Surprised i didnt post this a while back...
This was from this morning. I'm still working on the sword. My final fantasy hyper fixation is back again lmao
Hi,
For a thousand times, i decide to play FF7 OG, so i bought it on my PS5 Pro.
I know that the PS4 version have some issues with BGM but apart from that...
I have actually encounter three bugs in less that 15 hours of playing.
2.Just before the encounter of JENOVA during the boat event, all my characters have the limit permanently full, same for the HP and MP. I'm basically a God 😅
Context: People are worried FF7R Part 3 will release in the Fiscal Year (starting April 1st, 2027) due to Part 3 being absent from Square Enix’ recently released financial reports & financial forecast. Maximilian Dood among other creators uploaded videos on the topic.
I've seen this topic going crazy these past couple days. I did a bunch of digging & found some interesting tidbits (TL;DR at the end):
I did some digging due to this whole debate & found some interesting tidbits.
Per Japan's & Tokyo Stock Exchange's laws; a company's financial reports & financial forecast can omit titles that have yet to be announced. As long as the expected revenue remains as close as possible to a realistic expectation (& said expected revenue may include revenue generated from unrevealed titles).
Basically, the financial forecast that shows us Evercold & REBIRTH for Switch 2 does NOT have to publicly disclose FF7R Part 3, even if it releases in FY2027 (before March 31st, 2027). The expected revenue can include Part 3’s contribution, without actually disclosing its involvement to said number.
A reminder that last year, Capcom released their financial report & forecast BEFORE Resident Evil Requiem was announced. Their expected revenue was claiming to stem from the Monster Hunter IP among other things, but mentioned nothing about RE9, since it was a marketing secret at the time.
Even after RE9's announcement, there was no revision for the forecast. & we only got an update from Capcom AFTER RE9 released (not just announced, but full-blown released to play), in April 2026. We then got an updated financial report which confirmed RE9 was successful &
surpassed the aforementioned revenue forecast.
The last point, is let's say Part 3 does release within this Fiscal Year, the projected revenue Square put out could easily include Part 3. The number they put out is quite impressive & I'd be a little surprised if only Evercold, REBIRTH Switch 2 & merch attained that goal. FY2026 included the MTG collab, which did record breaking numbers for WotC as well. Not to mention MTG players picking up FF for the very first time due to the collab. Plus Tactics, REMAKE Switch 2, DQ games, Octopath & merch/concerts etc.
Yet, Square forecasted a similar total revenue for FY2027, with almost only REBIRTH Switch 2 & Evercold? Dawntrail was the best selling XIV Expansion with ¥55B in net sales. Square is projecting almost ¥300B for FY2027. Even if Evercold somehow hits ¥100B, that leaves ~¥200B. We all know REBIRTH Switch 2 will be less than Evercold’s contribution. Let’s say it somehow nets ¥50B, that leaves ~¥150B+ to fill. I’m aware the MTG stuff is still selling, but at a fraction of the initial launch (limited time sealed products & events have been exhausted). Can merch & some discounted games sales really achieve that? Or do they have something up their sleeve?
Anyway…
All this to say, FF7R Part 3 could technically, legally still release before March 31st, 2027. It is very possible for it to be at SGF. Will it be the case for either point? Only time will tell. Personally, I'm leaning towards a SGF reveal with a release anywhere between February to April.
TL;DR : Square Enix can legally omit FF7R Part 3 from the financial report/forecast, as long as the expected revenue is realistic & includes the earnings from everything including unrevealed titles. Which means it is entirely possible for Part 3 to release within this Fiscal Year (BEFORE March 31st, 2027). Keyword; possible. Not guaranteed!
I’m breeding a great male with a great female have gotten a green female, am trying to get a blue male. I’ve done the 10 battles and won 4 races beforehand but every single time i mate I get a green male. It’s been atleast 20 reloads and it’s always green male.
WTF else do I need to do to randomize the offspring?
Edit: waiting outside the barn near the paddock for a few minutes forced the seed to change and I was able to get the chocobo I needed for my black then gold
I kind of miss gaming from back in the day, the game kind of expected you to spend a ridiculous amount of time trial and erroring different combos of completely RNG stuff to unlock amazing things. At most you had the Prima strategy guide to help out. We had the internet but people weren’t making as in depth breakdowns as they do today and even when they did it was harder to find if you didn’t know where to look already
I feel like there are so many people that just like to rip and tear about the remakes, and then go on and on about how they're the worst games to ever exist, and that it's inferior to the original, and therefore it also sucks as a game on its own.
I've played both remakes, and I think both of them are really decent experiences, sure they have issues, but it doesn't take away much of the experience for both.
It feels hard to like something if a majority just wants to see it burn like >!nibilheim!<. I just felt like I needed to say this because of how many people talk trash about the remakes, you don't have to agree, but that's fine.
Very very randomly remembered something from years and years back. Thought I could finally put something to bed so appealing to the FF7 community! Because there is such a thing now!
Okay, so back in the day (late 90s) I borrowed FF7. Friend of mine told me it had an incredible story and he wasn't joking - I remember it being captivating. I also eventually remember getting really stuck on some part and ultimately put the game down and never picked it up again. Strange to think that was over 26 years ago!
Was younger then (as you might imagine) but a rather old man nowadays. But I somehow still remembered this part. Please bear with me though through hazy memories:
There's a part where the party find a castle which has an upside down castle on top of it. I think someone goes in there or something, or they need something from inside.
One of the characters (I can legitimately remember I called him "The Flaming Beavis") - I think had red hair, found him fairly arrogant says something vaguely along the lines of "I'll go in and get them/find this thing by myself" - because I had something of a dislike to him I let him go in alone. Then we have to wait and wait as he doesn't emerge, and then eventually it's decided to go in and look for him.
Going back into the "double castle" then seemed to trigger just endless enemy encounters. Had no idea where to look but I knew if I kept walking around there'd just be encounters over and over and over again. It sapped the life out of the game and I put it down.
To this day cursing that decision!
If any passing lore-masters see this and have a little while to tell me the following (and provided I've made any sense at all here ofc) I'd be immensely grateful!
(Maybe also make it light on spoilers just in case I want to try the game out one day again! I mean, I'm straight up asking for some, but hopefully you see what I mean if I'm at risk of ruining things for myself!)
1 - Should I have let him go alone?
2 - Where THE FUCK is he?
3 - What happens following?
Apologies in advance for the wildly random post! I was just reminded of this this morning and thought I'd type it all out and see what happened.
Thanks everyone for reading this. :)
