Hello po, ask ko lang po kung sino yung may same situation sakin. Simula first sem po ay wala pa pong binabayaran yung DOST sa school ko. Sabi naman po nila direct po na magbabayad ang DOST pero di pa rin po nababawas sa tuition fee and yung stipend ko po yung binabayad ko. Should I call the regional office po ba? kasi yung sa school namin ang tagal ng action, simula first sem hanggang ngayon wala pa rin, pero yung ibang DOST scholars sa school ko nababawas yung 20k sa balance nila per semester.

Hello! As per the title, my family thinks I should start paying for the electricity and wifi bills. Although, I know utang na loob ko na yan sa kanila pero I can't help but feel upset about the situation. 😭 The electricity bill usually piles up to 3k, and the wifi about half of that. So, bale half or so na yan ng entire stipend ko for the month and if I have to pay every single month—half of my 4 year stipend would go to the bills alone. Tapos, they also ask me for money unrelated to the bills. They say they'd pay it back but I'm not sure if that promise will hold. Last year when my first batch of stipend came, my mother asked me for 3k. Last week, she asked for 4000. I know that it's a small amount, but if you put that on top of the bills they're making me pay—it's already a lot. Then, my sister borrowed 35k from my first sem stipend to build the gate to our house. She told me she'd pay it back monthly, but I've only received 2k as of now. My mother just tells me to leave it alone and think of it as me helping my sister because she's done so much for us already. I mean, I'm not a selfish person—but this is my money meant for my education and I won't be able to buy the things I want if I already have so many things to worry about.

And this sucked MORE because I was meaning to save up my stipend so that if I transfer schools, I'd support myself for the entire year until I reach second year. Now, I can't do that because the money I'm supposed to save isn't even mine anymore.

guys diba bawal magka 2.3+, may 2.4 ako sa isang sub this 2nd sem, what should i do ba? matatanggal ba ako? and afaik binibigyan pa nila ng last chance right? and pano ba kapag nagsubmit ako ng requirements? sasabayan ko ba ng letter? huhu di kasi ako nakapagreport tas nakapagpasa ng DLP kaya binigyan ako ng 2.4 😭😭

Hi, just want to ask po sa mga Dost scholar dyan. I have a sister po kasi who is a DOST scholar and last November 2025 (can't remember exact date) is nag borrow sya akin ng 32k para mabayaran nya yung tuition nya for the 1st semester and para maka enroll sya for second sem(graduating student sya ngayong May. ) but until now hindi pa nya ako nabayaran ng full may kulang pa syang 8k. For context binibigyan po namin sya nya allowance monthly and all his expenses po sa study nya except sa tuition since meron pong binibigay yung DOST. Ngayon meron pa daw po syang kulang na 12k sa tuition nya which is yung overall tuition nya is 33k . Sabi nya wala pa dawng binigay so DOST kaya nanghihingi na naman sya sa amin ng pambayad. Can you help me po if this is all true? region 7 po kami btw

HELP po huhu, I know this is my fault but I didnt get registered kasi cus naabutan ako ng cut-off kanina. And I am worried na required po sya sa DOST since I am already 18 🥲🥲🥲🥲

Hypothetically, If I were to pass the DOST-SEI Undergrad Scholarship, would the venue be where I took the exam? Or could I pick the location myself?

I moved back to Pampanga for college but I took the exam in Laguna. If the venue is where I took the exam, could I request for my venue to be changed?

Naloloka na ako. They're requiring sa form yung certificate of eligibility and license kaso wala pa ako nun as RA 10612 na kakapasa pa lang sa LET and sa July 23 pa yung Oath Taking. Pero diba, hindi pa naman required talaga for those RA 10612? Mga 1 week nalang before the deadline.

STTP will be my first bootcamp ever, and I’m honestly looking forward to it since I know it’s one of the greatest opportunities out there as a DOST scholar. I believe malaking tulong din siya for my future profession.

Pero may concern lang talaga ako. I have diagnosed GAD, and I’ve been overthinking lately if kakayanin ko ba siya because I heard that there will be a lot of pitching involved. I’m deathly afraid of public speaking and talking in front of many people, not just oridnary people but fellow DOST scholars. It got so bad before that I would sometimes skip classes whenever we had oral recitations. Nakakabawi naman ako through exams and quizzes, so I still managed to pass.

I also don’t think I’m fluent enough in English to speak smoothly. I tend to stutter, and sometimes my thoughts come out all over the place, baka magmumukha lang akong tanga don.

I really want to join because of the insights and experiences I know I can gain from it, but at the same time, I’m scared of what I might go through during the bootcamp.

ang pagkakaintindi ko po ay kung may internship ka sa curriculum mo ay yun na yung considered na magiging PTP. pero i am not sure paano po ang proseso nito kasi as of now ay nagpost ang fb group ng region namin ng gforms para sa PTP. paano po ang process kung nay internship naman sa curriculum para makatanggap pa rin ng stipend? scholar ba magrereach out or may nilalapag na forms pa rin ang dost? salamat po

Hello, I know someone who have both DOST and CHED scholarship. Where can I possibly report them? Nung sa CHED kasi di naman siya pinansin, ang sabi lang is “paldo ka pala”. Regarding DOST naman, di alam. So san po kaya pwede magreport nito? Sorry, I just find it greedy and this person is also a cheater na never nahuli sa school. Tried reporting but nothing happened.

Hello alam ko pwede naman i-google kaso mas gusto ko sana malaman sa inyo na mga dost scholar.

Pwede pa rin ba ma-qualify ang may edad na? Salamat ng marami sa makakasagot.

Hello. Pwede po makahingi ng vision sa kung paano kayo nakabalik sa preferred career path ninyo? Nagamit ba ninyo ang experience as SST I? Considered entry level pa rin po ba kayo no'ng nagstart na kayo mag job hunt? *mga nagpursue ng civil eng'g ay preferred pero not limited to this profession

I rlly rllly have a massive problem, and I overthinking it huhuhu.

So yung papa ko kasi self-employed so wala syang maipapasa na ITR.

So indiegency nalang dapat ipapasa nya, then asa dorm kasi me and totally complete na yung reqs so medyo hassle if uuwi pa ako province since tight sched ko sa school, sadyang yung sa may indigency nalang ng papa ko ang kulang and im ready to go na and something shit happened di naasikaso ni papa yung indigency nya since sya mismo need pumunta doon sa barangay, kaya umabot me sa last day of application na walang naisesend sa akin na scanned photo of indigency.

So umabot ako sa point na gumawa nalang me ng personal-explantion sa may part ng papa ko, though may naipasa naman akong ITR sa mother side ko, but in father side, just a file na nag-eexplain ng situation ko ang pinasa ko.

May possible kaya na ma-ireconsider ako?? I know to myself na madidisqualify ako, but is there other path para mareconsider??

I am a DOST-ASTHRDP scholar for both my MS and PhD. However, I will already be under extension starting this midyear as a PhD scholar. May I ask if I can apply po ba for CIP as an MS graduate, even if I am currently under extension for my PhD scholarship?
