I built a home inventory app where you never type anything: snap a photo, find your stuff months later [Android, free]

Solo dev here. I kept owning things and forgetting where I put them, so I built Store & Forget.

The whole point is zero effort to catalog: you don't type or tag anything. Snap a photo and it auto-fills what the item is (the photo scan uses a cloud AI service). Later you find it by searching names, descriptions, or which box or room it's in, or tap "Smart Find" to search by meaning.

Local-first: everything sits in an on-device database, no account, no sign-up. Optional backup to your own Google Drive.

It's free, Android only. Would love feedback from other builders.

RecallNote

I built RecallNote because I kept forgetting what I studied after a few days.

Instead of taking endless notes, I wanted a simple app that helps review important information before exams.

Features:

Organize notes by subject

Track review progress

Memory retention score based on review history

Works offline

No account required

I'm still improving it and would love feedback from students.

What features would make a study review app more useful for you?

Thanks for checking it out. Any feedback is welcome, and I hope RecallNote helps students retain what they learn and prepare for exams more effectively.

[Indie Sunday] We just hit 100 daily players on GRAZE: Edge Rush - a 1-tap game where you score by almost dying. Come help break my 48,345 high score before Monday reset

100 daily players.

A month ago GRAZE: Edge Rush had 1 player - my son falling asleep on my chest. Today it has 100.

Thank you.

For anyone new - I'm Keith, solo dad dev from PA. GRAZE is super simple:

Playing safe does nothing, this isn’t flappy bird. The CLOSER you graze the danger, the higher your multiplier (x1 to x16). One tap to float, instant restart, new course and a fresh global leaderboard every day.

No forced ads. No pay-to-win. Just you vs. the edge.

Why I'm posting on Indie Sunday:

We hit 100 DAU yesterday for the first time. 25 ratings, 4.8 stars. I'm blown away and I want you in the next 100.

Weekend Fray - Join us:

- Free on iOS: Search "GRAZE Edge Rush" in the App Store or https://apps.apple.com/us/app/graze-edge-rush/id6785326186
- Daily leaderboard resets every night at 8pm EST - everyone starts equal
- All-time high is 48,345 and I can't beat it anymore - 3 people beat me yesterday alone
- Weekend challenge: Beat 48,345 before Monday and you’ll be eternalized on the all-time leaderboard

If you try it, drop your high score below. What score are you stuck on?

100 to 200 - let's go.

I won #1 on PixelPicked this week - free game, no forced ads, same Flappy Bird feel but you have to graze death to score

Flappy Bird: Avoid everything.

My game GRAZE: Edge Rush: Avoiding gives you 0 points. You have to graze within 8px of death to score. Chain grazes to build a multiplier. Avoid and you lose it.

Solo dev, built so I could play in one hand during the long nights with my newborn in the other arm. No forced ads, no IAP tricks, just a daily board and leaderboard that everyone is competing on. Just won #1 Launch Game this week on PixelPicked which still feels fake: https://pixelpicked.com

This clip is x16 bubble field - 3,932 → 8,609 in 9 seconds. My best today is 22,000, all time best is 37,661.

Free download if you want to try to beat it - link in comments so I don't get flagged for self-promo.

I couldn't speak as a kid. So I built an app that speaks for kids who can't.

Warehouse manager by day. This one's personal, though.

I struggled to speak as a child. I had things to say and no way to get them out. That feeling never really left.

So I built Talking Cards. It's an AAC app, basically a talking picture board. A kid taps cards, and the app speaks a real sentence out loud. Tap "want" + "water" and it says, "I want some water," not "I... want... water" like most tap-to-talk apps do.

The part I'm actually proud of: it does this in five languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, French, and Turkish. Each one has its own grammar engine, so Arabic actually conjugates, Turkish builds its suffixes, and English handles articles and plurals. And every single word has a recorded human voice in every language—about 7,700 clips.

Also, zero permissions. Not "minimal"—none. There's no internet code in the app at all, so it can't send data anywhere, even if I wanted it to. It works in airplane mode forever.

Kid Lock pins

Android only right now, no iOS. Solo project, built at night. A one-time $4.99, no subscriptions, no ads, no accounts, nothing to buy inside.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.plapl.talkcards

Happy to answer anything, especially about building five grammar engines without losing my mind.

No screen time app lets you control your limits on an hourly basis, and I seriously don't understand why.

Hey there :)

I'm a recent first-gen graduate and a first-time solo developer. Super excited to share that my first app Precursor: Hourly Screen Time went live on the App Store today!

A: Precursor lets you set a screen time allowance that resets every hour instead of one daily limit that forces you to budget and ration your screen time throughout the day.

