What’s up!

First post here. I’m going to be moving later this year for work and to move closer to family. I’m deciding to buy a home versus renting for a number of reasons.

Because I’m not super familiar with the area, what homebuilder or neighborhood in Evansville or surrounding area would you recommend?

Budget doesn’t matter right this second. I’m mostly just looking for a starting point.

Also, while I’m at it, best bar? Lmao.

Anyone have any experience with getting an electric clothes dryer repaired?

Would like to get ours looked at, but don’t want to pay a lot for the diagnostic/estimate fee. If we do that then pay to get it fixed, might as well just buy a new one.

Just for reference, it is making a horrible grinding like noise when it starts up. It lasts about a minute, then goes away. Doesn’t do it on other start ups once it’s warmed up and been ran for one cycle. But if we let it sit for a bit to cool off, it’ll do it again.

My neighbor is now actively blowing off all his stuff right outside my window. Fuck him and they have dogs. If I called the cops nothing would happen cause half the city is bowing off stuff. Fucking red neck white rash. Debris is going everywhere and it’s not like he’s gonna clean it up. This is such bullshit every year. Do it in a parking lot dirtbag.

I’m 18 and wanting to take a girl I’m really interested in to a fun or nice place. Mostly for us to be able to enjoy time doing stuff together without a lot of interference from other people. Any good spots?

20% of the fireworks went IN the river and I can get more chest vibrations out of my car's stock bass speakers. Too long of interludes and too short of a show. Last year was better than this.

Not like my opinion is going to change anything, just thought I'd voice my disappointment and see who agrees.

Do go to libraries, Costco, parks, or read? Possible take long walks around the universities? Let me know.

Anyone know who to call about a baby raccoon? Mom hasn't shown up at all hoping she'll one tonight we found it in the backyard. It's very young.

Ok, so if anyone asked me where is the best, solid, complete-your-day club sandwich is. I'd think Lic's or Ritzy's or Weinbach's (yes, I'm old)
But I want to know where the most amazing under-appreciated club sandwich is. Served with grippos? Maybe.

Hello! 26F just moved to the area from Virginia so I’m looking for good recommendations for places to hangout, or some fun activities around the area. All recommendations welcome!

A bunch of facilities are running on skeleton crews and some don't have nursing staff for the full 24 hours, I some times see some staff from one facility end up basically swapping jobs at another facility like musical chairs.

My line of work allows me to visit a lot of these places on a daily basis.

I've been looking for a new job for a couple weeks now, calling and emailing all varieties of jobs with little to no response. Amcor, FedEx, and Lewis Bakery have all been ruled out and Walmart says reapply on the 17th. I don't have a license right now, and rely on Uber/Lyft/Mets, so I can't do anything that requires driving/delivery.

I am reliable, drug-free, have no visible criminal record, and I am currently back in school working on a high school diploma, so I need something (preferably part-time) to work in the meantime, does anyone have any leads?

I'm 19, f. I think being a girl is one of the hardest things that you can do. You can't go to a drive-through without getting hit on half the time, or even walk your dog down the street without getting stopped three times. Now, of course this isn't an every day issue but on most days it is. I'm curious to why men think that they can just hit on you whenever.. there is a time and place for everything just not when I'm trying to get my burger from a damn window. Honestly, as a woman, I wonder if men have the same issue. I was in the middle of my lunch, rush and had 30 minutes to get back to my work building, which is across town almost in a completely different city. As soon as I got to the window, this man who looked roughly 10 years older than I did was telling me how I was the most beautiful girl he's ever seen, and if I was single. Now I don't mind people flirting, but really dude? I mean, did he think he was going to get my number?
