His performance seems to be divisive even outside of just the novelty of Deebo from Friday being cast against type while playing the president of all things

Either people seem to love or hate him

Honestly I think he’s one of the weaker actors in the movie but is still…fine

I get what they’re going for; he’s the one calm presence in an otherwise frantic room just trying to listen and figure the situation out so it makes sense he’s not that emotive

And he does well towards the end when he does get to loosen up plus some of his physical acting, especially that nervous look he does towards the end that’s become a meme, is good

So honestly…he’s alright
