Q&A: OWNERS of Moza FCS ‘Farming Control System’ — What is your first verdict?

Q&A: OWNERS of Moza FCS ‘Farming Control System’ — What is your first verdict?

  1. Has it meet your expectations, why or why not?
  2. Did you own any peripherals beforehand, if so, which one(s), and how does it complement or even replace any of them?

Hopefully this thread can help presumptive buyers decide if they should stay the hype train or not.

Do you like the base game maps?

Does anyone else like/prefer the base game maps? I really think that FS25 really brought some very nice maps to the game. Riverbend is probably the best, small US map in my opinion. And, I think Kinlaig is superb! I’m really looking forward to seeing what this new South American map is going to be like.

Being on console, I would prefer to use my limited free space for mods like tractors or productions or things like that. There are some nice looking mod maps, don’t get me wrong. But, oftentimes for me anyway they can be buggy. And, having to download 10+ required mods seems crazy. Just curious if anyone else feels the same.

How do you sell grass and stuff?

So, I’m a complete moron and cannot figure out how to sell the bales of grass on my little trailer. When I arrive at the place that buys them, all I can do is unload onto the pavement next to the spot that shows where I’m supposed to sell them at. Which means I have to pick it all back up again.

It’s an auto-loading trailer if that is of any help at all.

I tried to look it up and it seems every video on the subject assumes I’m not an idiot and skips the part where you actually SELL the grass and shows how to find out where to sell it and how to get good prices.

I need to know how to unload it at the place where I sell it.

Welp I’m addicted again

Been on a break while playing fallout 76 again but I came across some videos of new maps out so back to FS25 I go. Started a new map Hawkeye Iowa and I’m loving it. Few little changes I’d like but over all I’m very impressed. Got 4 farms going with my main farm, public works dept, a heavy haul and equipment service, plus an aggregate quarry. Each farm operating independently with their own income streams. Enjoy a few shots.

Equipment mod decisions?

Curious how others decide what equipment mods to get and why. I always end up looking for something and end up downloading a ton of similar things because Im mot sure of the differences.

Fs19 vs fs22 vs fs25

I got a free version of fs19 and I love playing it, I'm considering upgrading to fs22 or fs25, I don't use mods so it would mainly be for graphics and possible new features, I haven't done much research Does anyone have any opinions?

Im an American and I love Polish maps

I dont know if its the sheer talent of the mapmakers or just the beauty of the land or a combination but i have yet to play a Polish map I didnt like.

I even picked me up a book on the History of Poland because I realized I was ignorant on the subject except for WW2 stuff.

Silage issues

(PC User) I was doing a large scale silage operation on a 4x map and I filled 4 bunkers to about 2,850,000 and one to about half that. I blanketed them and when I came back into the save the silos had a ton of what looked like spikes of blanketed silo all readying about 89,000 liters. Why did this happen? I have thousands of hours in this game and have never experienced it. Is it the way I placed my bunkers? Is it the map? Or am I lucky to have gotten away with it until now?

Complete explanation of the extra crop types in FS25? What do they actually do?

Hey everyone,
I’m playing FS25 and my current ModMap (Pallegney) save has a ton of additional crop types that show up on almost every modded map, things like triticale, rye, spelt, winter wheat, summer barley, green rye, mustard, clover, alfalfa, and many more.

I understand the real-life differences between these crops, but I’m not sure how much of that actually matters in the game. So far, I haven’t found any official documentation or a complete list that explains what each of these “extra fruits” actually does in FS25.

My questions:

  • Do these crops have any real gameplay differences compared to base-game wheat/barley/oats/etc?
  • Are there unique advantages (yield, price, growth calendar, straw amount, animal feed value)?
  • Or are most of them basically reskinned versions of existing crops unless the map creator adds special mechanics?
  • Are crops like clover or alfalfa actually better for animal feed on certain maps?
  • Is there any central resource (wiki, spreadsheet, mod list, Reddit post) that explains all these extra fruit types?

I’d love to understand what I’m planting instead of just guessing.

Thanks!

Production is extremely slow compared to selling raw crops.

Playing on Alma, MO. I built a Spinnery on my farm. I've been taking my wool to it. I get one pallet of fabric every other month.

I bought the tailor in town, and I've taken both pallets of fabric there. It's been two months and I've yet to see any clothes be produced.

Everything is set to storeage so I can wait until the price is right.

I also have cheese being produced from the Dairy in town, which I own. I waited for the price of cheese to go up and sold. Only got about $50k after months of work.

Meanwhile, I can harvest my fields and get a +$200,000 on raw material alone.

Does anyone buy and sell pallets for profit to get quick cash?

I know you can just mod in money or use a subsidy but ive recently been loading up a truck with sunflower pallets and then selling them at a selling point for a higher price.

I sort of pretend im a farmer doing a trucking contract for extra money. Feels more satisfying than just modding in money

John Deere vs Case IH.

As my Alma farm continues to expand, and I find myself needing more tractors, I've come to a crossroads. Do I expand with John Deere or Case IH? Or another wild card? Right now I have these 4 tractors and a John Deere Combine but I am almost to the point of needing a second Combine. Decisions decisions....
