Last night I was looking for the brightness setting and found it under the Display, HUD section. Did you all know this game has a built in contrast modifier? Increasing the modifier gives the characters in this game the hard outline like Marvel VS Capcom 3. In my opinion, it drastically improves the games visuals, which I didn't mind previously. I highly recommend you all try it. Don't go too or else the background will go completely black, but definitely try it out. The artistic scratchy shading with high contrast really gives it a unique look.

I bought it yesterday and I'm absolutely loving it—it's really challenging. I'm playing as Gato and really enjoying it; I don't get why it has such bad reviews and a small player base. Personally, I'm not usually into these kinds of games—I have SC6 and T8, but I like this one way more than those. Could you tell me if the game has a long-term future? I'm waiting for Virtua Fighter 6, but I'll be playing this one in the meantime.

Not that the dust has settled, I don’t think SNK will make a major shift to the mechanics or has the balls to make 2 lanes and ring outs universal. And tbh both are an afterthought and for nostalgia sake. A proper 2 lane system is in the Real Bout series.

I rank it below Garou mark of the wolves, which means 5th place. I consider the real bout series the best FF games. SNK should have never ditched 2 lanes especially after they made it so integrated and fluid. Ring outs had their flavor. Even low tier characters had a chance to win due to how they worked in different stages.

REV system sucks and SNK wanted to chase the sf6 crowds with it, let’s be real. They failed miserably. Like drop the fanboy hat for a sec… do you really get excited when they release a character when at the end of the day they are all slaves to the bad mechanics? Story is below mid, some characters I don’t even know what they’re on about anymore (Geese, Billy, Rock), Happy endings for everyone because the game isn’t going beyond COTW. Lifeless and sleep inducing stages that FF3 put them to shame. Terrible balancing and some moves not evolved with the mid system (Geese’s counters).

Obviously SNK was going through a shift near MOTW and had to change things to make things interesting to keep the company afloat. However, that never helped because most of people in the west love Crapcom and SNK was and still niche to them. lol I would put it blow FF3 but that game had everything right except the gameplay.

I'm playing the game on PS5, and as you can imagine, the analog stick is drifting and is causing me to walk back and forth or dash unintentionally, is there a way to turn off the analog stick so I can play with only the D pad? Tekken 8 has this option, but I can't find it in this game

I recently purchased both of them but almost everything about them on YouTube guide wise is 4 years old. I dont know how much the series have changed since launch but i would like to see more up to date stuff. If needed ill just use whatever the best wiki is

Side note which game plays roughly at the speed of either sfv or strive, i struggled a whole hell of a lot in the tokon beta to the point i think that game and level of stuff going on isn't for me.

Also play 2xko and sf6 but a at a fairly low level being hard stuch gold and plat respectively
