Any voice journaling app with AI?

I want to start journaling, but I hate typing.
Is there an app where I can just talk, and it turns my voice into text? And maybe uses AI to organize my thoughts so it's not just a huge wall of text?
What do you guys use?

Phone app for interstitial journaling

I am looking for a phone application suitable for interstitial journaling.

I had tried Craft Docs but it proves too cumbersome, and WhatsApp, while currently used, is not designed for this specific purpose.

I welcome any app recommendations.

App request

Hi everyone,

I'm switching to digital journalling and I'm trying to find a decent, locally stored app with a one off payment for premium.

I'm thinking of Obsidian + a list of prompts as a fallback, but I'd love to hear if anyone can recommend a good app alternative that's designed specifically for journalling.

AI-searches have pushed me towards Daylio and Diarium, but the latter isn't available for my phone (which is one step up from a calculator) and I don't know if I need a mood tracker...

Thanks in advance!

Why would I switch to a digital journal?

Good day my digital brothers and sisters. I've been journaling pretty much my whole life with physical journals (proud of my decades-long personal library, even if certain years' spines make me wince just to look at them) and am wondering what the benefits of digital journals are?

What is it about sitting down and writing on a keyboard or phone that makes you prefer it over writing in a journal? Is it the convenience?

Who has experience with the AI features of Day One and Rosebud?

I found the AI prompts/back and forth of Rosebud quite useful, I'm new to journaling so without that it feels like I only end up describing my day in a pretty detached/matter-of-fact way. I've only used the free version of each but I'd like to know how the AI features of the paid versions compare.

Any advice/other app is welcome. Privacy/security is important though.

digital travelling journal help?

hii! me and my friend want to make a travelling journal like the ones where someone makes a few spreads and then ships it over for someone else to do a spread too, but since we are so far away from each other we want to try and do it digitally! i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or experiences with doing this before? i was thinking we could send them back and forth as pdf and edit them in our preferred apps but if there is an app specifically for this please let me know. thank you in advance!

Zinnia or Diarium?

I’ve been considering journaling for a very long time and need it to be digital. I’ve seen lots of people recommend zinnia or diarium and I was wondering which was better (or if there was one better than both)
Thanks in advance!

Diarium - Attaching Voice/Audio files?

I just recently purchased Diarium for my Windows PC and began using it. I think the program so far is incredibly feature-heavy, while still having a clean look for the entries themselves.

I saw the "add audio" function and it brought up a recording prompt, and when I attempted to "add file" the program told me my format wasn't supported - I am trying to add a voice note I received on WhatsApp and it downloaded into an .ogg file.

I attempted to Google it and couldn't find an answer. Is there a type of audio file that Diarium accepts, or is it just what you can record in the app via microphone?
