The car was running fine before and after sitting for about a week it won’t start. It didn’t want to start before it dies whenever it was hot, so I figured the starter was bad and a replaced it. All of the accessories work when I turn the key, I hear the fuel pump, but I don’t hear anything once I try to start the car. Battery has 12.5V and the wire to the starter from the battery also has 12.5V. The other wire with a pink and (orange?) wire has 0V both when the key is in the lock and start positions. I’m not good with electrical so any help would be amazing.

Suzuki Fiero - CDI unit replacement advice

I have a 2002 Suzuki Fiero. Yesterday, I found that the plastic on the CDI unit is melting and has some melted residue on the parts underneath. Not sure what is causing it.

I am unable to find the CDI unit for Fiero online. Can someone help ? OR Advice of any suitable replacement from any other bike? It's kinda urgent, so any help would be much appreciated.Thanks.

1986 Fiero 2M4. Original engine.

When the car is warm, or when the car has been idling for a few minutes, it will let out a big puff of blue smoke when either starting, or applying the accelerator.

When the car is cold, it doesn’t seem to do that.

No smoke while driving (that I can obviously see)

I have a new PCV valve to be installed.

Does this sound like PCV or something more serious?

Hi, I have a 3800sc swapped into an 87gt. When I turn the key on, the fuel pump doesn’t prime. 2/3 seconds later the relay clicks. If I take the relay off and jump the terminals the pump does work. (I just used this to drain some pretty old gas.) Where would you start?

Im the only active mod here. I took over years ago because it was unmoderated, It's a pretty quiet place and I just remove the occasional spam/common repost.

Yes the title is correct, i recently replaced my 87 fiero's rear sub frame and suspension with one off an 88 (old one rotted out) and since getting it back together and running it has done nothing but break the linkage for the shifter, specially the one handling the up/down movement on the stick, we've modified the shifter on the trans to better suit it and have narrowed down the point of failure to the firewall crimping it, though im gonna ask yall if there is any other fail points yall can think of, i appreciate anything yall can come up with and sorry for the massive text wall!

I was curious to know which issue causes worst fuel economy on a 88 fiero formula a o2 sensor or faulty Egr solenoid, I currently have code 32 goin on when freeway cruising but have no issues with how the car runs but I notice that I have very poor fuel economy and was wondering if a faulty Egr solenoid really effects it that much or could it just be a lazy o2 sensor.

I collapsed the caliper but it keeps uncallapsing and I can't get it back on the rotor.

I replaced the brake hose so is that why? Does it need to be bled?
