APIs, systems, and real-world problems

What you get:

* Remote setup (Prefer EU/US/CA)

* Flexible hours (seriously)

* $37–$49/hour depending on experience

* Part-time or full-time, both are fine

If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, send a quick intro and your location 📍

Looking for a Webflow developer/designer to polish my service website

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for someone who is good with Webflow and can help me polish an existing website for a small service business.

The website is already built, but it still needs some improvements:

-center and align a few images properly
-improve the overall structure and visual hierarchy
-fix spacing, contrast and section layout
-make the mobile version look clean and professional
-review the page from a UX/conversion perspective
-make the site feel more trustworthy and polished
-possibly help with setting up a simple payment/checkout solution or advising on the best option

It’s a website for a service business, not an e-commerce store or complex SaaS product. The goal is to make it look professional, clear and conversion-focused.

The current version is built in Webflow. Ideally, I’d like to keep it there, but I’m also open to other solutions if the result is better and the price makes sense.

Important: Since we don’t know each other yet, I’m not comfortable sending money upfront without some kind of safe arrangement. I’m open to using a trusted platform, milestone-based payment, escrow, or another fair solution that protects both sides.

If you’re interested, please DM me with:

a few examples of your work
what you would improve
your estimated price
how quickly you could do it
how you prefer to handle payment safely

This is not a full redesign from scratch — more like polishing, fixing layout issues and making the site look finished.

Thanks! 🙏
