Eames LCM 1950s Repair

It looks like the shock mounts on this 1950’s LCM have been repaired at some point. Or at least I’m assuming so based on the markings on the bottom of the chair.

I’m seeking some advice on the quality and accuracy of the repair. Does it look structurally sound? Is the repair consistent with Eames construction methods?

Is there a market for an ottoman shell?

A little background: I picked this up at an estate sale about 2 years ago, for what I thought was a pretty good price, $200, thinking it would bring me one step closer to fulfilling the dream of one day owning the whole combination.

Fast forward to today and I'm not quite there yet and this has just been sitting, covered in my basement. I frequent this sub for the info and generally good vibes around the shared love. So I come to you, the Eames council, asking if there's a market for this, what you all think a good price would be, and honestly, if any of you are in the Philadelphia area, would want it.

Cheers.

Edit: sorry about the bad photos. I can absolutely take more if needed.

Edit 2: I hope this doesn't break any rules, it's not exactly a for sale post as much as it is a could it be sold / what would you all think a good asking price would be / where the heckin' heck would one even sell such a thing type of post.

Early Eames Chair Owners

Does anyone here have an original Eames chair, (preproduction, 1956 version) with the spinning ottoman? I’m trying to get an idea of just how many of those chairs were one, made, and two, still out there. If you have one, say so here! I’m curious how many are actually out there.

Authenticity check please?

From the seller when asked about the missing label via email:

"You know those small labels fall off time to time.  No fakes ever.

And the leather is real nice on this one.  It’s heavier than the chair. Never refinished. No funny games no holes. "

Listed for ~$4k. Thoughts? TIA

Looking for advice

Hello, I have this chair, in fair to good condition. No rips in the leather or major flaws, but it has been in an office for a few years and has been used (I.e. the leather is slightly compressed in some areas, some of the stainless hardware shows surface scratches, etc). What would be a fair secondary price if I was going to sell it?

**this is not a sale post, I’m simply looking for advice!
