Recommendations please
My buddy has an MX4 and I think it’s a great bike, but I’m a little bigger than him and I was wondering what you recommend for someone 6’2 240lbs. Mostly street riding but could possibly go for some off road too. Is the MX5 worth the extra?
Shield or no shield
Going to be doing some city street riding on this nova x eskute, how is it looking with no front shield? I like it with none because it looks more like a sport bike and less like a dirt bike
Buying an electric dirt bike off Alibaba/Aliexpress: Is it a legit hack or a ticking time bomb?
I keep seeing these ultra-cheap electric dirt bikes on Alibaba that look identical to major brands. Has anyone here actually pulled the trigger? How was the shipping, customs, and most importantly—did the battery explode!?!?
T01 or 79 Lite?
I am looking at budget friendly 72v emotos and the falcon lite and Rexx T01 keep popping up and I’m curious as to which you guys believe is better as I’ve seen lots of post with the falcon lite and nearly none of the T01 but the T01 has better specs so I’m curious y’all’s opinion. Btw the falcon lite is 250 USD more.
Help for EU
I chatted with some Vendors on Alibaba about Surrons and they say it is the offroad version, so ilegal for the street in Europe. Are there other brands which I can order on Alibaba and directly drive it here on the streets?
Worried about real range on electric dirt bikes before buying
Hey guys,
I’m planning to grab an electric dirt bike for trail rides, but range anxiety is holding me back.
Manufacturer range numbers always look great, yet I heard aggressive riding, hills and mud cut real mileage by half easily. Remote trails have nowhere to charge, so I’m scared of getting stuck mid-ride.
For anyone who owns an electric dirt bike:
What’s your actual usable range on regular trail days? Do spare batteries fix the problem, or should I stick with gas for longer rides? Drop your real experience 👇
Talaria mx3
I’m thinking about buying a talaria mx3 but I’m not sure I see a lot of people saying just get a mx4 but that’s a bit out of my budget so should I get a mx3? (budget is around 3k euros)
Stark Varg EX reasonable for a beginner?
Never ridden a motorcycle before but there are hundreds of miles of hilly single-track in my backyard, and I'm intrigued. I like that I can tune the power way down to beginner levels while I'm learning. Not very cost sensitive.
Also thinking about a Surron UB and Y-Volt Surge, but it seems like neither has a proper suspension and more limited range. Thoughts?
Honestly, the best part about going electric is just how peaceful the trails are
Just wanted to share a quick thought after a long ride this weekend.
Being able to cruise through the woods, clear a tough singletrack, and actually hear the wind, the tires gripping the dirt, and the wildlife around you is a completely different experience. Plus, it's amazing not having to worry about waking up the entire neighborhood or causing any disturbance when you want to sneak out for an early morning session.
You get all the instant torque and power, but with none of the noise. It honestly makes the whole trail experience feel a lot more connected to nature.
Anyone else feel like the silence actually made them enjoy trail riding more?
First E-Moto
Wanting my first emoto and I wanna go big and get a nice bike. These are the bikes I’m looking at now please give me thoughts and other suggestions.
E ride 3.0 SR
Surron Ultra Bee
Y Volt surge V
Srpnt Z-27
Looking to get my first e-bike soon any suggestions?
I’m looking for an E bike that’s good for on and off-road and it’s pretty big since I’m 6,1. I want a bike with that mean surron look to it, but that’s also reliable and won’t break in two weeks. Any suggestions?
New traction control update
I purchased a mx1.2 non alpha version about 5 months ago because it was the only 1.2 avaliable in oregon, wanted the alpha but figured I could just upgrade later. After riding the bike at 60hp there's honestly no way in hell I even want to try to seriously ride at 80, so I though okay cool that worked out. And I get why they pay walled the extra power, but it doesn't feel like I'm getting ripped off its a totally fair exchange. But no the new traction control is pay walled with the alpha version and its really frustrating, it feels like there actually taking away what might become a key feature of the bike, like now I feel like there trying to take advantage of us. Pretty disappointed honestly, I dont like what this makes the company look like if that makes sense.
Best recommendations for trail riding
Hey guys, I’m on the market for a bike that will do good on trails in Colorado. I’m trying to stay under $3500 if possible, I see a lot of bikes out there but I’m not sure on what’s actually good because I’m new to the scene. Do you guys have any recommendations?
Just ordered the brand new falcon lite
Did anyone email them and get any info
Also anything I should know about theses bike this is my first bike btw
79bike falcon lite
So I’ve only heard of 79bike on short form, but nothing about their quality, I was looking for an rtr lite and found a falcon lite, there’s no video reviews yet and it’s seems like a bare bones light bee but $1000 cheaper. I heard Surrons are more expensive than they should be, with the “smart technology” and everything has a cool stylized branded case or cover. so I figured it could be possible. Is this legit has anyone used one, or another 79bike.
Btw I’m only looking to ride to school n work around my neighborhood.
New info on the falcon lite
Also they told me it’s a different display the frame is the same just different material so it’s a little more heavy