B: I am a bit astonished that not even apple has implemented this feature into their native screen time framework.

I'll admit the task was a bit difficult due to the inconsistencies of app usage tracking and becuase of that there are some limitations to how I implemented hourly screen time limts on iOS. Nonetheless I am really proud of the app so far.

I think it's resonating with people, I mean I knew a few others had this gripe becasue its pretty commonly posted about on reddit, but I didn't think it would be this well received. I feel so lucky that just the beta grew to 200 testers in about a week, most of them from this very subreddit (if you are one of those founding testers literally cannot thank you enough for your time and feedback! but I will try ;) stay tuned!)

At it's core I think Precursor helps break unhealthy phone habits through moderation rather than punishing you for falling into a doomscroll that wasn't your fault (these social media apps are literally designed to keep you scrolling, looking at you Reddit).

Thanks a ton for reading, if you have time and energy to support I would be eternally grateful.

Link to the app store:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/precursor-hourly-screen-time/id6791403654

And if you have time to also support the launch on product hunt I would be even more eternally grateful than I already am(The core function of the app is free but there is a PH launch promo code running from 2026-08-02 until 2026-08-08 if you want to try out the extra features):

https://www.producthunt.com/products/precursor-2?launch=precursor-hourly-screen-time-control

C:
- Free Tier:

  • The full hourly reset function
  • 3 app limit groups
  • A "never allow" app/siteblocking list.

- Paid tiers (Monthly: $4.99/Yearly: $49.99/Lifetime: $99.99):

  • 30 minute reset windows (in addition to hourly)
  • up to 8 app limit groups.
  • Everything included in free tier

[Free and will stay free for early adopters] Google Tasks Native on iPhone + things we wanted + it is not a vibecode project

www.etasks.app

Hi all,

I work as a cybersecurity analyst on this App. As a Redditor, I wanted to share this.

www.etasks.app

It went to open early access now, so I thought it is the right time to share with you guys. It is completely free and ad-free and will stay that way for early adopters. It has features we wanted as users. (If there’s anything you’d like the team to add, please let me know so I can include it on the roadmap. For example, list sorting is recently added as a user request, location-based notifications requested and is already on the to-do list.)

ABC's of the App:

(A)nswer
ETasks (www.etasks.app) is a native iOS, iPadOS, Mac OS client for Google Tasks. Some highlights: All tasks in one view, Real alarms, Shared lists, Apple Watch.

(B)etter
It addresses the functional limitations of the official Google Tasks iOS app by providing missing native features and enhanced tools. And it is not a vibe-coding project.

Native and enhanced with iOS.
+ You can manage your Google Tasks. They appear in your Google Calendar and Gmail ... well, obviously 😄* *
+ See all task lists together, even drag&drop between them
+ Alarms
+ Location reminders
+ A wide range of nice widgets, including countdowns and full week/month widgets
+ Lock screen widgets (e.g., quick add)
+ Link photos/files to tasks
+ See your tasks categorised by dates in Month/Week/Day/Agenda views
+ Add people to Task List (co-edit)
+ Sort your task lists
+ Search your tasks
+ AI support where it makes sense; make titles, extract info from links, create lists for you, suggesting task list names, dictating tasks, context aware search, naming photos shared in,...
+ Choose priority for favorites
+ Drag and Drop interface between tabs (e.g., to calendar tab to drop on a date)
+ Recycle bin
+ Share from other apps into ETasks (texts, links, photos, PDF; all processed accordingly)
+ Apple Watch / iPad Apps
+ Import/Export task lists
+ Modern iOS design
+ A how to AI chat bot to help you with specifics of ETasks
+ Highly customisable user interface
+ Can be used without an account
+ Welcome to explore the rest, it is now open early access.

Free video + PDF course for the next 5 days. looking for honest feedback/ratings

I’ve made one of my video + PDF courses free for the next 5 days. It's about improving your memory. Simply put 0$ at checkout to get it.

I’m currently struggling with something that’s especially difficult when marketing independently: getting enough genuine customer feedback to help people know that the product is legitimate and useful.

I have some genuine, non-incentivised 5-star reviews on Udemy, but most students who complete the course simply don’t leave a review. On platforms where I do my own marketing, I have a much smaller customer base, so it’s difficult to accumulate enough reviews organically.

If you decide to try the course during the free period, I’d really appreciate an honest review based on your actual experience. Positive, negative, or somewhere in between. Please say what you genuinely think.

There is absolutely no obligation to leave a review, and I’m not asking anyone to give it a positive rating.

Thanks to anyone who gives it a try.
