Vou morrer nessa colina: a Tamaki NÃO é um erro de escrita. Ela é intencionalmente desconfortável.

O pessoal fala dela como se fosse “fanservice ruim”, mas acho que muita gente perdeu completamente o ponto de Fire Force.

A Tamaki existe como um caos ambulante dentro de um anime que já é sobre excesso:

fogo exagerado,

expressões exageradas,

insanidade religiosa,

gente explodindo,

trauma psicológico,

personagens literalmente sorrindo enquanto enlouquecem.

Tudo em Fire Force é extremo. O fanservice dela também é.

A “Lucky Lecher Lure” é tão absurda que passa da sexualização normal e vira praticamente uma paródia do próprio trope de anime ecchi. O Ohkubo pega aquele clichê clássico de “garota que cai em posição constrangedora” e transforma numa maldição cósmica ridícula.

E honestamente? O fato dela ARRUINAR momentos sérios é justamente o motivo das pessoas ficarem tão irritadas.

Mas aí vem a pergunta: por que as pessoas aceitam:

personagens sendo queimados vivos,

fanatismo religioso,

mutilação,

insanidade mental,

violência extrema,

mas uma personagem apelando pro sexual automaticamente “destrói a obra”?

Parece que violência estilizada virou intelectualmente aceitável, mas sexualidade estilizada ainda deixa muita gente desconfortável.

E antes que falem: “ah mas ela não tem desenvolvimento”.

Ela literalmente tem um arco inteiro sobre sentir vergonha da própria fragilidade, tentar se tornar útil além da aparência e buscar respeito dentro da Companhia 8.

O problema é que a internet reduziu ela a meme antes mesmo de prestar atenção nela.

Você não precisa gostar da Tamaki.

Mas dizer que ela é “só fanservice” é ignorar que ela provavelmente foi criada exatamente pra provocar esse tipo de reação.

I’m so glad I finally had an excuse to make a Fire Force cosplay! I wanted something relatively quick to make to get me out of a crafting slump and breezy to wear during the heatwave Virginia just experienced.

If anyone has any crafting or Fire Force related questions, my ears are open :D

Truly the character of all time.

She just seemed way more likeable when she was drunk ngl

I finished watching the series and honestly, I didn’t really enjoy it that much. I know people are probably gonna dislike this post, and honestly, I guess that’s valid.

For me, the characters weren’t that interesting, and most of the comedy didn’t land either. The animation was amazing at first, but Season 3’s animation honestly felt like a downgrade to me. The emotional moments were either meh or miss, and most of the time I just felt bored or tired watching each episode.

The voice acting wasn’t bad though, and the Season 3 finale was kinda weak, but not terrible at the same time.

So if I had to give an honest rating for Fire Force, I’d give it a 6.8/10. It’s not awful, but it definitely had a lot of flaws for me personally.

Atsushi Ohkubo isn’t a bad author at all, and I respect his work, but his style and content just really aren’t for me personally.

But hey, that’s just me. If you like the series, then that’s completely fine — I’m not judging or hating on anyone for enjoying it. You can disagree with me, criticize my post, or try to debunk my points if you want. I honestly don’t care.

For other manga readers what was something you wished they kept in the anime from the manga for the last season. They definitely should have kept Arthur’s and Vulcans little arc together before he went and fought dragon again.

Is this a direct reference to As the gods will movie or just a japanesse cultural reference?

And Sho has the ability to stop time and space around him, without needing an Adolla Link to the Evangelist, and to attack silently. Shinra had to surpass his limits and reach the speed of light to match his power.

Like censorship 99% of the time is bad, but I think this is one of the few cases where it is actually just as good as the original. Like look at Maki flexing that bicep! 💪

Here’s hoping the Blu-Ray release for season 3 takes some notes here for bringing back Maki’s muscles.
