I didn't really post anything about this game on this subreddit. Still, mostly, I wasn't really feeling very good when I was working on this game, mostly because I was feeling like I didn't want to keep making Mugen games like this for a while, definitely back in May of 2025 to February of 2026, I wasn't really feeling fine with thinking about Di Gi Charat at the time. I was having very negative thoughts about it that just ruined my enjoyment of the show a lot.

Yeah, I have to private the game project on my Itch.io because of so many downloads from its demo that I released in November of 2025, which really didn't help me, who's trying to think positively.

But now I feel like I'm better from that state, and now I still don't think I'm going to finish the project due to the roster not being really interesting at all, and I moved on to other things, then this game, but I feel like I'm thinking about just releasing the unfinished game to the public and just moving on.

I think I will release it somewhere in November, but if any of you feel like it should be released sooner, I may change my mind from the November date.

I mean seriously! every other series is on youtube but THIS is the series i got to look high and low for?!

Hello everyone again!

I'm here to present one of my crazy ideas (if you can call it that)

"Fixing 'Winter Garden'"

Winter Garden has become one of my favorite series in the entire Di Gi Charat franchise.

But honestly, I'm dissatisfied with the series itself, and I've heard a lot of complaints about it.

1. The plot: The plot is one of the most frequent complaints I've heard: "that it's not a Di Gi Charat series, and they only kept the names." I can say that's true, but we're here to fix it. I would extend the series to 5 episodes instead of 2, to explain several things. The episodes would alternate between the seasons, instead of being presented from one scene to the next.

First, I place WG as an alternate universe where Dejiko and Puchiko decided to stay and live on Earth as humans, being adopted by human parents (to justify episode 2).

2. Dejiko: Having lived with humans, she may have lost her chaotic attitude and learned to mature over time, being adopted by a person from the countryside (as explained in episode 2). Dejiko abandoned her dream of becoming an idol at a certain age, leaving the shop to live a normal life. She hid the Laser Eye Beam to continue her life as a human. And it's something I would have liked to see: how Dejiko could have explained her past as a princess to Takurou.

3. Puchiko: I feel that Puchiko is the best character in the entire series. I would only change that in the flashback I already explained in the Dejiko section, it should explain how she became less quiet and more outgoing. Expressive.

4. The Ending: I admit I didn't like the ending... In my own changes, I would have had Dejiko leave Takurou... Why?

This would have shown that Dejiko had not only matured personally, but also emotionally, by not depending on anyone, and that she could finally leave the city.

WG could have been a better series, honestly, by presenting Dejiko and Puchiko's past in that universe, and telling us how they grew, developed, and adapted as humans. Dejiko learned to mature into an adult. Puchiko learned to develop socially. WG could have presented a good premise for all of us who watched the series in its early days, as children, represented by the chaos and absurdity, jokes and humor of the time. To adapt to the new times, and follow those children who could have been what Warrior Goes was looking for: maturation and development.

With this, I want to make it clear that I defend with all my might something that's already unjustifiable within the franchise; I just want to share my misunderstood love for WG. Thanks for reading!
