Hi Florence!

Hoping to clear up some confusion...

My fiancé and I are from Florence, and have been planning to get married in the mountains in NC this Oct. I was looking on Florence County's website for info on when to apply for our marriage license when I saw where it says, "The ceremony must take place in SC, but not necessarily in the county where the license was issued".

If we have a ceremony in NC, do we need to wait to sign the documents with our officiant in SC for it to be legal?

Our NC venue is paid in full and nonrefundable, so we don't want to lose it.

If it comes down to it, we'll simply have an intimate ceremony here if needed but I'm just trying to figure out our plan.

Looking for a group of people to do board games, magic the gathering, table tops etc

I’ve gone to hero’s hideout, the vibe isn’t always the best when I go so would rather find a group outside of there

They finished these retail and restaurant spaces over a year ago, and every single space currently sits vacant. There's also clearly an unused restaurant space next to Palmetto Peddlers that at last check is overrun with vegetation. This seems like a huge waste.

Both are cheaper than what we pay for Spectrum and the specs look better. I’m wondering if anyone has already switched and can tell me what the installation fees and process were like and whether it’s working well so far.

Our meetings are at the Leatherman Senior Center on the last Tuesday of the month.

We've called over 1000 people and knocked on 350 doors. We need more volunteers for phones and door knocking!!

Today, we were 1 vote away from all of us losing our US Citizenship. We need as many people as possible to do the work to help save the country.

Does anyone have recommendations for someone who can do a dryer deep clean? I had a tech come out to fix my dryer yesterday who said that the dryer needs to be deep cleaned but they do not do that. He also didn't attach the dryer back to the vent in the wall. Anyway I can reach out to that can do this work?

Does anywhere in town have mens sports leagues? The only thing I know of is basketball, and I think some guys play ultimate at Mcleod Health and Fitness sometimes. Does anyone know if there is a consistent softball or soccer league?

I don’t know if a “handyman” is even a thing anymore, but I guess that’s what I’m looking for 😂

I need somebody to do some pretty simple things around my house that I should be able to do myself if I’m being honest. But I would rather have somebody who knows what they’re doing do it, than risk messing it up with a half assed DIY like the previous owners of my house did 😒

If anybody has a recommendation for a company that could do things like: hang a storm door, hang an outdoor ceiling fan, replace a vapor barrier (not encapsulate, just like cover the ground with a sheet of plastic) and clean out gutters I would really appreciate it!!
