Asian Leadership Conference Keynote Speaker: EJAE Stresses Empathy in Turbulent World

EJAE, the composer and singer of *K-Pop Demon Hunters*, said during the keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the 17th Asian Leadership Conference (ALC), held at The Shilla Seoul on the 20th, “We are living in friction caused by war, division, distrust, and technology moving faster than our ability to fully understand its impact on our lives,” adding, “To me, this is the essence of the turbulence we are experiencing today.” EJAE emphasized the importance of empathy and patience, stating, “In a turbulent world where everything quickly becomes information, reactions, and content, we may feel like we know more, but we often begin to lose the ability to feel.” Below is the full English transcript of Lee Jae’s keynote speech and its Korean interpretation.
