If you reuse NPS from each freeze to the next pull.

Instead of scraping the dish after each freeze, can you just leave what crystals form after evap and drying and add the next pulls NPS on top? Doing that 3-5 times (for however many extractions you do).

If you don't want to have to scrape it every time, and just scrape it at the end, especially if planning a ReX. Are there any issues with doing it this way?

Roughly 100g of bark, 100ml of Heptane.

🧪 Extraction Log & Diagnostic Report: 100g MHRB (Fast Same-Day STB Sprint)

📊 The Setup & Process:
• Material: 100g Powdered Mimosa Hostilis Root Bark (Jurema Preta)
• Aqueous Base: 750ml Distilled Water + 75g NaOH (Solution got very hot upon adding NaOH).
• Basification Time: Fast sprint — added bark at ~45°C–50°C, rested only 20–30 minutes, and began pulls immediately without any multi-hour or overnight soak.
• Solvent & Pulls: 3x 50ml n-Heptane (warm @ 45°C–50°C), took ~2 hours total due to repeatedly re-heating the heptane/jars in a warm water bath between rounds. Agitation: 50 total Figure-8 inversions per pull, performed in sets of 10 flips with a pause, burp (pressure release), and short rest after each set (5 sets × 10 flips = 50 total).
• Water Wash: Dual warm distilled water wash (45°C–50°C) on the combined ~150ml solvent.
• Freezing: Combined ~150ml solvent directly sealed in Pyrex dish (foil + lid + cling film) into freezer without prior pre-evaporation.

⚠️ The Observation (Post 18-Hour View):
• After 18+ hours at -15°C/-18°C, there is zero crystal formation and no milky/cloudy solution forming at all — the solvent remained completely clear and transparent.

🤔 Initial Suspicions / Feared Issues:

1. Fake / Inactive Bark: Feared the powdered Jurema Preta had zero active alkaloid content.
2. Under-Extracted Due to Fast Sprint: Feared that the short 20–30 minute basification window failed to lyse plant cells, resulting in an empty extract.

🔬 Diagnostic Verification & Drop Test:
• Performed an air evaporation drop test of the solvent on a clean glass dish.
• Drop Test Result: Rapidly left behind white crystalline streaks/frosting with a woody/indole aroma — but I am still not 100% sure whether this residue is actual DMT or just inert plant matter/waxes.
• Current Hypothesis / Root Cause: 150ml total solvent volume was likely too dilute for the freezer's thermodynamic threshold, keeping the solute dissolved in liquid rather than forcing it to nucleate and crash out.

🛠 Corrective Action Plan(That I'm doing right now):

1. Removed dish from freezer and brought to room temperature.
2. Running a fan over the open dish for 20–25 minutes to evaporate solvent volume from 150ml down to ~50ml (reaching supersaturation & milky cloudiness). or if it does not goes milky i am thinking to evaporate 100 percent.
3. Re-sealing airtight and returning to freezer for 4–6 hours for final crystal precipitation and scrape.

❓ Core Questions for the Channel:

1. Is this MHRB (Jurema Preta) REAL or FAKE?
2. Did I do the process wrong or rush it too fast by doing pulls after only 20–30 minutes of basification?
3. Was 75g NaOH insufficient to break down the bark in a fast sprint (even though the lye water got very hot initially)?

I also did the post extract drop test from n heptane on glass
this have smell of oud and woodiness is this dmt or not

And in the dish there is some water droplets in bottom nothing else
the dust and stuff is outside the container

For an a/b extraction, after you have combined the liquid from all your acid boils, what percentage can you reduce the liquid to?
Say you have 5L of combined liquid, how far can you boil it down to before you run into issues?

I just hope they're ok and nothing bad happened to them. u/ClobWobbler has helped me get my extractions and re x's dialed in so well, it really makes me sad I haven't seen one of their vaguely annoyed responses to posts in months.

Two days in a row now I’ve tried to breakthrough. I just got done vaporizing 50 mg after two attempts at 30mg. I’m using the apex volt. I’m doing all the best practices and inhaling lots and lots of vapor. With zero effects. Please advise

I’m having trouble with the pulsar volt and could use some advice please.

I started low with 5mg then 10, then 15, then 30… with no effects. I felt a little head buzz very calm and at peace but no breakthrough like I’d expect at 30mg.

When I’m done the Liqued dmt is brown in the cup so maybe I’m burning it.

Here’s my method: put spice in cup and adjust voltage 19mg or less, 2.8v 20mg or more, 3.2v. Then press button to melt spice. Hold and pull. Anddddd nothing.

I’m thinking I need to hold the dmt in longer and also pull slower.

Any advice and critique much appreciated!

I want to learn how you perfected getting the maximum amount of yield. What mistakes did you learn from and which teks did you try that did and didn't work for you?

I am on my third STB extraction and I'm getting 0.3-0.4g per 115g of MHRB, three pulls. Each pull is diminishing.

So i made a batch and when putting my powder into a pipe first hit smells a lil like naptha other hits smells normal is it safe to smoke or do i gotta do re X.

I couldn't find naphtha; would it be okay to use paint thinner instead? Or what else could I use?
