I'm not using the garbage SD card that shipped with the cartridge, and I tried to use SuperFW's web patcher to generate a fix to no avail. The game is playable, but it is stuck at 2000/01/01 at 10 AM, which isn't optimal for a game that uses RTC mechanics. Any ideas?
I have bought a superchis flashcart from Chris family store.
I tried playing Pokemon fire Red on it, but I've been having two issues.
The game randomly freezes mid fight sometimes
And it randomly restarts
The cartridge and slot are clean, the batteries are charged, I don't have IPS, I've tried disabling direct save, in game menu and all other options when flashing, I play flashed game only.
What else could I check to fix it? Is this a known issue?

I’ve been working really hard on my custom firmware for the EZ-Flash Omega DE since I last posted here.
This new update is a complete overhaul of the menu system, featuring a new start screen that’s faithful to the original DS software, along with a much nicer settings screen.
I've added all the colour options from the original DS software, which are now all compatible with dark mode. You also no longer need to reflash the cartridge every time you want to change colours, which is a really nice quality-of-life improvement.

Update: If you downloaded v6.0 yesterday I would suggest updating to v6.2 for better sound handling and significantly faster menus.

I recently have bought one ds pico flashcart, and every game seems to be working fine.
Though when I load kirby mass attack, I'm getting nothing but still white screens.
Is there an explanation to why this game is not working?
I know that DS games are not region locked. But kirby mass attack had its release relatively late. Could running the european version of this specific game on a japanese unit be producing those issues? (I own a japanese ds lite)
Hi! I've received yesterday my SuperChis Prime cartridge, tested with several games, most of them work flawlessly, but no matter what, I can't make any Pokemon game get working.
I've tried to writing to NOR Flash, tinkering with settings, but either It returns a white screen, or loads the title screen for a second and freezes.
I'm using it on a GB Micro with latest SuperFW.
Can't find any fix on the internet so far.

The problem is that it doesn't enter the DSpico menu; I don't know if that's normal.
I have a weird issue. Old Guys keep changing day by day. I'm playing on a DS Lite with a SupercardSD. Could it be related to the flash savefile used by superfw? It seems strange to me such a thing could be possible.

I really want to get the DSpico but all the guides are different, I know to format it, but what files shoud I put? the pico loader and stuff or what is WRFuxxed no auto??? PLEASE HELP ! 😭👏
I recently got my DSi fixed. My next step was to mod it but turns out it will not make me use my SD card storage for pictures as well as the music app. I've been looking for other ways to play games on it like buying another R4 that supports the latest version but I'm worried about timebombs. Then, I stumbled upon the DSPico. I looked up in Google and told me it works on 1.4.5 but I'm still skeptical 'cause I don't wanna waste on money in something I can't use. I just wanna hear your experience with it.

A while ago I decided to design some box art for the DSpico, since there wasn't any available. Little did I know there also weren't any HD templates for the boxes around either! So lo and behold I've redesigned the whole box art for glorious 600dpi (or it may have been 300dpi, it was a while ago!).

The box art is entirely based off of the standard Nintendo design for official releases, so it should match the rest of your collection.

I don't know if this is the best subreddit to ask this, but its a flashcart problem, so I'm asking here.
I have an EZFLASH Omega DE with Pokemon FireRed on it. The game has been flashed to NOR, I have loaded the save using the NOR menu, the cart is set to mode B using the switch, and I have set mode B to 'link' in the menu.
I also have an Ace3ds X flashcart with Pokemon Diamond on it. I have beaten the game, gotten the national dex, made my way to pal park, and talked to the npc there. However, the option to migrate Pokemon from Pokemon Diamond is not in the start menu when I start the game.
I am using my DS Lite for this. It is unmodded. It recognises the EZFLASH cart. I can even play FireRed on the DS. However, Pokemon Diamond is not recognising it. By all accounts, this should work. From everything I have read online, this should work. However, it doesnt, and I'm not sure why.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
EDIT: Editing this post in case it shows on search results. I have found a solution. There is a bug in the Ace3ds X firmware that requires you to reset to the kernel before it can detect games in the GBA slot. By default this is L+R+A+B+Down. Doing this, then reopening Pokemon Diamond worked.
I bought a r4 flash card recently and was wondering if I use it on a dsi. Would it work again on a 2/3ds? I understand I would lose save progress, but could I use it on another ds?
Edit: I think it may just be a broken/faulty card considering it was an Amazon return item, returner may have pulled a swapero on this. Will try any other suggestions but I'm not worried about it.
Bought this today from a return site and can't seem to figure out what's going on. It would not be recognized by my 3ds with Luma or my DSi. I have another flashcart, am R4i+ with NTR boot switch inside and I used that a long time ago to homebrew the 3ds. Since it had a switch I never dealt with refreshing firmware back to it.
I tried setting back the time but since it's not being recognized at all to load I don't think that would help at all. I then tried downloading the rhisdhc.com v4.3 kernel from sanrax.github.io/flashcart-guides/r4i-sdhc and put that onto the SD card, still nothing.
At this point I'm wondering if the cart was flashed and then returned since it wasn't working anymore as there were already ROMs on the SD card. I went to 3ds.hacks.guide/installing-boot9strap-(ntrboot).html#section-v-removing-ntrboot and followed the steps there.
On the 3ds SD card, I copied:
ntrboot_flash.firm (v0.5.0) to /luma/payloads/
r4isdhc-backup.bin (from R4iSDHC.com_20XX-Flashrom.zip) to /ntrboot/
Reinserted the flashcart and SD card into 3ds, booted ntr_bootflasher, and tried to select R4iSDHC family, R4i Gold 3DS, and even DSTT but all of them say "Your flashcart is not supported."
Could this be a contact issue then or is this a fake card? Also don't mind the tape on the micro SD card, the flash carts micro SD cart slot doesn't keep the card in place and was already on the SD card when I bought it. I also thought I saw another post mentioning those 2 .DAT files being an indicator of what card I have but now I can't find it.
so me and my girlfriend are coming up on 6 months and i wanted to get her the house MD game for the DS but seeing how much it costs online i don’t think im willing to drop that much on a ds game is there anyway i could just port it onto a blank ds cartridge? if anyone who knows what i would need or how i could do that please let me know. even if i would have to mod her ds or mine id still do that
Picked up a huge Nintendo DS / 3DS flashcart & homebrew collection a while ago and finally started sorting through it.
Collection includes things like:
3x SuperCard DSTWO
Sky3DS & Sky3DS+
Acekard 2i
M3 Real / M3 Zero
multiple R4 / R4i / R4 Gold variants
Action Replay DS
DS Lite rumble packs
PowerSaves adapters
various multicarts
original Nintendo cables/accessories
tons of microSD cards/readers/adapters
Most carts still have microSD cards inside.
A lot of the stuff seems to come from different eras of the DS homebrew scene (early PassMe/SuperKey era up to 3DS flashcarts).
I honestly didn’t realize how deep this rabbit hole goes until I started researching DSTWO, Acekard, old R4 revisions etc.
A few questions for people who know this scene better:
Which carts here are considered the rarest/most desirable today?
Is it better to sell DSTWOs individually or as a bundle?
Are there specific R4 revisions collectors look for?
Is there still a market for complete “ready to use” setups with microSD cards/readers?
Would love to hear opinions from longtime DS homebrew collectors.
