Sometimes during the day my screen just freezes, keyboard and mouse/trackpad input don't work at all, and the fan goes quiet. The only keys that remain functional are the camera shutter and the power button. This happens usually after some time of continuous running without much activity going on. The laptop just doesn't go to sleep, it's like it freezes.
Anyone else had a similar issue? What could be the cause?

32/512 11th Gen i7-1185G7

I’m really confused, weather I should buy the hp elite book Dragonfly g2.

It coms with 16gb ram, intel i7 11th gen and 512 gb ssd. Should I buy this or something like the MacBook neo. Because I do need to make notes for school plus I kill for a nice sleek form factor. Like a backlit keyboard, glass screen. Light weight. Less than 14 inches. Thin and light. So with all that kept in mind I’ll be doing very light work, I’ll maybe watch Netflix and YouTube or word or some Roblox here and there. And maybe Claude and make some websites.

So should I go with this laptop which I’m getting under 500 usd. Or any other laptop. Plz recommend.

I recently bought an elitebook 845 g8 from a seller.

When I went to buy it, the 845 g8 had a non-touch panel and its plastic bezels were peeling. I pointed it to the seller and he told that he can change the whole top lid with some other similar unit.

There weren't any other better one's, so I took an elitebook 840 g7 which had an i7 10th gen and he swapped the whole top lid with the screen.

Later when I paid for it and all, did he spot that he had mistakenly replaced the lid with a touchscreen one from the 840 g7.

But the touchscreen isn't working on this panel now installed on my 845 g8. Display works alright otherwise.

Is it something hardware related or maybe a BIOS block?

Wifi button that toggle the wireless connection stopped working suddenly and the button light glow constantly in orange color. Does that mean that the network card is finished?
