Best Boxing Gloves?

Hey guys just looking for recommendations on good gloves? I’ve been training pad/bag work and spar here and there probably 2-3 times a month.

My wrists aren’t great so that’s a factor.

Hayabusa T3 seems to be highly recommend everywhere but reddit seems to think they’re the shittiest gloves around.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks a lot!

Protective for Metacarpals

Hello,

I’m looking for protective gloves. Rival RS11V seems to be a good option, but I hear a lot about the following things; could anyone tell me with experience?

- QC issues?
- Stink issues? I always air my gloves out etc. Will they still go bad stinking quite early?
- Hard to make a good fist? Even after break in period?

Also, what would alternatives be? I’m based in Europe. Heard a lot about Hit ‘N Move Agility and Balance, but there is no place to try them out. And quite risky to order without trying I guess? Or are they blind buy worthy?

Same goes for Phenom and Paffen…

Give me your thoughts is this a W or L

Now being that the seller said there's no viable way of verifying the signature is it worth keeping?also don't kilmeh but idk the boxing announcer Jimmy Lennon Jr. I Asked a friend is he the Bruce buffer of boxing and he said he was going to report me🥀.

But besides that

Lets say you got these for

117$

Is it a w or an L?.👀

Do these gloves look real?

Just won these in an auction. Something looks off about them. Can anyone confirm if these are real? Thanks

Sobrevalorados.

Mizuno Wave Monster Ltd Edition

Just wanted to spread the word for those who are looking for Mizuno Wave Monsters boxing shoes without paying scalper prices that they are currently doing orders for their black and gold colorway.

Definitely navigate through desktop so you can translate the page to whatever language you want. *BE ADVISED* that the wait period to get them is earliest late December and then into next year.

It’s 330 USD not including shipping, taxes, tariffs etc.., but still cheaper than scalper prices. If you don’t mind the wait then definitely get the chance to cop them.

Cleto's Vs Winnings

Im looking at buying either a pair of cletos or winnings I know there's pros and cons to each and just want to hear from boxers who have owned either glove to try and help me decide what to buy, im on the fence right now. Im currently using Rival rs11V's. Ill keep them for sparring as i know if i go down the cleto route they're not nice on your opponent.

Im looking for a heavy bag/pad glove.

Also curious weather I should size down to say a 12 or 14oz or buy a pair of 16's. Ive been told mixed opinions. Mainly that you should train in 16s just to keep with the weight consistency. I doubt ill be fighting in anything lighter then 16's

Thanks for your time!

Under 100?

Hello guys i am new to boxing and i started with some cheap gloves for 20 bucks and i think its time to upgrade to something more established. Im a bit overwhelmed with all the options, what would you guys recommend, something around 100 euros maybe? I know theyre an investment so ill be willing to pay more but preferably not over 150. I would use it for both sparring and bag work. Thanks

Winning usa shipping update

I bought a set of red winning gloves 16oz, cup and head gear, November 6th 2025, and yesterday. May 19th Keitaro-san, said it was shipping out today. Of course it has to leave Japan. I have not yet paid customs or tariffs yet.

This is for anyone trying to order winning gear for winningusa.com thought it would be helpful.

TopBoxer Alien 14oz vs Win1 12oz

Hello,

I'm boxing now for 1,5 years. I'm just boxing for fun in my company (they do courses) - nothing serious.

I'm boxing on Tuesday - the workout is 1,5 hours while we do 30 mins of cardio, then 30 mins sparring (really light sparring with max 50% power to the head - body a bit more). But really light sparring. Some are using T3 12oz, another 10oz Top Ten fighting gloves, Benlee 12oz..

Last 30 mins bag work.

Wednesday is kickboxing. This is mostly partner work (partner holds up gloves) and you box the gloves and do kicks and stuff - a bit bag as well.

I'm using currently the Top Ten 12oz training glove. I like them so far. I have tried Twin 16oz in sparring. But it was soooo bulky and I felt ultra slow while good protected.

I need to fight against taller guys (I'm 180 cm) so I need to be quick and do some good feints. That is also my style on the bag. Fast hands, feints and a good leading hand game.

I'm currently down to go with TopBoxers as a allaround glove for price/value.

I'm leaning towards the Alien 14 oz - I have asked TopBoxer and they are advising me to go witz Win1 12oz (if it is really light sparring they said- what it is).

Any recommendation for my style and workout?

My hand length is 19,5 cm while my width is 9 cm if that helps.

Thank you all!

What makes expensive boxing gloves actually worth the money?

I’m researching what serious buyers look for in higher-end fight gear. I’m not trying to promote anything or ask people to validate a product. I’m trying to understand what experienced users actually value after training with different gloves.
When a glove is expensive, what makes you think the price is justified? Wrist support, knuckle protection, padding density, thumb position, hand compartment, lining, leather, stitching, balance, break-in, durability, lace-up vs Velcro, customer service, or something else?
I’m especially interested in the details that only show up after real use. For example, what starts bothering you after a few rounds? What makes a glove feel safe? What makes it feel cheap? What makes a glove feel broken in instead of worn out?
Also, where do you personally draw the line between “premium and worth it” and “overpriced because of the logo”?
Specific examples from gloves you’ve actually used would be extremely helpful. Good experiences, bad experiences, unpopular opinions, anything.

Time for new gloves

After 10 years my Ringside Contenders 16oz are finally coming apart, and it is time for new gloves. I mainly do bagwork, mitts and technical sparring, I rarely do free sparring due to a health problem. However, I do train every day or at least 6x per week and I consider boxing to be the favorite part of my daily routine and I want to treat myself to something nice, to a maximum of 500$-600$. I'll list the gloves I like below:

  1. Winning MS-300: What is there to say, they look awesome, but are they really worth it? (If I find them around the 500$ price range I'll go for it though)

  2. Rival RFX-Guerrero P4P: I don't know whether their quality is good enough, nobody that I know wears them.

  3. Cleto Reyes: A classic yes, but I've heard the long break-in process and I am skeptical.

  4. Boxeo TM: Fit2Box says they're awesome, anybody has them? Also I love the branding.

  5. Phenom SG300s: These ones I really like, a friend has them and they seem nice.

  6. Used Grants: What can I say? I love the logo, I am a victim of branding. They're too expensive though, I don't think I'll be able to order a new pair. Anyone ever bought a pair from Ebay?

  7. Adidas Tilt 350: This is a budget option in case I go too long undecided, does anyone have experience with those?

  8. Everlast 1910s: I absolutely love how retro these look, but are everlast products as bad as this subreddit says?

  9. Di Nardo Equum: Also another brand that I love the looks, but I've never seen a pair up close. Any experience with those?

I am fine with buying used if they are worth it, I just need help deciding, the options I like are too many. Any information would literally help me, no need for extended commentary on all those pairs.

Which one should I choose? Again I want 16oz general purpose gloves. I don't do free sparring. Thank you people.

help me check these winnings !

i found these on Facebook Marketplace for under 100 dollars and i am very keen to buy them, Winnings are basically impossible to purchase here in Africa unless you wanna pay an extra 15-20% in custom and shipping fees with the gloves already being expensive.

obviously they look used ( a lot) but the price is very reasonable, the leather looks very good except the paint (which goes away after a few months anyway with other gloves ive used) and i would love to have them as bag/pad gloves to practice for fights.

i noticed that the laces were replaced but apart from that everything looks real, i read a few posts here about how to check the authenticity of the gloves and i didnt find any issue. But i still want people opinion on the matter as ive never owned/seen a pair of winnings, you can also tell me if i should ask for other pictures of specific parts of the gloves, thanks a lot !
