[WIP Map] Pioneer Map – 4× PC‑Only (Work in Progress)

Pioneer Map gives you the freedom to shape your own farming setup on a large, open landscape. Whether you start from scratch or jump in as a new farmer, the map is built so you can do things your way. The basics are there so you can get going, and the rest is up to your imagination.

The map is a full 4× area, giving you plenty of space for big machinery and whatever layout you prefer.
This will be a PC‑only release due to the map size.

Farmlands & Layout

• 52 farmlands ranging from 2.5 ha to 45 ha, all with clear natural borders
• Forestry areas in the north, southeast, and west
• Large flat open spaces with rolling hills further out
• 5 fields total, including the starter field
• All fields have contracts available
• Grass outside designated fields is decorative only and gives no yield unless cultivated first

Roads & Terrain

• Roads are paintable terrain textures
• You can remove them, repaint them, or place your own road textures/placeables
• Additional paintable terrain textures included

Farms & Buildings

• Starter farm in New Farmer mode with basic equipment
• Starter farm is set up for grass farming
• Two additional farmsteads available for purchase
• All buildings and placeables on all three farms can be sold through the Construction menu

Water & Extras

• Water available at the lake for a small fee
• Highlands DLC players can fish at the lake
• Customized license plate included

Additional Crops

Rye, spelt, triticale, green rye, vetched rye, mustard, humus active, silage maize, flowering catch crop, winter wheat, summer wheat, winter barley, summer barley, alfalfa, clover.

Design Idea

The map is made with a minimalistic and basic approach, keeping everything simple so the player can use their imagination. This map will not be for everyone, as it offers large flat open spaces, rolling hills further out, and dedicated forestry areas.

Was playing as normal, noticed that new mods were out on Modhub, so I saved the game and exited. Had a browse through the new mods and noticed that 3 of the mods I downloaded needed an update so I updated as you do. Re-entered the map and now the FPS has literally taken a nosedive. Tried restarting the game, still nothing.

Clip has not been modified, that clip was recorded immediately after loading in.

Did anyone hear that Big Flats Texas by TK Farms from FS22 will come or is planned to be released for FS25 crossplay/the modhub?

Or does anyone have news on the topic?

I couldn’t find any information or channels where TK farms shares news of their projects.

Morning everybody. Today was the big mow/row/and bale day for my farm. Pulled a total of 20 bales off my little field, some of which will go to feed the goats as just grass, and the rest will go into storage to ferment. Wanted to take a second to catch a cool shot before it was all said and done though. Enjoy!

So today I spend some time decorating my farm, one step I took was adding another path to the field across my property. I wanted it to look just as the vanilla pathways but unfortunately I can’t find any options to add that dark green grass that usually sits around the pathways. On the picture you can see what I mean, the grass I planted there with the terrain editor is a totally different colour than the original one. Some might think this is totally unnecessary bullshit but for me it’s such an important detail.
