migrated from emochi to emochi world, can i go back?

i tried to log back into my emochi account with the same email but when i did it was a completely new profile and uid, none of my data was on it. i submitted a report and a feature request that would allow users to switch back to emochi and not be forced into using emochi world

Quick Guide: Simple System Prompt rules to stop bots from puppeting {{user}} & improve immersion

One of the biggest immersion killers in roleplay is when a bot suddenly starts writing your character’s actions, thoughts, and dialogue for you.

After experimenting with system prompts and testing different character setups, adding a few specific rules completely fixes this issue and drastically improves response quality.

Here is the system prompt snippet you can copy:

[System Rules]

- Write strictly in 3rd person POV from {{char}}'s perspective.

- Spoken dialogue must be enclosed in quotation marks ("...").

- Actions, thoughts, and atmospheric descriptions must be in asterisks (*...*).

- Roleplay strictly as {{char}} and ambient NPCs.

- NEVER write actions, thoughts, feelings, or dialogue for {{user}}. Allow {{user}} full agency.

- Always end your response with an open action or question directed at {{user}} to give them room to react.

Why this works:

-Ambient NPCs included: Allowing the bot to control background NPCs and prevents the AI from freezing or hallucinating when side characters appear.

-Open endings: Forcing the model to leave the scene open stops it from resolving the conflict on its own in a single reply.

-Format clarity: Distinct separation between asterisks and dialogue keeps the prose readable across different LLM backends.

How to use it:

Creators: Paste this into your bot’s System Prompt / Definition under the general rules.

Players: You can add the same snippet directly into your User Persona / Bio to tame public bots that keep hijacking your character.

Hope this helps :D

EMOCHI MESSAGING INTERFACE

genuine question, will our retinas/pupils/eyes (whatever) be okay with the emochi's chats locked on a solid background with grey/white texts? i read that this causes eye strain because the pupils are working harder because of the halation effect or whatever ://

The best roleplay intros are the ones that don't tell me who I am

The chats I keep coming back to are usually the ones where the intro gives me a situation, not a whole identity. If it starts with “you’re my childhood rival who just moved back to town,” I’m already locked into someone else’s story. Give me a tense situation and let me figure out who my character is, and I can take it in a bunch of different directions. I’ve done stuff like cautious ally, undercover detective, total stranger, all with the same character on Emochi. That kind of freedom makes a huge difference for longer stories.

How do I confirm this option?

I like shorter responses so I slide it to the left, but theres no like... confirm button. And when I re-open that menu its back in the center. Its pretty confusing.

The ads are driving me crazy

at a rate of 20 seconds of ad time per 3 minutes, that's 10% ads 90% emochi time, that means that someone using emochi free for 100 hours spends 10 hours on ads and never click on any of them because they're all targeted towards like 50 year Olds

One thing I wish more character creators would stop doing

I get why people give {{user}} a whole name, appearance and backstory. It makes the opening scene easier to set up, especially if you already have a specific story in mind. But personally, I’d rather have the character leave me some room to decide who I am. I’ve noticed this a lot while browsing characters on Emochi. If the setting and the bot’s personality are well written, I don’t need a pre-made identity shoved into the intro. Just give me the situation and let me take it from there. Way more fun that way, especially if I want to reuse the same character for different scenarios.

I hate when a bot starts deciding what my character is thinking

One thing that always throws me out of a scene is when the bot suddenly starts writing my character’s thoughts or making decisions for me. I ran into this while messing around on Emochi and found that adding one simple line to the context helped a lot:

[Focus on {{char}}. Don't describe {{user}}'s thoughts, feelings, dialogue, or actions.]

After that, I could actually play my character myself instead of constantly correcting the bot. Small thing, but it makes a pretty big difference in longer scenes.

I'm banned from Emochi Discord Server about 2 months ago. PLEASE HELP ME to be unbanned there.

Reason I was banned: Because of mentioning other AI Chat Platform.

Only once I mentioned it. Then I was timed out and finally banned permanently. SO PLEASE HELP ME to be unbanned. Thank you! 🙏

Absurd

It's just absurd. The dude wasn't even wearing said clothes, so why bother writing about it? Bringing it up just makes it weird. I'm not actually upset by this, but... why? 😭

Inconsistent Bot Memory

I generally use the same model (V3) for chatting and I feel some bots have pretty great memory while others..

Just suck. What determines this? Is it something in the bot description? My personal is now a 100% smart ass because I'm sick of this bot just not remembering things

I finally had to clean up my chat list lol

I opened my chat list yesterday and realized I had way too many unfinished stories sitting there. Some I hadn’t touched in weeks, but I still didn’t want to delete them. So I spent a few minutes clearing out random test chats and keeping the ones I actually want to come back to. I’ve got a pretty ridiculous mix of stuff on Emochi now, from long fantasy stories to random little side plots. Do you guys actually clean yours up, or just let the list keep growing forever?

Is Emochi Good for Writing a Long, Linear Story?

Hi everyone,

I am currently working on a GTA fan story called Separate Roads. It will contain four different chapters/arcs and several unique characters.

My question is: Is there a suitable setup on Emochi for following a large, linear story?

I have been using Emochi for about a year now, but I have always used the free version. Would subscribing give me any significant benefits? Is the memory really that much better? Is there considerably more storage? Does the AI's writing become more creative or consistent?

And if Emochi is the wrong app for this kind of project, could you perhaps recommend a different app?

Thanks!
