Fiido X

While riding under normal conditions, the main folding joint on my Fiido X suddenly gave way and the entire bike literally broke into two pieces underneath me. One second I was riding normally, the next the frame collapsed completely. I was extremely lucky not to be seriously injured.

This is not wear and tear. This is not bad luck. This is a dangerous structural failure on a premium-priced e-bike that should never happen in real-world riding.

After contacting Fiido, instead of focusing on the fact that a £1500 bike broke in half during normal use, the conversation quickly shifted to paperwork and whether I had an original purchase order. The priority was clearly administrative protection, not rider safety.

Even more alarming, after this happened to me, I started searching and found multiple similar reports online from other Fiido X owners describing the exact same type of frame/folding joint failure. This is not an isolated case.

A pattern of structural failures on the same model is a serious safety concern.

I am posting this with photos so other riders are aware and can inspect their bikes immediately. People deserve to know what can happen.

I was lucky.
Others may not be.

Torque Sensor inaccuracy on C21

Hello,
since I had to replace the display on my C21 my speed is shown exactly as exactly 10 km/h less than it actually is.
Is there a quick fix for that?

C21 in an apartment, maybe extender battery does the trick?

I am really hooked on getting this C21 gravel bike, but I live in an apartment and can't easily charge it every day. Daily commute is around 20 km city traffic in total, and I am wondering if it means I need to charge every night?

And since I can't charge anywhere, does the extender battery help with that? Can I use that, clip it off to bring it in, and never charge the internal battery? Do I even need the internal battery at that point? Could I perhaps just take it out and only hook up external battery?
