I’ve been using DSPico and wanted to switch games without powering my DS off and back on, so I built DSPico QuickReturn, a community fork of LNH-team’s Pico Loader.

Hold L + R + Down + Select for about half a second to return from a game to the Pico menu, then launch another game.

Getting it working involved a lot of hardware testing, failed builds, memory allocation problems, and coordinating the DS’s two processors during the return. I’ve tested it successfully with several games on my DS, including repeated returns and relaunches. I’m interested in feedback from other DSPico users to help identify any remaining compatibility issues.

The release is free and includes:

• A complete SD-card software package
• Installation instructions
• Source code
• A technical writeup covering the problems and fixes

Hi guys, I posted a couple of years ago about playing PSX games on the DS by running the Linux port on the DSTWO card and using the PSX4All emulator from there. Well, I’ve taken it a step further and adapted a different emulator.... PCSX4all that had never been ported to the DSTWO. This version has sound, and I’m continuing to optimise it to get the best possible performance before releasing it. What do you think? :)
