Meg (Family Guy) - In Seahorse Seashell Party, Meg finally has the guts to stand up to her family for their mistreatment of her, only to realize they cannot function without the "lightning rod". She apologises to her family for standing up, accepts her role as the punching bag for the family, and they all hug in the end.

Hughie (The Boys) - In Season Four Finale, Annie gets angry at him for being assaulted by a shapeshifter impersonating her; even the episode treats it like it was Hughie's fault. But then he apologizes, forgives her anger and blame, then Annie forgives him back and jokingly tells him to get tested for STDs, and Hughie is delighted for that, and the show portrays this as a noble thing to do, emphasizing him as the heart of the team. What's worse is Hughie was the victim of another assault case before, and he lost his dad recently. Yes, Annie's mind wasn't all right as she was freed from being kidnapped for many days by that same shapeshifter, but still...

Just spoiled myself on purpose. Anyway, here's an image of Ara, which was the best part of the episode. This is the first time I've genuinely been angry at a DC episode, so here we go.

I don't know what the fuck they're doing with Sam, but I can't defend this man anymore. Like, why are they amping up the out-of-place sexual innuendos whenever he's on-screen with Spencer. I really don't want to ship him with Spencer anymore because it's so embarrassing that they are treading on forced caricature-type shit for them. I'll be removing the StatisticalRisk ship from my flair and dissociating with his character after this episode comes out.

I really don't like how they're moving forward with Oliwia, Nura, and Ren. But, Oliwia and Nura's interactions with Benji were pretty good, I guess.

The Performance trio is really growing on me. Natalia is pretty solid whenever Tom and Gabby are not mentioned. Ren and Fiore keep getting better for me.

Spencer and Lake? Uhh... no. They're just dragging this at this point, I don't even feel like saying anything about this, since I'm already drained by this whole thing between them at this point.

Benji taking control to this extent is something I didn't really expect. I'm not sure if he'll be able to go through with eliminating Tom and somehow I think that line which he said might come to bite him in the ass.

Samcer is forced and unnatural, and it requires Spencer's character to be derailed. I guess this is the product of the writers struggling with how to write male characters -> inability to write good MLM relationships -> having to pander to fujoshis and stereotypes because of their own incompetence. I don't like how ONC is utilizing queer men primarily for the purpose of financial gain (especially when the depiction is detracting) and it's problematic.

Oh yeah Rosa, she flopped. She couldn't survive with all the other stuff that's happening in the story, so I'm not really surprised.
