Decathlon sector 12

Was at decathlon today.. too much rush just went there to get some gym stuff. one of the employees came over to help.. from the very first look she caught my attention..she was sweet genuinely nice and very attractive ( idk why all decath employees are cute ) didn't want to make things awkward since she was literally at work, so I just thanked her, bought my stuff, and left.

now I'm just wondering if i missed my chance.. I know people working retail are paid to be friendly, and I don't want to be that customer who mistakes good service for flirting.. i know her name but just want to say it on a public forum.

Need socializing suggestions

Hey everyone,

I've been living in Dwarka for about a year for work. I'm originally from Maharashtra, and apart from work, my social life is pretty much zero.

I'm not into clubs or drinking, so I'm looking for communities where I can meet people naturally—NGOs, running groups, Toastmasters, tech meetups, book clubs, or anything similar.

If you've been in a similar situation, what worked for you? Any recommendations around Dwarka or nearby?

Thanks!

Naye dost dhundh raha hu — Sector 19B, Dwarka (27 M)

Hello doston!

Main recently Gurgaon se Sector 19B, Dwarka shift hua hu. Area accha hai, but honestly Gurgaon ke comparison me social life kaafi slow lagti hai — na utne events, na hangout spots.

Soch raha tha aas-paas ke kuch jaise log mil jaayein to maza aa jaaye — chai/coffee, weekend plans, sports, ya bas casual hangouts.

Agar aap bhi Dwarka side me ho aur interested ho, to dm kar sakte ho. Milte hain . 🙌

Looking for a PG in Dwarka

Hi,
Me and my friend are looking for a PG in Dwarka to stay for couple of months. The budget can go upto 25k as long as the PG is good and clean.
As we will be in Dwarka only for few months, lock in period of flats will be an issue for us, thus looking for PGs which should have around a month of lock in period.

If anyone could point us toward a few good PGs, we’d really appreciate it!

Thanks

Contractor left our fans completely off-center after installing a false ceiling. Claims "nothing can be done." Is he lying, and how do the we fix this?

Hey everyone,
We recently got our apartment renovated, which included adding new false ceilings with recessed designs. Now that the fans are going up, we realized they are completely asymmetrical and off-center relative to the new ceiling frames (as you can see in attached images). It looks incredibly bad.
When we confronted the contractor about why he didn’t align the fan placement with the new false ceiling design, his excuse was that "the original junction point is there, so nothing can be done." He's basically blaming the false ceiling for making it look off-center, rather than admitting he should have shifted the heavy-duty fan hooks/points before closing up the drywall/gypsum.
We are pretty upset because planning the symmetry should have been step one of designing the ceiling layout.
Has anyone encountered a similar situation with a lazy contractor?
Is it actually impossible to move a fan point once a false ceiling is up?
What are our options to fix this without completely demolishing the new ceiling?
Any advice on how to handle the contractor or technical workarounds would be deeply appreciated!

23M tired of solo drinking with my Netflix profile in my room. Where in Dwarka can a single guy grab a beer without getting the "pity stare" from the waiters?

I’ve been living in Dwarka for a minute now, but my current social life is actively flatlining and I desperately need to touch grass. I’m looking for a solid, mid-range pub or bar around Sector 11, 12, or Vegas Mall where the vibe is casual enough that sitting alone at the bar doesn't make you look like a total creep. I don't need a high-end place where I'm paying premium prices just for the fancy wall aesthetics, but please don't send me to a shady theka side-alley either. Ideally, I just want a budget-friendly spot with a lively crowd of people around our age where it’s actually possible to casually strike up a conversation. Drop your best recommendations below before I chicken out, lose my liver to sheer boredom, and spend another Friday night staring at my Xbox.

Can someone suggest a good pg with food and private room near dwarka sector 21 and 5-6 metro station before that.

My budget is 10-12k and can increase it a little based on how good the pg is.

Why do dwarka AC gas gets leaked every year?

I mean we did fill gas this year and the dude gave us warranty of 6 months and gas got leaked in 3 months and he ran away and not picking calls. I am starting to think these guys rig AC's. I forgot how much it usually costs service and ac gas reffil i think costs 2-6k? I don't remember because my parents usually get it fixed.

If any electrician or technician do let me know why it happens and how can I avoid it. Random shower thought question:- What is the most annoying thing in your ac or electronics (any) you have faced?
