Preview of the most ridiculous Chegui to date.

Matt sent me a photo of my finished 16oz AA Chegui and they look pretty good! I asked him to make a pair out of the most ridiculous material he could find and we went with Barramundi leather on the lower outer fist. The world’s first fish leather boxing glove?

definitely doing a review on them later.

Hayabusa T360 Leather gloves

I got a pair of hayabusa t360 leather, and I must say they feel great. I always had a "wrist issue", so thats a bonus aswell.

Hitting feels amazing and the design is amazing aswell.

Customer support was fully active because I had some address issue, and it took 7-8days for them to arrive, which is amazing.

Got them at 12oz since coach said to get 12oz.

I'm probably buying Rival next just to try them, but these are beasts, nd I think they're my favorite ones.

I really recommend them, but I am suprised to see how many people here "hate" on them?

It's like a "NO-BUY" at all costs?

Wrestling shoes for boxing

Looking to pick some wrestling shoes up for boxing training. Couple days a week no competition. I like to get them because they are more versatile if you wanted to wrestle as well. Also cheaper in price Was looking at the Adidas 230 Tech Fall 2.0. Anybody have experience with them?

Selling: Winning 16oz MS-600

SOLD

Selling Used winning 16oz MS-600. I bought them brand new and haven’t really put much work into them. The embroidery is beautiful alongside the green leather but unfortunately financial hardship wins again and I have to choose to provide for my loved ones before the sport :)

Winnings are not worth it

I bought this 16oz pair 2 years ago I paid 720 cad and I was so excited to finally get a pair and honestly I was so disappointed not from the craftsmanship but from the protection and the leather resistance to scratches after 3 or 4 sessions of sparring the the gloves had so many deep scratches nothing effecting the performance but it bothered me cuz this is not a cheap glove and I was expecting better quality especially that all my other sparring gloves have years of use and barely have any scratches. And for the deal breaker for me was the protection I know winning its known for its protection it was not the case for me I injured my knuckles twice sparring in them the foam is so soft that my knuckles sink straight through the foam and connect on my partner skull and it get bruised not once or twice but everything I spar and I land a sold shot I can feel it in my bones i ended up selling them to gym buddy but he really like them i guess they not for me. I wonder if any of you guys have similar experience. Thank u

Anyone else train in barefoot shoes outside of class? Curious how common this actually is

Been doing BJJ and Muay Thai for a few years now, and about 2 years ago I started wearing barefoot/minimalist shoes (zero drop, wide toe box) for daily life and lifting. I wasn't even thinking about martial arts when I made the switch, but I've noticed a real difference in my balance and foot/ankle stability on the mats since then.

I know that most martial arts (outside boxing and wrestling) have you training barefoot anyway, so it seems like a pretty natural crossover to wear barefoot shoes the rest of the time instead of undoing all that foot strength in a pair of cushioned sneakers. I know GSP has talked about training his feet specifically because they're the first point of contact with the ground, which stuck with me.

I’m curious on how many other martial artists also use barefoot/minimalist shoes, and I have a few questions for anyone who's into this:

  1. Do you wear barefoot/minimalist shoes regularly, in or outside of training?
  2. If yes, what got you into it, and did you notice any actual difference in your game?
  3. If no, is it just not on your radar, or is there something that's kept you away from them (price, look, break-in period, etc.)?

I’m genuinely curious how common this is in the community, as the minimalist shoe space is pretty niche.

New 16oz Cleto are worth every penny!

I just finished a bag session and wow, they're amazing! The first two hooks i was like "that hurts, that's gonna be bad" but then i realized my form was off and these gloves definitely let you know!

As soon as i adjusted, everything clicked: the pop is awesome the feedback is awesome, and i was sharper then ever.

Can't wait to test them in sparring in September!

Beginner looking for boxing glove size advice (oz) & what to look out for

Hey guys, l'm buying my first pair of boxing gloves and need help picking the right size (oz) to avoid wrist/knuckle issues down the line.

• My Weight: 70kg

• Primary Use: Heavy bag work / Mitts /

Sparring

• Budget: upto ₹4000

• Location: India

A few quick questions:

  1. Which oz should I pick for my use case, and why?

  2. What are the pros/cons of going with 12oz

vs 14oz vs 16oz?

  1. What common red flags or build issues should I avoid before buying?

  2. Any reliable brands available in the Indian market that hold up well?

Thanks in advance!

Brand new Cleto!

Hi, Cleto just arrived this afternoon (i live in Italy)

This is my first high end gloves, they look awesome.

I've always had cheap Everlast and Leone 1947, but these Cleto feels so different, feels like they are firm and lighter than other 16oz i've owned, i can almost feels my knuckles through the Latex, which kinda scares me, because i thought they were hard as rock when new!

Can't wait to try them on the bag tomorrow morning!

New Additions

Just got in

- Adams Sparring Glove 16oz
Very underwhelmed on how they feel, the wrist support is decent even with how tight I’ve laced them up (I’m sure once I break em in it’ll get better). For 80 bucks cannot complain. The packaging was kind of bad, they came loose just in a plastic mail sleeve straight from the company. But I got them in like 3 days after I ordered.

- GanchoBoxing Sparring Glove 16oz
Amazing glove right out of the package, they feel phenomenal just trying on. The padding is so thick all around making it very comfy. I have hit the bag in them already for 15 rounds and they feel great.
On top of that, customer service is AWESOME. The owner answered my questions with no frustration, pretty quick within the hour (during the day time) and he would update me on my order (these gloves are made to order). Took about 3 weeks to receive them but I will for sure be ordering from them again. For $120 you can’t beat it.

Opinion about tc32

Hi guys been boxing for few years now and I’m trying to get my first “Good pair of gloves” without breaking the bank , this couple years I’ve used industrial ones like
- Everlast
- ProBoxing
- FightToFinish

You think tc32 is a good option or I need to spend 400$ ?
I spar and do some light bag work and pads

Trading Winning 16oz MS-600 for 14oz MS-500

UPDATE: TRADED

Have: Winning MS600 White

Want: Winning MS500 White (or Black)

Might be a bit of a far shot but I'm looking to trade my white MS-600 (16oz lace up) for a pair of MS-500 (14oz lace up).

The gloves are new, have been worn for 6 rounds on mitts, no sweat, nothing. The laces are very lightly discoloured, from the black colour of the mitts, but these are genuinely new. So I'd only trade for a new pair as well.

Would like for the pair to be matching colour with my white Winning sparring set but open to other offers as long as not red or blue. Selling because I simply prefer the fit of the 14oz, the hand compartment of the 16oz is too big for me.

I'm also willing to buy a new pair of Winning MS500 at reasonable price, if someone has a pair.

I'm currently in Europe so would have to be EU or UK.
