DMX Interview with DJ Superior and Chivon Dean (NEVER BEFORE SEEN - except when it aired one time in the early 90's).

As the title says. This interview clip proves Superior's start with DMX. It is a long story, but this is close to the beginning of it.

Enjoy 😄

What Are The Best Sophomore Rap Albums of All Time?!

The "Sophomore Slump" is one of the most storied hurdles in hip-hop. After a lifetime of preparation goes into a debut, the pressure to evolve while maintaining momentum often leads to a flop. However, the artists below didn't just avoid the slump, but they used their second outings to expand their sound, sharpen their lyricism, and cement their place in Hip-Hop.

• The Notorious B.I.G. – Life After Death
OutKast – ATLiens
Kendrick Lamar – good kid, m.A.A.d city
Nas – It Was Written
Lupe Fiasco – The Cool
Kanye West – Late Registration
DMX – Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood
Eminem – The Marshall Mathers LP
Mobb Deep – The Infamous
A Tribe Called Quest – The Low End Theory
Jay-Z – In My Lifetime, Vol. 1

Whether they took a more commercial turn to reach the masses or retreated into a darker, more experimental world, these albums represent the moment these rappers proved they were more than just one-hit wonders. They turned the slump into a springboard, delivering albums that are not only classics, but that many fans argue are even better than their debuts.

What do you guys think of the list? Which albums are missing from this list? Let me know in the comments ✌️✌️

a pointless storytime

I remember the firsttime I copped Flesh of my flesh blood of my blood I was pumped since I loved his previous album and I went to a McDonald's with the album playing first time in my CD Walkman and a old lady sent a worker to talk to me because apparently the inlays I was looking through at the the was disturbing and unfitting for a place like McDonald's...... I think I got A quarter ponder with cheese if your wondering 🍔
