Emirates First Class Lounge in Dubai – Concourse C vs A? Worth switching terminals?
Hi everyone,
I’ll soon be flying with Emirates from CPH to JNB with a layover in Dubai, and I’m considering buying access to the Emirates First Class Lounge during my transit.
I’ve seen that there are lounges in Concourse A, B, and C, but I’ve also heard quite a few people say that the lounge in Concourse C is noticeably worse than the one in Concourse A.
So I wanted to ask people here who have actually tried them:
- Is the First Class Lounge in Concourse C really that "meh"?
- How does it compare to Concourse A in terms of atmosphere, food, showers, comfort, and overall luxury feel?
- If my next flight departs from Concourse C, would you still recommend going to the lounge in A instead?
- Is the difference significant enough to justify the extra time and train ride between concourses?
I’ve read very mixed opinions online. Some people say Concourse C is quieter and more relaxing, while others say it feels older, smaller, and much less premium than A. Since this will be my first long-haul trip with Emirates, I’d really like to make the most of the experience.
Would love to hear your honest thoughts and recommendations — especially from frequent Emirates flyers. Thanks! 😄 ✈️
