Our first litter

Last year we had our first litter with 3 puppies. This is the mom with her two daughters. The develop a bit differently, the girl who stayed with us is 10kg and the other one only 8kg. It's pure joy to see them grow.

How do i make my pup stop biting?

Hi! We got this beautiful baby puppy, Judie, exactly a week ago. She was pretty stressed at first, but we think she is slowly adjusting. However, she bites badly! Sometimes she gets all aggressive and growls in her puppy way. She bites our hands and toes. How do we make her stop biting? I tried to draw her attention to the toys. Is it a slow process? How long does it take for a pup to stop biting? Any additional help and tips with training will be appreciated!

My first Cocker in 2 weeks🐶

In 2 weeks, I will get my first English Cocker Spaniel❤️

Previous dog was a Golden Retriever.

So if anyone has any recommendations on what I should focus to train/teach a Cocker at an early age,
I have open arms for tips and tricks😉

Is he an English?

Hey all, I just joined mostly to see what everyone thinks he is. Is he more English or American? Mixed maybe? He’s about 4 or so months old in this photo. He’s super curly and his back has super straight hair or kinda wavy. I can add more photos if needed

Savoring these moments!

the moments where Moose can be next to Bear without jumping all over his face are few and far in between😅 Bears been good at correcting him when he’s being too much and we intervene a bunch to give him a break but sometimes Moose just goes right back to bothering him, it’s like he doesn’t learn from the correction😭

Brazil's courts have ruled that dogs and cats are legally recognized as sentient beings, not property. The decision strengthens penalties for mistreatment and cruelty, acknowledging that companion animals can feel pain and suffering.

How big is your pup?

My bench ecs just turned one, she’s just about 22lbs. She seem so much smaller and shorter than other ECS I see online. We got her from a reputable breeder of merit. Not sure if maybe she was the runt? Or that females just vary more in size.

Ethical breeders

My friend really wants an English cocker spaniel and I’ve finally convinced her to go to an ethical breeder and not a byb genetic disaster. I’m looking for any show line ECS breeders in the Midwest preferably under 3k. I’ve looked at englishcocker.org, but honestly I just don’t know where to start. I would really appreciate some recommendations!
