Anyone have a list with phone numbers for homeless shelters for men in the Evansville area?

I saw a post on Facebook about it being time for the Food Truck Fest, and a lot of people were calling out Joe Notter. I searched the subreddit and found he was mentioned the last time we had this event, but I was wanting to know if anyone could share specifics about the guy.

I know about the owners of Comfort, the guy with Walls Organics, the Seek and Find man, but I want to know exactly what's going on with this Notter person. I will never intentionally support racists, homophobes, etc, but I'd like to be informed.

If anyone has any other businesses to avoid (or support), please let me know.

I lived in one on Corregidor circle a long time ago. I remember it being a decent neighborhood but that was a long time ago. How is it now?

Will Toyota hire you if you have a bachelors degree in like biology that’s unrelated and not useful for Toyota ? I don’t plan on using my degree in this field and just want to move into this company bc it has better financial opportunity. However, I’ve heard they can be skeptical due to the fact college students may find it difficult or leave early to work a desk job even though I won’t do that. I’m just curious if I should worry about that or not?

Im looking at different apartments, specifically a 1 bed and 1 bath or studio with some sort of access to laundry.

I saw one of there rental properties pop up on Zillow rentals. Is ERS management a single person? A group of people? Are they decent landlords/ladys?

The hobnob is an old bar that's been there forever, and I thought it was closed and possibly even completely abandoned, but people act like sometimes you see people in there, and I just recently saw an entry on TouchTunes for them. I thought they had closed down before TouchTunes was a thing, so I'm curious, does anyone know anything about them being open again? The bar I'm referring to is at 6th and Maryland close to what used to be Rosie's diner. It's two blocks off of Fulton, and technically, it's right next to Mr. Liquor, because I think it takes up the whole block. That would be the back of it that faces Columbia Street though, and I think there at 6th avenue is where there is or used to be an ice house where you could buy ice. Across the street is a skatepark.

Hey guys! Hope everyone is doing awesome! Quick question for you guys. Does anyone in Evansville play Kendama? Kendama is a Japanese skill toy that goes back centuries. It has gained popularity over the past 20 years in america to the point some people make careers out of it. It has three cups and a spike on it. The goal as a player is to get the ball into the three different cups, onto the spike etc. The possibilites are endless once you see pros doing it. There are already other groups in larger cities and i want to start a page, and a group to meet bi weekly/monthly/whatever so I can help grow the sport and bring people together! There isn't alot to do in evansville so im aiming to help change that even if in a very small way. If you've never tried it before its the perfect time to start! Its very affordable to get into and the friends and people you'll meet will be more than worth the cost! Just wanted to warn anybody that reads this about a man named Jason Robinson. His current contracting company is Titan LLC, their website is titanupky.com.

Jason has been a nightmare to work with. He gave an estimate on knob and tube wiring in our attic for $2820 and 6 hours of work. He showed up late Monday when he said he would be early to beat the heat in the attic. He didn't finish Monday (5/11) and left a mess, said he would be back early Tuesday to finish. Showed up late again, didn't finish again, but all he had to do was reconnect the lights in the rooms. Said he would be back Wednesday (5/13) to finish. I *stupidly* gave him the check early, but we made a contract and both signed it that said he would finish the job, detailing the remaining work. He didn't show up at all of course and said he would be back 5/14. He constantly told us to find someone else. On 5/14 he showed up at noon AGAIN, still didn't finish, left holes in the walls and 4 lights still aren't working, and now he ghosted. We will be pursuing legal action for the cost of the remaining work, since he signed an agreement. Please avoid this man Jason Robinson out of Morganfield KY

Edit to add: What I am missing is the ability to grab some on the fly when I stop at a gas station that I have to stop at anyway. Yes I am aware movie theaters sell popcorn....

Hi ! Just wondering if anyone might have any extra dry & wet cat food they won’t be using and would want to donate it ? I have 6 inside cats ( I feed them no problem ) but 5-6 outdoor cats that are strays , they have been coming by daily for 2-5 years, they are all fixed, but it’s just getting too expensive to keep feeding them on my own, on top of my inside 6 and the cat litter that comes with that. I’m trying, I am. Thank you in advance.

Okay not for myself but a friend. She is going through a divorce, they have a house together and she just learned that her ex took a 40k loan out against the house that she didn't even know about. Shes looking for a lawyer that can help with all of this, getting rid of the house and everything all tied into it.
