My Xpro Drax 🐝

What’s up guys — figured I’d finally make a post on everything I’ve done to my XPRO Drax X Pro 72V so far.
This thing started as a fun project and has slowly turned into a full DIY garage build. At this point I’m basically trying to push it into more of a budget Ultra Bee-style / Frankenstein build and see how far the platform can go.
Current mods / changes so far:
FarDriver ND72680
Sur-Ron throttle swap
48T rear sprocket
HD chain
full Ultra Bee front end
Chaojie display
UB Headlight / shroud
UB front brake
integrated rear tail light(sequential)
72V to 12V step-down converter
USB outlet
Amorge Battery is on the way (Tenpower 50XG 40ah)
custom wiring / accessory setup
lots of tuning and little changes along the way
I’ve also been messing with suspension, fitment, wiring, controller stuff, and generally trying to make the bike feel a lot more serious than stock.
The cool part is the Drax actually seems to share some compatibility with more pit bike / China dirt bike style parts in certain areas, so it’s been a weird but fun platform to experiment with.
I’ve been documenting the whole thing because there’s still not a ton of info out there once you start going beyond the basic bolt-ons. People seem to really like seeing the process, especially the Ultra Bee front end swap and FarDriver stuff.
Still want to do more with it too. This definitely isn’t the final form yet.
If anyone else here is building a Drax or has gone deep on one, I’d love to see what you’ve done or compare notes.
I’m still not done yet either lol.
Anyone else messing with one of these?

Looking for realistic budget friendly electric dirt bike recs

I’m trying to figure out a realistic option for getting into an adult electric dirt bike setup without overspending, so I wanted to ask people here who have actual riding experience. I’ve been comparing entry level bikes, used listings, and a few budget builds to understand what actually works for light trail riding and dirt paths. I also checked online just to see what kind of specs and pricing exist at the lower end, but it is hard to tell what is reliable. What I am really looking for is a stable beginner friendly setup with decent range and low maintenance. If anyone has recommendations for specific models or brands that hold up well in this price range I would appreciate it. My main concern is avoiding something that looks good on paper but does not last in real riding conditions especially on mixed terrain. I am open to new or used options and trying to understand what features actually matter versus marketing. For those who have already been through this stage what would you actually start with what would you personally recommend starting on in terms of reliability durability and ease of maintenance for a first bike today?
