Hardcore KSP Player Looking to Return to Flyout

Hi everyone,

Do you think this game is worth giving another chance? I’ve tried it twice. The first time I was too frustrated and refunded it on Steam, but the second time, about a year ago, I gave it another shot. I managed to build a fighter jet at around MiG-15 level, flew it for a bit, and then stopped playing. What discourages me is the fact that the game seems kind of “abandoned.”

I consider myself a fairly hardcore player of construction sandbox games. I’ve played Sprocket before (you build tanks there, similar to Flyout).

I also have over 3,000 hours in Kerbal Space Program, where, with dozens of mods, I mostly built airplanes and helicopters. I enjoy realistic flight simulators, but instead of flying Boeing or Airbus aircraft, I’ve always preferred building something “of my own.” I really like the idea of realistically piloting a creation from my own fictional design bureau.

Has anything significantly changed in the game over the past year? I remember being frustrated by the lack of an undo function.

Are there more cockpit customization options, liveries, etc.?

Is this a good range?

Recon plane date by flyout in 1943, 5*5 piston engine, 2*6 contrarotavies propellers, one crew, 18m wing span and 11m lenght
More than 11h at 11000m

First functional aircraft after 8 hours of trying to learn the game. How’d I do?

Rudders might be a bit small. Huge fan of this game already.

Question about missiles

I want to make a cruise missile meant to hit a target at like 300 km, how would I do that? I have no idea how coordinate fired missiles work and when I try, I can’t set a target past 50 km.

Some of my creation

Some of my craft, one observer from 1943 Push 5*5 cylindrique motor and contra rotative propeller 6 blade each ( still improving bc of low climb rate) 20 meter wing span Don't have a proper name yet.
Then it is the BC 13 Chimère : Mono engine of 157kN of trust at sea level stop. in it's fighter configuration. Not paint yet ( fighter bomber)
And finally the Espadon Light interceptor but short range : 15 min of fuel at 15000m. became unstable when out of missiles (give a lot of it agility back).

Wing tip stall

How do I avoid wing tip stall on planes with straight wings, or wings with somewhat uniform width? It seems to me that my only planes without this issue are some type of delta wings, or at least short wings with wide base

How copy wings for the other side? WIP

Making my first plane and I think one wing works but I don't know how to get the same wing setup onto the other side, because it has the annoying thing on the bottom and therefore i cant flip it. Does anyone know what to do?

What's wrong with my fins? :(

No matter if I tick "movable" on or not, the fins neither seem to move nor have any impact on the performance of the missile.

Am I missing something? Or if this a bug, any ideas on I could fix that?
