I got a MIDI drum file that I want to import into FL studio - however when I try, it looks like it's importing ALL of the recorded MIDI notes as the kick drum.

All of the midi data is imported into one piano roll- so it just spams the kick drum at different notes.

I don't want to manually copy and paste each line of MIDI notes into it's own piano roll- I assume there's some way to do this that isn't manually copy/pasting?

i downloaded some plugins and added them in my plugins on fl but some of them wont show up and i cant use them. what do i do?

Hi everyone. I was just wondering what plugins do you use to brighten your mix? Something like maximizers, saturation, enhancers and so on. What gives your music that fullness and punch. Doesn't matter what genre you are into. I play around with industrial techno powernoise sort of mix. Anything you can recommend is useful, payed plugins and all. Thanks.

Made songs and really was hooked into the piano roll of FL studio! I find myself always venturing deep with sound creation to the point where I’m not really creating compositions anymore.

Haven’t made anything in about 4 years and now getting myself back into it with a new MacBook I’ve ordered. I have various VSTs like Omnisphere, BBC Orchestra, Kontakt, etc and I also have various hardware synths too. I love having orchestral instruments play along with synths, and mostly play in the moment and hit record when it happens. I do use the piano roll when I need to tweak a pattern too!

Should I try FL again? I feel a fatigue that makes me not want to try it, mostly due to the few times FL has crashed on me while using Windows. Now that I’m getting a Mac, I want to give Logic or other DAWs a shot.

New to fl, whenever my vocals are peaking I just turn it down in mixer but I’ve been seeing videos of people doing it other ways like turning down the vocal recording its self or any other ways instead and I’m just wondering if I’m doing it “wrong”

Hi everyone,

I’m having a really strange issue with my MIDI keyboard in FL Studio.

My keyboard seems to be sending some unexpected controller commands. For example, when I press the F# key, it opens the channel rack.

It's really problematic, and it's also preventing me from recording at all.

FL Studio does recognize the keyboard, and my VST picks it up, so I can hear the sounds, but none of my presses get recorded into the pattern.

Has anyone run into this before or know how to fix it? I’ve checked my MIDI settings, but I must be missing something. Any advice would be super appreciated!

I saved my project as a .flp file, but then FL Studio crashed and closed by itself. the problem is that I'm using the trial version, so now I can't open the project again to export the song. all I got is the flp file

I don't want to edit or modify the project. I just need someone who can open the .flp file in FL Studio and send me the final audio in MP3, or WAV if that's easier. the song is already finished and doesn't need any changes

if anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it

and I know this kind of stuff is not allowed, but I really need that audio, I can't afford FL Studio right now. I just needed the mp3 file and that's it, nothing more.

hello everyone, so i got a lot of new stuff and i have a little trouble making it work.
i got the behringer xr18,. My microphone works and i can hear it through speakers and also in ear monitor.
but my problem is that when i open fl studio to load my banks via tx16wx sampler.
i cant hear anything.. everything is connected as it has to be, fl studio sees my keyboard and it even plays keys but the sound i guess its not going anywhere.
i use X air edit it works well but i need help with this. please.
