I’m having a hard time understanding the weeding proscess, I understand that some weeds need different tools (ie a hoe, Werder, or herbicide) but I don’t understand exactly what weeds do and how to prevent them from growing (I originally thought to just weed them when their small and it’d prevent the large or partial weeds but it doesn’t seem to. Am I making a mistake or what?

Me and a few buddies are running an always-online FS25 multiplayer server on a custom-built 4X map called Oxford Township, and we’re looking for more players to join the operation.

Hi all,

I have a buffalo barn with 50 buffalo and I’m making mozzarella with their milk. They’ll have calves in a couple of months, but the max capacity of the barn is 80.

What’s the optimum strategy here? Do I need to keep the count lower (say 60-65) so there’s room for newborns, then sell the calves once they arrive? But in that case I’d only be using part of the capacity most of the time, which feels inefficient.

If I fill it up to 80 buffalo, I’m assuming no new calves will be born since there’s no space for them?

How do you guys manage your barns? Do you sell calves right away, raise them up and rotate out older animals, or just keep the barn slightly under capacity?

I’ve just started playing… and I have to ask: what’s up with the really weird harvesting and seeding patterns of the hired workers. They seem to be working from the inside of the field outward, but take forever to line things up, work in weird directions, and skip what seems to be obvious turns.

Did the AI get dumber this game? (Which is really saying something, as the AI has never been the highlight of this series. I’ve been playing for almost a decade.)

Hi all! I have tried Google and Reddit threads, but can't seem to find the exact answer I need.

My wife has a PS5 and I have a Switch 2. We would love to farm together, but I can't seem to nail down which version of the game would be best. I think FS25 and FSSE have crossplay to each other, but I can't seem to confirm it.

Hey all, apologies if this has been asked/talked about but I couldn’t find any reference when I searched this subreddit. Just wondering if anyone knows or has heard of anything about The White Farm coming to FS25? I know the modder, Ka77e, has made a couple maps already but I can’t seem to find if that modder is on social media or anything anywhere. Thanks for the help in advance y’all, happy farming!

I haven't played alot of farm sim lately and before i stopped playing i was enjoying my save on kinlaig. But now i can't get into that save anymore wich makes me abandoning kinlaig. I was playing on ps5 with year 1 and year 2 pass. I am now looking for a new map on pc(only have year 1 pass at the moment). I like to do a bit of everything. A bit of arable farming a bit of forestry with tree harvesters, a bit of animals and some productions. Does any one have a map they can recommend. Haven't played much mod maps in the past so don't realy know how to choose one
