Optimal Gemcup joystick restriction size for dr dabber’s upgraded incycler?

I feel like my switch 2 is getting bigger clouds since I lost my pearls. Do you guys think your rig hits better with or without them

Bear with me.

I understand the immediate reaction to reading the title is making most of you laugh and / or concerned for my mental well being.

But hear me out. My cannabis consumption (as far as I'm concerned) is at a place that I really don't want it to be.

In a sense, I want to cut back. And I really want to stop combustion smoking. And while I've given the transition to dabs a serious consideration, idk if that's the jump I want to make right now in life, for both personal reasons and from a budget standpoint.

So I'm more looking into just vaping flower. Now, I've had a Mighty+ in the past and while it's good, I never felt fully blasted off it and the constant maintenance became annoying. I want something that feels like a good bong rip (but preferably not ball vapes).

So, my question is, even though I know most of you think it's stupid to get one and not use it on concentrates, if you were to buy a Switch 2 for only flower, would you still consider it to be the top of the food chain as a DHV?

I just bought a Switch 2 and Sapphire Plus. Should be delivered next week. This will be my first time actually owning something i can dab. I only dabbed a few times with friends a while ago. My main concern is coughing. So I'm trying to build out the switch 2 with this in mind. I need to upgrade the glass and carb cap next. Not sure which one will benefit me more or which one to get. I think I like more airflow with the setup.

Carb caps:

Gem Cup is always sold out.

Dabhut generic carb cap is made exactly like Gem Cup (so I've read).

WYM Piston/Honeycomb (looks cool) is more restricted (I guess I could ask them to bore a bigger hole).

JNG Joylink look kinda cool but I don't know how I feel about it hitting the glass piece from what I've seen on videos and airflow looks to be what I'm looking for but I've read many people say it's too airy.

Top Glass:

Dr Dabber Incycler shows it's back in stock on their website. Looks promising.

Calibear Variants such as Honeycore, RBR, Straight Fab, Swiss Straight Fab, Donut, Seed of Life, and Dual Jet. This brand makes me nervous due to all the alignment issues regarding airflow with the Switch 2.

Paddglass has a nice bubbler with a mouth piece that extends. He just dropped a bubbler and carb cap combo in clear color for about $170 and looks like a good price.

Budget would be around $200 for both the cap and glass. Any opinions or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I recieved my wym piston today 1 for my switch 2 and 1 for my switch go, ive been using incycler glass, sapphire insert 6mm pearl and either cv21 or cv27.2 in my switch 2, i find the wym joystick to be far superior to the cv's ive used, i can use at a lower temp and still get huge clouds, what are your thoughts on them both if you have them?

I was putting up the box to store it in case I sell it later and noticed something in the packaging.... turns out the Switch 2 already comes with a hot knife so I was using my metal dabber for a few days waiting on the Saber hot knife that turns out I bought for no reason lol

I have owned my Switch 2 for about a week now and love it. My only complain is the carb cap that comes with it was getting stuck all the time after a couple days. No matter how thoroughly I cleaned it the carb cap was hard to move around and I was often lifting up the magnet because I had to apply so much force to move it.

So I started doing some research and looked into possibly getting a 3rd party carb. But I saw this was a somewhat common issue no one had posted a solution for, only commented. There were several suggestions to use a very light amount of coconut oil on the globe of the carb and some on the rubber where the carb cap touches it. I gave that a shot and it's night and day. Absolutely no taste and zero friction.

TLDR: Is your carb cap stuck and not spinning that well? Try putting a tiny amount of coconut oil on the globe.

I want a tuff tether for the switch 2, but cant find any legit websites that sell them. Would anyone know where i could get one?

So tired of dealing coils and stupid shit with puffco and Carta. I'm not had one goddamn issue with the sapphire inserts. From battery life to just overall usage. It's a no brainer. Aeris Carta2 and peak pro. Don't even know why I keep trying hold on to em. Literally just a money pit. From coils to wasting content. It's like what the fuck. And I've abused the fuck out of my switch 2. Can't stop it. Doesn't miss a beat. That being said I found a switch Go for a 260 new. 🤝

I had a puffco peak and bought the Go when it came out and now the puffco just collects dust. I have the sapphire and incycler for it and it is amazing. I really don't travel with it so I've been thinking of maybe getting the switch 2. Is it worth spending the money on a switch 2? I'm a flavor chaser if that makes a difference.
