I'm getting the game and Geese is the character I'm most interested in. I tried him a bit in CVS2 bit and my hand brakes on his supers. Although modern ff probably is a bit more lenient on inputs.
Can I still play him optimally if I lose the extra dmg on his true inputs?

Kula Diamond: More female characters would be fantastic. Kula has a dynamic with Ángel, and her design can moveset can be remixed with more of K'. Run character
King: Self explanatory. If we have Robert, are getting Ryo, and she is in the Street Stars bar already. We also need more effective projectile Zoners of different styles that run.
Mai Shiranui's classic costume: Just throw it in as apart of the DLC season
ADELHEID BERNSTEIN & Iori Yagami: While this post is mostly to point out the game is severely lacking in women, Adelheid would be SO SICK as a new rival for Rock, and Iori aged up would be an excellent foil to Terry Bogard. They both run.

Haven't played the game since Joe dropped. I see they've done a massive overhaul on the menu since then. It sucks. It really sucks. But whatever, I hit the button for training mode and it puts me straight into Training with Vox and Terry on Geese's stage. Why? Then I have to open the menu to go back to the character select to pick the characters I actually want to practice with , still on the same stage?????
How do I fix this or what is the route for more traditional training options?

I just got the game today. Even really small combos in trials I can't do.
Like this one I have to do a close a and a close y followed by a down forward punch
But I don't know how to strong the close a and close y even lol. If I hit the buttons fast or slow they just aren't stringing aha.
Any advice would be appreciated

The only issue is that there is currently no new *Streets of Rage* game being released. Crossover characters are meant for mutual promotion.
In terms of worldview, it is a great fit, but in terms of business collaboration, it is not feasible.
We know that SEGA, or a studio licensed by them, is developing a brand-new 3D *Streets of Rage* game. It was originally announced alongside the new *Crazy Taxi* title; now that the new *Crazy Taxi* is confirmed for release next year, perhaps we’ll soon see new details about the new *Streets of Rage* as well.
(This is the character that comes closest to Tifa that I can think of.)
The Karate III legion and Kenshiro reinforcements have finally fallen. Frame 1 counters, Ridiculous damage, Secret Hokuto Shinken techniques; I fought many a Karate, and got Omae wa'd countless times. But you know what? I did it. 🏆 (I been working on it since Karate III came out.)
I learned alot about the game trying to rise up the ranks with Mary. I'm still not elite, but I am learning. Sorry for writing a novel, but I love this game lol.
You sometimes may have noticed when you connected with a jump in or cross up how you couldn't then combo. or perhaps your attack was blocked, but you cannot press buttons for pressure as you lack advantage.
like, i once had a crossup blocked and i was immediately thrown while i was hitting my lights.
in the above video my jump in connected so hit my lights as per usual, but bam i was hit with an invincible reversal. it wasn't a matter of spacing as i was right point blank. but you can see i connected quite high, on the head of the opponent. and that was the prob really i suppose.
it's also like if you're trying to combo a heavy jump in into a heavy, how that might seem finicky. truth is you're supposed to hit your attack more in the stomach/crotch area than the head.
this all can be a key thing because it means a lost combo, lost pressure etc, and the opponent actually can gain advantage or momentum in the fight even tho they by all accounts failed.
because COTW is practically speaking so much on aggression, offense and rushdown, mixed with two touch gameplay, this again shows how such an interaction can be costly.
in the flurry of things you may not be keeping track of something so minute, so for many players it will feel like rolling dice. but it's something to remember.
I'm new to City of the Wolves, and it feels like Mary can just counter and grab any character I use off ANY interaction. I can't seem to block anything because even blocking lets her combo into a command grab. How do you stop all her offense?
(If it helps, I mostly use Jenet and Mai atm.)
We got some animated promotional material that teased characters like Krauser and Mr. Karate before their release, just like we got for Kenshiro, and then, shortly after those characters dropped, we were treated to animated shorts that primarily focused on them, and even featured footage from those teasers. I think a short like that featuring Kenshiro would be pretty neat, considering how badass his animated teasers were, and it would be nice to see the whole story of what happened in them, but almost a week after Kenshiro's release, we haven't gotten anything of the sort. You think there's still hope for something like that? I'd like to think there is, because an animated Kenshiro trailer is too good to let go to waste.
