EDC blues are hittin HEAVY rn miss you all 🥲

We are considering using the EDC sponsored private car service for 3 of us each day. Does anyone have an idea when it might go on sale?

I saw some horror stories about this years and we are now kind of reconsidering. I'm trying to make as easy as walk possible for the ladies.

I’d like to preface this with this year was fun, my group was amazing, and the actual event was incredible. But honestly, we are losing control of where the scene is now.

We have people that are pissing in crowds, pissing in the Mesa, pushing their way through majorly overcrowded areas to get their group of 17 people in the spot that only one could fit comfortably. I saw people get pushed out of their edc recordings. I saw people encouraging already plastered people to keep drinking or push through instead of taking care of themselves.

Then the event itself: the speaker stacks getting wrecked day 1, the fireworks shooting into the crowd, The lack of cool down areas in the track, the cooling room from last year was turned into a taki’s stage that fills up and heats up. There was very little protection from the elements for something like this where they know temperatures could rise. My lady almost got denied using her INSOMNIAC PASSPORT, because the guard told us, her wristband wasn’t covered in their briefing.

All in all, I believe both insomniac and the attendees need to do better. You guys make this festival what it is as much as insomniac does. We all have a responsibility to make this place the beautiful area we came to enjoy and teach the new comers how to prolong the life of this scene. Before it gets taken over and we have situations like they did at rolling loud. WE NEED TO BE BETTER PEOPLE.

EDIT: I’m working on replying to everyone. I want to say, I’m not saying this just to complain about the event, I really want to see change to it, and as much as I know that this is a redundant post every year, I wanted to share my experience so hopefully someone with some power can see it and take some notes. I love you all and I hope you all had a beautiful weekend despite its pitfalls!

UPDATE: So Pasquale and Insomniac announced yesterday about “DUSK TILL DAWN”. The posts say they will expand to two weekends with the same amount of people across both weekends. Do you believe this will fix the issues we experienced this year with overcrowding? Or do you believe this is another money grab situation? Let’s talk!

Pasquale and the team should announce a percentage or ticket quantity difference between 2026 and 2027. Otherwise I’m going to just assume it’s going to feel the exact same.

TLDR: my friend was followed into her shower at camp by a man talking about r*ping her while 5-10 other men just stood there.

On Sunday afternoon at camp, my friend was cornered and assaulted in the women’s showers at camp.
Despite them being clearly marked, a group of men did not want to wait in the men’s shower line so they got in the women’s line behind her. More men followed suit and joined them in line. While waiting, these men began making jokes about assaulting and r*ping her and other women in the showers. The men who weren’t making the jokes either laughed or said nothing.
When a shower became available to her it was the far end corner shower. As she got undressed one of the men behind her followed her and barged into her shower and began staring at her and making a comment on his “luck”. Only turning around and leaving when other women heard and someone called out to see if she was okay. She grabbed her things and ran back to our RV crying.
By the time our group got there to see if he was still around he was gone. Security or police were nowhere to be found.
This was her first ever EDC and she was traumatized. All this to say, please remember to extend the buddy system to camp, showers, and bathrooms. And men of the edc community, do f*cking better. If you see another guy following a woman or talking about hurting her, say something or do something.
Keep yourselves safe and look out for each other. Our home is getting scarier every year.

I dont get it

To those who are on it when does it start?

I told someone yes to getting a ticket for me but I want to go weekend one instead(: but they’re giving me a hard time because I first said yes and they’re going weekend 2 GA+

Does anyone know if William Black’s and Dabin’s set will ever be released on Apple Music?? or are copyright issues blocking them to be uploaded…

I went to my first EDC this year, and I absolutely fell in love with everything about it. The stages, the sound systems, the people, the energy, the atmosphere… I was completely blown away. The production was on another level, and it honestly set a new standard for me.
I recently went back to Electric Forest (I’ve been before and have always loved it), but this year it just felt… off. The stages seemed so much smaller, the sound wasn’t nearly as immersive, and I never got that electrifying feeling I had at EDC. It wasn’t that Forest was bad it just didn’t hit me the same after experiencing EDC.
Now all I can think about is going back to EDC. 😂
Has anyone else felt this way after their first EDC? Did it change how you experienced other festivals?

After some research and doing some math > I’ve decided to book with One n Only. Staying at the Serene Resort and taking their shuttles to and from the festival. Anyone else booking with them too?

Do we know which year starts the EDCLV series? Seems I should have started collecting these ages ago but it wasn’t as important to me back then. Raving is way too much fun, still no signs of stopping! 😅

I have magnets for years 2019 - 2026. My first EDCLV was 2011. Were these even being made back then??

Would you say that the circus circus hotel would be a good stay for someone unsure on how they’re going to the festival? This would be my first time going and I have stayed there before. Unsure if I’m going to be using the shuttle service or using uber to get there.

2026 was my 5th and greatest EDC yet. I’ve got my ducks in a refundable row, but barring a dream lineup, I’m most likely taking next year off. Traveling from the east coast is expensive.

The lineup usually drops BEFORE, the final layaway payment, correct?
