Goodbye Dolly's Factory. I'm so sorry to say this, but I just can't keep playing. It just feels like the game is dying, there are barely any players active anymore, and other delverlikes^((and other games)) simply are more promising with more people. I wish there could be some kind of miracle, a mystical savior of funding to get DF back on track, but it most likely won't happen. Rest In Peace.

I've been playing or otherwise popping in on DF and noticed that the game suddenly went from usually around 1.5k players to 3k. And it stayed like that for a while. I thought this was GREAT development and thought that JUST maybe this rise would incline the IP holders to allow the devs to keep working on the game. I thought the increase in players were people who played DW and transitioned since the repeatedly unaddressed allegations. Suddenly, now, I'm hardly seeing player count even get to 1,000. What's happened? I hate coming to terms with the very real reality of this game dying :[

I know theres a discord,a wiki and other social media pages but is that really the way to learn about it?What would you reccomend?Also if anyone wants to rant abt the lore Id be really happy to hear yall out.

Also I know that the game wont be receiving any more updates which is really sad but atleast we still have a lot of stuff to enjoy as a community.

I'm getting very bored because I can't find good teams to play in. I usually play in the morning and I'm in UTC +7 hope that helps

I was told by a friend that they were shutting the game down
I remember thinking it was a joke at first, then felt my heart sinking when I found out it wasn't
the whole day felt like a fever dream I was trying to escape gosh i hated it

In case your wondering no your contribution dosent have to be a full fledged animation your part can be a comic,fluid animation,hand drawn or anything other form of animation

-still frame animation (like where you make a bunch of drawings and put them together witjout making movement)
-paper/clay/cosplay animation is allowed
-big art pieces for them witj the lyrics on them
-full animations

-recordings of you playing as them to the music and edits you made for the factory to the music

This isnt supposed to be a big fancy callob it's supposed to be a lovw letter from the fandom to the creators its a goodbye and to do that we need to show just how many people enjoy the game

The game isn't "shut down" yet. If it's still up and working, that means you can still play it, even if the devs aren't working on it anymore, so it's not shut down.

But the thing I'm most worried about is what will happen to the game as time goes on. I've been on the Roblox platform for like 15 years now, and I know that when you don't update your games, they start to fall apart. And I still want to play this game despite this, but I'm just worried about the game slowly deteriorating as time goes on.

For maybe 3 days now or more when playing this same person in the global chat will be talking about how they ship children with adults and shame on others who don't ship that stuff or even just simply ask them to please not share that stuff I'm only making this post because I've been in so many different servers for 3 days now and even just now I was in a round and different people we're complaining about that same person I personally just find it really discussing and wanna know if others have unfortunately dealt with this person before.
