I’ve had her for a bit over a month and have been wondering the id if anyone has any idea?! I’m presuming she’s an Echeveria but that’s all I’ve been able to tell lol
pulvinata or harmsii? (Ain't she a beauty!)
I've had this down as E. pulvinata just from photo identifications as I don't even remember getting it let alone have the tags. I recently decided it may be E. harmsii instead. What do you think?
Was reorganizing the prop boxes. I love the difference of phenotype in the PVNs. Last pic's a weirdo. All these roots and no leaves.
Edit: adding links to previous propagation posts where there are lots of very helpful comments!

As well this video that was kindly recommended
I was thinking to myself "but why does this chick keeps on etiolating?" Until I noticed this tiny stuff looking like a flower. I got this one delivered not so long ago. The mother plant is still compact... Ever seen something like that?
Echeveria "red prince"
I cut the head off this plant a while ago and repotted it. The stalk has produced little rosettes. How long should I wait before removing them and potting them separately?
I've had my echeveria for almost two years now, and it keeps losing its leaves as it grows taller. I'm not quite sure what it needs as it gets lots of sunlight all day and I thought I was giving it enough water (without overwatering it). Can someone please tell me if this is normal or not? I'm a new plant parent and this is my only echeveria. I replanted one of its fallen leaves and it has rooted and is doing the exact same thing, but I haven't seen anyone else's plant do this?
I’m sure this has been asked before but I can’t find what I’m looking for in past posts.
What grow light do I get for my Echeveria Compton carousel?
I keep putting it outside during the day (it’s too cold here at night still to leave it outside) because it has some etoliation but it’s still happening.
the underside of the leaf and the edges of the leaf ends have developed this kind of pitted look. a random leaf dried up in the middle too. i'm not sure when this started developing, maybe over a week?
is this the action of a pest or anything else that i should be worried about? i have no clue, any information or advice is appreciated.
As a result of u/tazza107 sharing photos of his Graptopetalum bellum plants in flower, last spring I visited the UK’s National Collection of Echeveria, Graptopetalum, Pachyphytum (and inter genetic hybrids) to obtain a true species plant.
The plant I got is a pale grey-blue green, with the photos appearing more mid green than in life. The mother plant originally came from another collector in the British Cactus and Succulent Society.
Ive since purchased various other plants, and cultivars, and they are all much darker (see recent posts on r/cactusandsucculents). As seen in the photos.
It has stayed lighter than all the others, despite the same growing conditions.
This spring it has flowered, and they do look like bellum.
The International Crassulaceae Network does describe it as “mostly dark or grayish-green”:

Has anyone else had experience of light grey/blue-green specimens?
Overall plant body and inflorescence details of Echeveria laui Moran & Meyrán,1976
One of the most gorgeous Echeveria species from Oaxaca which has heavily pruinose plant body.
Since past 2 days the leaves are falling off. I have checked roots, I don’t see any rot. In the second picture, the tip of the steam seems to be translucent. This was the first succulent, I ever purchased. It used to be so beautiful 🥲 (picture attached at the end).
I keep them under green sunshade, as here the temperature can go upto 35 degree Celsius.
Could this be the reason?
Btw have repotted it into well draining soil mix. The last pic is when I first got it from the nursery.
Please help.
I’m too lazy to take a pic that really shows its state. It looks worse without flash and the lower leaves look like they’ve got flat mites. I think the mother plant to these two succumbed to flat mites; these (~1yr old) were looking flawless for a while but now we’re back to bumps and depressions. I definitely have mites in my collection rn, but the lower leaves on these don’t fall off as easily as others with mites. And yes, well draining substrate, watered when lower leaves get pliable, but I guess with the weird state of the lower leaves I’ve probably watered too soon on occasion and got some edema on upper leaves. Such a pretty hybrid, but I’m giving up if these two don’t make it.
But I feel like i did something. Like. I gave birth or something. They are a few days old. Added potential parents pictures.
Found some uncommon Echeveria species at a local nursery. Any care advice?
