I feel like I’m in the minority and am not sure if my dad does…making me a little self conscious. Or is he just hiding it ?

Love to understand what are the difficult parts of raising a boy. He’s due in December and would love some support. HMU

Grew up with single mom, never had any father son experiences, or rather any of the basic at home father son experiences. Now that I am a father, everything is new and uncharted territory. I mean this sincerely, from the ​bathing with kid, to the shaving with him watching me, boners, peeing together, basically day to day basic stuff as a parent and having a penis. Anyone have any advice?

Recently my son (age 13) and I were using a family shower stall at a campground. He started asking a bunch of questions even tho he’s seen me nude many times. He asked questions about my penis. His penis. My size. Size. The questions were endless. Did this happen to anyone else. Was it awkward? DMs also open.

This story is not mine but I witnessed, in summer I have a group of friends (all married and over 40) that the 4 of us go to a nudist beach in Jersey to enjoy the sand, the sea and the girls. Last weekend, one of them brought his son who is in the final teens with him and I was surprised because we will be naked and we are all older men. I have no problem with that. I was just surprised but welcome kiddo.

Upon arrival we prepared the place with the tent, chairs and coolers, we took off our clothes and were naked, he stayed in a swimsuit and is fine. Like at the time, he asked the dad if he could take it off (he had already gone into confidence to what the dad said yes) as he was comfortable, he took off his swimsuit and was naked with us but I could notice that he was watching us I imagine because of the difference in bodies and body hair.

Already in the afternoon, there was an incredible modeling of hot girls passing in front of us and he caught many glances. He started having a boner and he’s kind of embarrassed and we all told him that it was normal and he was fine, not to hide and another friend who was in the group made him the joke that happened to all of us and he himself showed his boner because he was also hard haha so it was a good afternoon of camaraderie and confidence. We all feel good and I think it helped his self-confidence, he asked to come back with us next time.

It’s summer time where we live and I was at my friends house for the week. His dad was out of town for the week and we both were bored. I came over to hang out with him for the week and we chilled, played video games and went swimming in their pool and were naked the whole time as we’re comfortable with each other. Last Thursday night/Friday morning at like 2 AM, his dad came home. He walked in my friends room and I felt a change in the room so I woke up but pretending to be asleep. I’m 23 and grew up in a house were nudity was never happening. I’m home from college for the summer and lately I’ve been curious to know what my dad thinks about my adult body in general but also about my penis. When I was younger he saw it, like at doctors appointments but now I’m curious to know what he thinks and maybe that could make our bond stronger. Do you ever had the same desire as a son? or that ever happened to you as a dad? I thought that the quickest way to get that is by getting caught jerking off by him, but I’m not sure. What has happened in society that current generations of dads and sons are not ok with nudity and everyone is ashamed of their bodies. How do we change that narrative to raise boys to be confident of their bodies and not ashamed.

So my son loves footbal(soccer) and so did i when i was younger and we still watch football(soccer). Waiting for the new seasons. Wben he was 10 i made him dk football pratice and he got good at it. But his bestfriends does wrestling and he does it also. What seems to be for the fun is taking another turn to be something he admires too and wants to do. Is there a balance or should i let him figure out which one he likes best.. football we watch.. we train sometimes.. but i mean i dont have wrestling experience. What would you do if your son wants to switch careerd.. dads help me out.
