Stefanski speaking on qb reps in OTAs; where Penix is at with team activities

Heading into the summer, it feels like Tua is gonna have the leg up in terms of full team reps. Tua doing 11 on 11, Penix only doing 7 on 7s.

Can Tua return to pre 2025 form?

As a Dolphins fan, I have always been a big Tua fan, but this past season something was way off. He was missing throws he usually makes in his sleep. He was holding on to the ball when he usually gets it out the fastest in the NFL. He was less mobile as well, and his arm had very little juice on it. He was just a completely different QB in 2025. Before that, he was a borderline Pro Bowl QB who was the main reason the Dolphins started winning again. When Tua was healthy, they were like the equivalent of an 11-6 team. When Tua did not play, they had a record of 5-12. If he can get back to his old self and stay that way you guys might have essentially a Baker Mayfield situation.

Definitely promote Nate Ollie if we need up losing him.

Who's your favorite "one year" Falcon?

As the title says it has to be someone who only played one season for us. Doesn't have to be the best player but one you always liked. I have three. Curious if they're anyone else's favorites too:

Dwight Freeney - Dude had a big impact I'm sure as a mentor and a veteran to our young defense. I wonder if he would've still been helpful if he was around past 2016 in some capacity.

Todd Gurley - I just wanted it to work out. I know it didn't and I know he screwed up that one game scoring a TD but I still appreciated him nonetheless. Seems like a good dude too.

Byron Leftwich - Yeah, I'm delusional but I loved the dude in Jacksonville and was excited for him to come to Atlanta. He actually didn't look too bad either when replacing Sunshine but yeah...what a season.
