Issue w/ HardDrive not being recognized + Can't boot EliteBook 845 G8 Notebook

Has anyone else has this issue? I did a quick check and it's saying it does not see a Harddtrive/SSD.

However I've been using this laptop fine for 6 months. It worked fine 2 days ago. I tried resetting bios settings, fixing time and date, holding down win+v+power for 30 seconds. But still nothing. I didn't drop the laptop or anything.

My next thing to try is opening it up a reseating the ssd. Just need to find some tools to do so.

Is this a common issue or has anyone else has this issue with this model?

Price check

I bought an hp elitebook 845 g7 from lahore for 50k.

It has only 76 battery cycles and 8gb ram and 256gb ssd. But it has a little crack on the right side of the screen. And the E button on the keyboard is also a replaced one.

So I don't know if i should return it or keep it because its battery is good. All other things i checked are also fine.

How to know if a battery is copy/fake?

I am stuck with a battery health: calibrate status and everytime I put it on charge from dead. The laptop wants to discharge instead of taking in charge from HP UEFI diagnostics. Device is Elitebook x360 1030 G3.

Also my left hinge has suffered a slight misalignment from an accidental fall from my bed.The right hinge in the folder back state.How to get the alignment back in shape?

Power light is blinking continuously, fans are running at full speed and laptop body isn't heating a bit

If i press power button continuously, it gets turned off for a couple of sec and then gets turn on automatically.

Yahooo found a Elitebook 845 G10 for 299€ / Any advice on what to do first

Its a 250 nits screen tho🫠🫠is it replaceable later by a better screen ?

Any tips ?

I hate the feeling of aluminium on it im planning to buy a sticker black mate kinda like thinkpad way any recommendations about this or a protection case or smth ?

Screen colors feels weird btw any fix ?

Found a good deal for a 645 g9

I daily drive a 2022 Dell G15 but because of its weight and size (not mentioning the weight of the charger!) it is a pain to move around. I wanted a capable enough secondary laptop to move around through the city, saw a good deal for this refurbished elitebook and couldn’t resist. I’m kinda still deciding if it was a good and necessary buy for me or not. I installed Cachy Os on it and apart from a pretty bad webcam I think it is a pretty decent laptop.

Elitebook 845 G8 thermals: good or bad? Does the fan run often?

I'm thinking about getting one of these, but I'm curious if this machine has good cooling and if you hear the fan often? I've had a T14S Gen 2 (AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 5650U) and I hardly heard the fan run when doing regular non-intensive tasks. Some other laptops I've had would start their fan even when idle. I'm thinking of getting an 845 G8 with the Ryzen 7 Pro 5850U. Thanks!
